Coconuts is a great place to go to relax, have a few drinks on the deck, and watch the boats come back in to Cedar Key for the night while the sun sets. They offer a good selection of drinks for the area and an attentive bar staff. My experiences at Coconuts will have me coming back to unwind at Cedar Key for a long time.

On a sunny day, the atmosphere, shrimp, and cheap (ice cold draughts) are exactly what the doctor ordered. Watching the boats and dolphins while we scarfed down some delicious, fresh shrimp was the perfect end to a great Cedar Key afternoon.
The shrimp really were good; we should have had more. -

Now open in their new location and better than ever. Great happy hour from 11 - 6. Pool tables, video games, large deck in the back where you can tie up your boat. Staff is friendly and the owners Paul and Mary are really nice.

This is a great place to hang out and have a few drinks on their outdoor dock seating. This is one of the best places to watch the sun go down in Cedar Key if you like a drink and a crowd with your sunsets! Rusty Rim upstairs serves food - it's typical bar food, don't expect delicate, but perfect to accompany your favorite brew. Pool tables and sometimes music complete the experience! Friendly folks too - locals and tourists.
