This enchanting little deli in Ft. Thomas serves up fresh sandwiches, salads, and soups at reasonable prices. You place your order at the counter, which allows you to peruse the different cold salads and desserts. Cobblestone must do an unbelievable carry-out business because we saw several people exiting big to-go bags and the phone rang the whole time with new orders.
I selected the Three Scoop Plate, a platter made with my choice of three homemade salads with fresh fruit and a slice croissant. I chose the Redskin Sweet Potato Salad (a tasty concoction made with redskin and sweet potatoes, seasoned with dill, and blended with the right amount of mayo), Cole Slaw (a sweet and tangy version made with poppy seeds), and chicken salad. I also order a side of pasta salad made with three kinds of diced sweet peppers and chunks of cheese. Each salad had been made with care and quality ingredients.
My friend could only describe his Hot Italian Sub as simply "phenomenal." The staff was cordial and our meals were delivered very quickly despite our lunch rush timing. I'll definitely be back again.
