Frozen Peanut Butter Cup:  Creamy peanut butter, Ghirardelli Chocolate, and coffee blended with ice.

I love they drinks so much and they don't even have alcohol.  I may have to review my whole value system.

Service is excellent.  And there's a guy that works the counter that is so stream of consciousness.  Lord, the poop that boy say is funny.  It's not like someone left the radio set to crazy; it's more like he gots the A.D.D.  I love his non-sequiturs. Seriously, not since I saw Penny (played by little Ms. Janet Jackson) be burned with an iron by she abusive mama have I been so tickled.  (I can watch that sh*t on a loop and never get tired of it.  I love when she scream, "No mama!  No!")

I love the coffee, I have cravings for the hot cocoa, and I make special trips for the iced coffee, especially in the summer.   This location is the easiest for me to get to, but is in second place behind their Wollaston location next to the T station, which my brother frequents at least twice a day.  I've always had friendly service from the mostly teenage help at all of their locations.

I'd go more often but it's a bit out of the way.  Dare I say better coffee than Starbucks?  I just did.  Only missing a star because it's not "on the way" to anywhere I travel and I wish they carried more pastries, but the space is a bit small so, que sera.

Great selection of coffee and the biggest most delicious muffins anywhere.  They even serve Grandma's Coffee Cake, which is absolutely the best anywhere.
The place is usually busy so it's best to just get take out, but if you choose to stay, they do offer comfy couches and wifi.

Main draws?  Free Wi-Fi and good coffee..  the staff are pretty friendly and don't seem to mind if you get a drink and camp out on your laptop for a while!  Also close to a lot of other stuff; post office, Shaw's, BOA ATM..  so you can tell yourself you are getting chores done too..  that is how I roll!

Score one for the locals -- I've recently switched the source for my morning fix from Starbucks to CBC.  This small chain (which also operates locations in Quincy) features a wide range of flavored coffees -- German Coffee Cake (my personal favorite), Snickers Parfait and Rainforest Crunch are just a few of the options -- that are available either hot or iced.  CBC offers a variety of breakfast items to accompany your cup-o-joe, from gigantic muffins to Finagle-a-Bagel bagles.  Their staff is quite friendly and highly efficient.  CBC also rewards its regular customers through its frequent buyer card, which is available at the counter...purchase 10 coffees and receive your 11th free (note, however that for large iced coffees, the incentive is $1.00 off).  Parking is ample as this CBC is located in the Shaw's Plaza, next to Marshall's.

This location of Coffee Break Cafe has great parking since it is a part of a strip mall. Once you get inside, everything smells good, and you are greeted by very friendly people. They have so many choices! Cappuccino drinks, lattes, hot chocolate, chai tea, regular coffee, flavored coffee and more! They also have really sinful muffins, like my favorite, the cheesecake muffin! While you're sitting inside enjoying your yummy cup of whatever you decided to get, you can also play the lottery, or scratch scratch tickets since they sell them right there! If you're looking for an authentic Boston type of coffee house I suggest you try this place out!
