I am no fan of tacky monograms or the free advertising that luxury brands are currently enjoying by selling you a product with their name and/or logo plastered all over. However, it's hard to beat the classic beauty and high quality of Coach leather goods. Unlike some other high end brands, Coach has something for every girl and every price range and this is a solid go-to when trying to buy for the girl who has everything.

Thanks to the proximity of this store to Boyfriend's office and some help from Yelp staff (Connie- you're the best), I am now the proud owner of two more delicious pieces. Lucky me.

I know they say you can't buy love, but I'm not sure I'd go that far.

I came here to get my watch adjusted while i was going out to lunch and I was extremely upset that it took 45 mins - 1 hour to remove a few links from my watch.

I love this Coach location. Right when I walked in the store was bright, roomy, and filled with beautiful displays. With an upstairs and downstairs, it is easy to navigate and look around. Their shoes and men's items are downstairs as well as some handbag's. Up top is their classics and new season styles. You can find accessories and sunglasses as well.

The staff is very helpful. I walked in not knowing how the item I was supposed to buy for my cousin looked like. All I had was a description. The salesperson helped me quickly and efficiently. She showed me different colors and gave me some suggestions. They are not too clingy and let you do your thing. But are always attentive to where you don't have to search them down when you want something.

All items are carefully packaged and wrapped downstairs and then brought up in a sophisticated matter. I prefer their sales team verses LV's hands down.

You should feel comfortable with what you are about to purchase. Not haggled down and dealing with stuck ups.

Great price. Great summer sales. Great staff. Best store!

I love this store - purses and wallets galore. This is the biggest Coach store in the city. I like their wide selection and store displays. Sometimes I walk by just to check out the window display. They always have the cutest outfits according to season and matching Coach shoes and accessories. I admit I'm a Coach addict and can't help but look. I am drawn to the Big C's and the small c's but not fond of the patchwork. But, regardless of what's in stock for the season, they have really cute bags and matching wallets. I always get good service here, the sales staff is very helpful.

You purchase a few items and Coach will send you discount cards for 25%. Coach fan for life.

The staff here is super nice. I was undecisive about which color to get in the new lily satchel and I had already switched the bag 3 times! So I went in and they brought all 4 colors out for me and I ended up keeping the white one. They have all the new bags and accessories plus the stores is super clean and good location. Would definitely come here for some new bags!

seems like i'm here all the freakin' time.  how many coach bags have i bought over the years? the staff is superb and can almost always pick out the perfect bag for my wife's taste.

the only thing i don't like about coach is how most of the newer stuff has the coach logo ALL OVER the bags...that's kinda cheesy to me.

We wandered by here while on our way to BR.
I wasn't planning on buying anything but my friend had a 30% off coupon and I found a nice pair of leather gloves to prep for the cold winter weather abroad....who could resist....great customer service, the girl was super sweet and helpful.
I'm not a big Coach fan but ok, now, I have one item from them.

There's a soft spot in my dark, embittered heart of coal for the Coach of yesteryear: logo-free leather saddlebags, attaches, purses, and the like. They were a little dowdy, sure; but they were also affordable, durable, and subtle.

They still sell these hardy, timeless accessories. But in the last few years -- basically since their IPO and subsequent NYSE listing -- many products are ephemera and "C"d out, which of course I fucking hate with a deep passion.

Bored during my lunch break last week Wednesday, I decided to enter this store, though I could pretty much GUARANTEE that it would piss me off. What can I say? I'm a hardcore masochist and THAT'S JUST HOW I ROLL.

While I was browsing the nasty fall collection, a strumpet entered with a COACH cap, a COACH Ergo Signature hobo, and COACH sneaks, all emblazoned with "C"s.

She picked up one of the new and forever repulsive "Optic" Signature totes and brought it to one of the salesgirls. While waiting to be rung up, she did the 'twist-look-turn' and glared at yours truly as if she thought I was the help. Her tote was boxed and bagged, and she sauntered out.

Since I am by nature an inquisitive man, I really wanted to ask the tacky bitch if she ALSO trimmed her fucking pubes into a

I'd buy gucci or lv over coach until death, but the new designer should get a make over of the year award!
And, I didn't think I would every buy Coach but have bought these boots and the boots are fabulous and as comfortable as sneakers or slippers. No joke.

I dunno...I've shopped at this location a few times, today being the latest excursion.  It's fine during the off-season, but during the holidays it seems the sales associates glom onto the touristy types who appear to have money.  The rest of us locals as SOL.

I'll stick to my local Coach store for great customer service.

If ever there was a reason to spend half-a-grand on a purse for the one you love (or want to impress), it is to purchase a coach bag for your sweetie.    I've been to Coach shops in Santa Barbara, E'ville and SF, and the SF store is by far, the most well stocked and most representative of the complete line.    I love going in there by myself and wondering what would have happended if I was born with a tranny gene and drooled over these lovely turquoise & purple leather creations of beauty and durability.      I have a Coach Wallet and key ring, and that is farthest my manliness will allow me to go with Coach for myself, but I don't have a problem dropping a thou for accessories that make Ms. Beautiful smile like a kid on Christmas morning.

I have to avoid this store at ALL costs. I was never high maintenance (still isn't) nor was I always materialistic, but Coach always lured me in. Their cute bags that are often displayed for the street to see always called my name. The moment I step in I always expected to be snubbed by the workers but damn them, their customer service is top notch (not to mention they make you feel bad for not purchasing anything), and me being a softie, always end up buying a $200 purse... that I end up returning a few days later. I really do NOT need a purse that expensive. I no longer go into this store, but I definitely give Coach five stars for good quality, oh so cute bags, and customer service.

Bravo to Coach and their great customer service.  I went to return a unused portfolio yesterday I bought in NYC and did not have the original receipt.  I received nothing but friendly and helpful service with zero attitude.  They refunded me the money and that is why I will continue to shop there.  Paying a little more is worth it when you get good service such as that.

I'm not always the hugest fan of Coach, but sometimes I find things in here that I love.  Usually I'll see someone with a Coach bag and think about how cute it looks on them, and then when I go to the store and try it on, it doesn't look as cute on me.  I do much better with LV and Gucci.........but I always admire girls with Coach bags and wish they looked that cute on me.

Anyway, service in here is spectacular.  They always make you feel like you are the only customer there, and that you just bought the priciest and most valuable thing there, even if you didn't.

My only complaint is that this place is usually overun with pushy Asian tourists, pushing me out of their way.  Calm down, the bag isn't going anywhere I swear!

I'm not a Coach girl but I am giving them 5 stars for their customer service alone.

I tried to be the dutiful daughter I like I think I [sometimes] am and I decided to buy my mom something nice to congratulate her on her new job. I have never bought my parents anything expensive or nice until this year. So this is how it goes down.

My mom is your stereotypical Chinese mom. She rags on me for not buying her presents for her birthday, mother's day, Christmas yet when I do, she rags on me for spending money. Ehh, "wasting money" is how she puts it.

I think to myself, okay, what is a name brand that is somewhat nice, pricey but not Gucci and that I can afford at the moment? Ding ding! COACH.

I walked in with a male friend and he picks out a zillion black leather bags (my mom's preference). He fails miserably. The sales lady, Nuriko, starts offering a few suggestions. She is a tall Japanese lady with a cute accent and she wasn't pushy at all!  I finally pick a bag, Nuriko rings up my purchase and gift wraps it for me. A few days later a thank you card handwritten by Nuriko herself arrives.

I give my mom the Coach box and this is how it goes.

Susy C: Maaaaaaaa! Where are you!? I bought you a present!
Susy C's Mom (SCM for short): Wha!? Why you spend money!? You waste money!!
Susy C: It's to congratulate you on your new job!
SCM: ooOooh okay. Wow, what is Coach!? Shopping bag so nice! The paper is thick!!
Susy C: Ma, I actually bought you a PRESENT open it! Geez.
SCM: Woowww!! The box is so so pretty! I'm going to keep it.
Susy C: Okay ma that's great. Come ON open it!
SCM: *opens box* Wow... This purse... SO UGLY. Oh my god. I'm supposed to wear this?!
Susy C:   ............... *glares at mom*
SCM: Okay solly. Can I return? Exchange?
Susy C: FINE!

Back to Coach we go...

Nuriko: Ohiyo! Welcome back! *looks at the shopping bag* Your mom didn't like?
Susy C: No.. She hated it. I'm here to exchange it. Sorry.
Nuriko: It's okay! Here let me help you.

2 hours later, Susy C's mom goes through every single purse and small leather good inside the Coach store. After oooohing and aahhhing over multiple purses, she goes back to the original purse I picked out for her.

Susy C: MA!! Oh my Buddha I am going to kill you!
SCM: What!? Why you kill!? Why you kill me!?
Susy C: THAT'S THE FIRST PURSE I PICKED OUT FOR YOU!
SCM: Oh. How come it look better when I pick it?

Nuriko then showed us a seasonal holiday bag that my mother somehow missed. She decided on it and happily wears it at family functions.

SCM's relatives: Wowww nice purse.
SCM: Yeah, my nui picked it out for me. Nice huh!? It's Coach. It's expensive.

Susy C: *shudders in remembrance of the 2 hours spent in Coach and forces a smile*

THANK YOU NURIKO.

the staff here is very friendly and helpful and have gone out of their way several times to help me, and i've been really impressed.  i can't afford to buy coach for myself, but i have a friend who lives overseas where they don't sell coach, and everytime i go to visit her, i bring her what she requests.  i just print out whatever it is that she wants and bring it into the store and they find exactly what it is, or if they don't have it, they find it in another one of the local stores.  they give me all the gift wrapping materials (including ribbon!) and give me the boxes flat so i can take everything in a suitcase.  i could probably just as easily order everything online but to me it seems worth the time and trouble to go to the store when they are always so helpful.  i definitely plan to continue shopping here.

I know absolutely nothing about handbags or brand names, but there are women in my life who do and take pleasure in dragging me along to satisfy their sick and twisted fantasies in the process. Which is how I found myself at this Coach store.

My natural inclination was to dismiss this place and the product as the ultimate bourgeois boondoggle - sweatshop manufactured, consumer approved - but I was willing to be on my best behavior and give it a try.

And they do have bags out the wazzoo. I have no idea why anyone needs that many bags, or why a bag should cost more than the crap inside of it - but there are many things I don't understand about chicks and I've added this to the list. Sure, the workmanship is good and the styles are appealing, but I can't see the justification. Also, you can tell by the floor space thats empty that they are marking up their bags tremendously based on the logic that it needs to cover their wasted space.

The staff is pretty knowledgeable and helpful, and were happy to model bags for us, indulged in some banter with me on care and usage, and were willing to get something from another store when they couldn't find it in the back. Customer service is an important part of this process, so I must give them top marks for it.

The mens stuff is pretty vapid and unappealing. No tri-fold wallets? Come on! And every straight guy I saw there looked bored as hell, owing to the fact that his significant other was wasting both time and money. I suggested that they setup an Xbox and a TV for the men - it would at least give us something to do and make the store look like everyone was having a good time.

I'll give this place four stars because I liked the service, and because really I should be rating the customers a -5 for pure unadulterated stupidity. Since I was there willingly, I'm not exempt from this negative rating either.

I walked in there with no intention of actually buying anything, but left with a signature silk neckerchief.  Go figure!    The sales ladies were a bit on the gabby side, not with me, but amongst themselves.    I wonder if it was because I didn't go with something more expensive?  Hmmm....  I just had a wee bit of a feeling that I was being ignored.  No, I don't have a complex.  I've been to the Coach in SoHo in NYC and in Portland and the sales people were always quite friendly and helpful.

The scarf was a great purchase, though I may not return to this Coach store again...

Looking for a men's good wallet?  Give Coach a try.  I previously had a Versace wallet, but the stitch was so poor that it fell apart after a year of pocket abuse.  My coach wallets have lasted years.  The first Coach wallet lasted a good 3 years before the leather started to fade from spilling an acidic drink on it.  The one I'm using now has lasted a good 4 years and has been a great companion for my pant pockets.

Excellent quality leather, fine sturdy stitching, and plenty of room to hold those C-notes.  Pick yourself up a winner.

If you have about $200-$$$$ dollars to spare on handbags.....i fully recommend this place......the thing is, the quality of the handbags is absolutely fabulous......you know that the bags will last forever, you will pass them on to your great-great grandchildren.....and they will still be stylish, vintage, and great!!!  my little black leather bag, (my hubby bought it for me during our honeymoon, actually here in this store) still looks good, like new, not one little problem with it......they just make great, good quality handbags!!!  ( they also have other accessories, which are cute too!!,)

I love Coach bags and accessories. LOVE! If I could I would ask it to marry me. (Sorry, honey. I love you too. But this bag is really adorable and those boots are awesome!)

I am a whore to all things Coach. I'm not saying that I don't have other brands of bags, wallets, card cases, shoes, belts, hats, scarves, sunglasses and gloves. But I do happen to have at least one of each in each of the listed categories. They make great bags and they last and last. If you do experience any problems with their items they do try and see if it can be fixed.

Of all the times I've been in here, the staff has been fairly friendly and engaging.

And above all else? The bestest thing ever is that they do a lot with the letter 'C'. It's monogrammed over tons of things and I love that! I don't have to have anything specially monogrammed. Does that make me seem easy?

I am a self-professed Coach whore. Yes I own quite a few purses, a baby bag (without baby, but hell, it's a Coach bag, isn't it?), a sweet portfolio, and even a PDA case to boot.

I like this store a lot and think the staff to be nice folks all around. Even though the store can get funky crowded, you will get attention if you need it. Bound to set off purse lust, you would do well to check your (Coach) wallet and keep it in your (Coach) purse if you know what's good for you.

I never owned anything Coach til three months ago when I decided I wanted a good leather wallet.

I chose a nice, clean, simple, sophisticated black one with a stripe for edge.  So far it's has stood up to my daily beatings just fine.

The sales lady was quite friendly and helpful.  The store felt pleasant.

If you want a higher quality leather wallet but don't want to break the bank too much, this is the place.  I'll let the ladies talk about their purses since it's not my specialty.  =)

Let me Coach you on how to identify the best Coach store in the bay:
*  Contains both men and women sections
*  Has more than one floor
*  Shoes are always on sale
*  Carry "limited edition" bags that you can only find in SoHo
*  Having an ex-sorority girl from a rival house (who happened to rush you years ago) present to you the newest, hottest bag this season.  A very bizarre experience, no doubt.

I'm on my second Coach wallet, but still on my first Coach "filofax," which just gets better looking as the years go by. I've been carrying a Coach briefcase/satchel for about 20 years now. They nicely replaced the shoulder strap (for free!) and polished up the briefcase. It's looking a little beat-up around the edges, and I can't decide if that adds a certain panache or a certain shabbiness. I'm jonesing for one of their Legacy cases, but haven't been able to justify plunking down the money yet -- even though I know full well I'll fully get my money's worth out of it. I can't speak to their women's goods, but their men's goods last forever and never go out of style.

You know you're taken when you're tempted even to buy $50 key fobs, especially when you don't even like dangly key chains.  I don't know what it is (probably the sheer quality, attention to detail, simplicity and perfection of everything) but it seems i want more each time they have anything new, which is always.

I love Coach, really.  But do you ever get the feeling that in this particular store you're constantly running into walls or rent-a-cops?  Once through the main doors you run into a cop.  Turn right and salivate at their wall-o-bags.  Walk 3 steps then make a left.  Walk up the 2 stairs into another cop.  Turn left and take in the neat corridor of purses stacked on wall-mounted shelves.  Out of space already?  No problem!  Turn around, head down the 2 mini-stairs, turn 180 and head down to the basement (making 2 turns on the way), and take a peek at the shoes...

If you want a less crowded-feeling shopping experience may I suggest the more roomy Coach store in Valley Fair or head all the way down to Carmel where the Coach Outlet is just a few blocks away from the beach!

Went in a few days ago to buy a key holder.  The employees told me that they don't keep key holders in the store, but that I can get it if I ordered it.  I asked them why they don't keep it in the store and they said that they didn't really know.  However, they said that I can see a picture of it on their computer screen.  I can't understand why they would think it is acceptable for a person to pay a couple of hundred for key holder that I can only view on a screen without touching it.  Also, I don't understand why they wouldn't have key holders.  It is one of the few items that I think men would purchase besides wallets.

'Twas the season to be jolly, so he invested all his money on a Coach bag for her. She in turn spent everything she had on a Coach wallet for him. On Christmas morning, when they opened their gifts, they were ecstatic . . . until they realized they had nothing left to put in them. That they were guaranteed to last a lifetime is a fact O. Henry would call ironic.
