I went on their Exotic Car Experience. This is a 1 day event where you drive 6 different exotic cars for a total of 120 miles.
This is once in a lifetime experience; where else can you drive a Lotus Elise, Ferrari F430, Ferrari F355, Lamborghini Gallardo, Aston Martin DB9, and an Audi R8 all in the same day. The staff is as excellent as the cars. They are extremely helpful and added to the excitement of driving some of the best cars in the world.
Everyone should check out Club Sportiva and the cars. You will not be disappointed.
My sister and were looking for a kick-ass bday present for our dad's 60th, and we found it here. He got to drive a Maserati Spyder for a day...and I haven't seen him this excited ever!

Looking for a knock out birthday present for the man and who doesn't love a little fantasy exotic car showing up once in awhile so you can spoil yourself on the weekends. The guys were quite charismatic and answered every question and even questions I didn't think to ask.
This is a lot more affordable than the program I had back home in Chicago and the driving conditions are more favorable too. I know my hubby would love it as any red blooded man would.
A good portion of today's population does not understand "car people". Car People enjoy all things automotive whether it is ogling over the latest Ferrari or trying to pronounce Porsche's new transmission (Porsche Doppel Kupplungen), this sick crowd loves it. If you or someone you know has this infectious disease there is a cure! Take one heavy dosage of Club Sportiva whenever the craving for auto utopia arises.
Walking up to the non descript building in SOMA is a bit lackluster until you open the front door and take your first few steps into the clubhouse. The brick walls adorned with amazing paintings are quickly overlooked at the site of the cars lined up inside the club. Off to the right is an annex filled with a big TV, posh leather chairs and a huge humidor. Upstairs the club offers another lounge as well as a meeting room.
Enough about the aesthetics though, back to the cars! Club Membership allows you to drive some of the most exciting cars on the road today such as the Ferrari F430 and the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. Not exciting enough? Maybe those two cars don't have enough trunk space for your golf clubs and all the cases of wine you want to bring back from Napa... No problem, just tell the club you will be taking their stunning Bentley Continental GT instead or maybe the Aston Martin DB9 Convertible. The fact of the matter is most people who own cars like these can only afford to have one or the other, not too mention they may only take them out a few times a month. Club Sportiva allows you to enjoy these cars without the hassle of ownership. Trust me when I tell you, you don't want to know how much it costs to change the oil of a Ferrari F430.

I attended an Uncorked Events wine tasting at Club Sportiva this week and found myself in Serious Man Heaven. Shiny, curvy luxury cars beckoned from every corner of the beautifully renovated mechanical/repair shop. A ramp then takes you up to the retail area that where you will complete the transformation to the smooth sports car -driving caballero that is now you. Hot designer dress shirts, unique cuff links (check out the egg and bacon 'links for $200!), and jackets just begging for a cigar or a round of golf.
Knowing firsthand how enamored I am of all things MAN, Will T. indulged me with a sexy black pinstripe wool cap that I might even let him borrow--IF he gives me a ride in his Ferrari! Pleeeease, Daddy?!
I don't do five stars often, but Club Sportiva deserves it. The idea is brilliant - I mean who wants spend high five to six figures on a depreciating asset? Well, there are a few people - but most of us yuppies/yippies/dinks/whatevers would rather have a range of pleasure at convenient times without the hassle of going to a special mechanic. Hmmm, what next Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lotus, Porsche, Maserati, tough call.
I was thinking of buying a Lotus or Porsche (still am) but Sportiva offered an opportunity to 'try before you buy' and dispenses with all the hassles of owning an exotic car. And what cars - they are immaculately maintained and cared for, picking one up for a weekend is like heading out of the dealership and picking one off the lot - you would never know others had been enjoying the same car.
The staff here is incredible, they are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. They make every effort to ensure you get the best driving experience, they truly appreciate great cars - it shows, and they want to share it. I've met dealers who didn't have an appreciation of the cars they were selling like these guys do.
I haven't had the chance to experience any of the events due to travel, but if they are anything like the regular experience of taking a car out, they must be a great time and very well coordinated.
As Ferris Beuller said "It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up." And Sportiva makes it easy.
Can't decide whether to buy the Porsche or the Maserati...I mean, want to drive hot sports cars without having to buy them...
Club Sportiva is a time share for exotic sports cars based in the SOMA. The Ferrari of car rentals. But this ain't no Hertz.
We rented the Ferrari 308 GTSi Quattrovalvole for the weekend and were transported to V-8 heaven. We zoomed around, got stared at a lot, broke the sound barrier, and generally had a total blast.
You need a PhD to figure out their point system, but consider it exercise for your brain. Kind of like the sweepstakes entry form. If you can decipher it, you win the big prize.
Rumor has it they are getting a Lamborghini Gallardo.....ooooo.....

What a bargain! If you have ever had to repair a Rolls Royce, Ferrari, etc then you will know what a great program this is. I love cars but not repairs. Join and have a blast!!
Sort of like a classic car timeshare, this is a fun way to drive some really amazing automobiles without the hassle of maintenance. It's not inexpensive but compared to actually purchasing one, it's a good deal.
I renewed my membership - what more can I say? Actually, plenty - not only are the cars great, and getting better with the addition of the Ferrari F430 but poker nights are a gas, I've gone to some great club events and members dinners out are a great opportunity to socialize and network with some of San Francisco's most interesting people.
