Have you ever ate something so good that you just wanted to go and give a great big bear hug to the person who made it?  Well, that's how I feel every time I sit down and indulge myself with Cocoa Pete's Chocolates.

This dark Chocolate bar named Berry Berry Dangerous has 61% cocoa with real bits of strawberries in it.  It's like eating a chocolate dip strawberry without the messy chocolate fountain.   It's so heavenly, I get weepy and giddy all at the same time.

The chocolate bar is divided up into four convenient won-ton shape morsels so if you want to eat just one and save the rest it can be done and that way you won't  feel to guilty after wards.  You can't find Cocoa Pete's just anywhere, they are sold at specialty supper markets or you can go down to the Chocolate shop in Campbell and visit Mr. Pete himself.  I read somewhere that he first got into the beer brewing business and then ventured into chocolates, a weird combo but shit, his chocolates are to die for he got the recipe right.  There are other flavors, like Maltimus Maximus, Caramel Knowledge, and Nuts So Serious.  The only other bar I have tried was the Caramel Knowledge...and I have to admit, the caramel wasn't so great inside, it had a liquidy constancy but that was easily over looked because the dark chocolate was YUMMY.

One day I am going to drive myself over to Campbell and stop by and give Mr. Cocoa Pete a hug....I mean it, I will!!   Really!
