This place has a limited menu and sticks to the breakfast basics including eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt and your standard variations of omelet. They also make fresh baked muffins every morning and they are delicious. The food is all well prepared and tasty, but nothing over the top special. I want to give four stars because it is a fine place to go in the neighborhood if you just want a simple breakfast and don't feel like cooking, but there are too many minor flaws. The coffee is nothing special, the servicepersons can be aloof, some of the options are a tad bit overpriced and there are giant windows that the morning sun blasts through making certain tables both unwelcomingly warm and blinding.

This is the cafe at the floor level of the 2601 Condos building and you can enter from Pennsylvania Avenue without going inside the building. Worth a visit for a casual and standard breakfast outing.
