I tend to hate promoting my favorite places because they tend to get known, then I can never get in with out a wait. This one is safe at least till summer. Coleman's is literally in the middle of nowhere on the way to somewhere. If you take hwy 6 (the S branch of hwy 26 on the way to the coast) when you get to milepost 41 you'll find it. It is 20 miles west of 185th, and well worth the drive.
Though the menu is a good deal of burgers, there are enough other options to satisfy everyone up to and including vegetarians. I've had the Tillamook Hot Brown which was so rich my eyes crossed, the
Elvis which channeled him well, the veggie burger Rueben which satisfied me no end. The mashed potatoes are great, the fries fresh and crisp, the deserts mostly out of this world, and homemade. The chef does a truly outstanding job of doing down home county cooking and giving it a twist.
Why only 4 stars you're asking? Simple, it's too damn far away to go more often.
