shuffle board , cool bartenders , and depending which night you go you can get a VERY crowded place or a nice friendly divey/neighborhood bar .

always a good time and the bartenders know how to make drinks , sometimes they'll pour one for you and have one themselves .

a lot of fun times have been had here :)

It is NOT a club as it states. Someone please correct that.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. First couple of times were pretty bad since I had random strangers come up to me and just blatantly made their intentions known, so for awhile I avoided this place like a plague.

Thanks to some of my friends that are big fans, I've been coming here a little more often. Definitely your standard Dive Bar with your usual games. Drinks are pretty easy on the wallet, and it's good place to go-only if you have a good group of friends that are there.

i went this saturday night and didn't have any of the problems other people mentioned... we showed up early (before 9), and the place was pretty much empty - a great way to start a night with friends.

at $4.50 per round (gin & soda for me, beer for the husband), we could afford several rounds to help make the evening entertaining. and, we had friends meet us, and enjoyed all the games: shuffleboard, pool, and buck hunter. good times =)

Nice bartender and parking is in the back. You can walk in through the back door. This place isn't bad but I wish they had pitchers. I can look past the pitchers if the environment was something different and unique but it's really not. It's a chill place but I would much rather move on to other spots. It's not a bad place and may be worth a try but it was just not for me.

So this place is pretty legit on the weekends.  Full of the college scene though which I find ironic considering all the bar tenders are old as fuck.  They do give a decent pour though.  They don't seem to be on top of it as far as rushing or caring goes and I can't say I don't blame em.  Love the fact that they have Anchor Steam on tap!  They have a pool table, a decent JukeBox, and a long well stocked bar.  Out back there is a place to smoke with a roof for when it rains and there are a few parking spaces there as well.  There is a nice place next door to grab a tasty wiener on the way out.  Also, I don't recommend trying to park in the Post Office lot.  They also have the stupid $10 credit minimum too.  It really pisses me off to hear that when I hand a bar tender a credit card.  No real places to lock up the bike safely here.  Taxis do frequent this spot late night on the weekends which is nice.  Overall a decent bar.

Sorry i ventured in to this place , will not happen again.
I really need to check things out BEFORE i bring the wife along.
When i walk into a bar i do not mind it smelling like a bar , however when its the carpet reeks of fowl stench ,I'm outta here.....

Came here on 2nd Saturday with a bunch of friends.

First off, it's not really a club, just a bar.

The place is pretty small and can get really crowded.
Girls bathroom is pathetic. Only one stall and very small at that.

There's a juke box to play songs on, a shuffle board table,
and another table that I heard they supposedly play beer pong on,
but I didn't see them play that night I went.

Great thing about this place is their drinks.
Drinks are ridiculously cheap.
$5 bombs and $7 Patron shots.
Can't get any better than that.
Especially since the portions are pretty big.

I only gave this place 3 stars because although the drinks here are cheap and they have a lot of cool activities, I kinda didn't like the atmosphere all that well. I'm pretty cool with all the college kids, but there were some older folks here who I guess come to the bar often, and have been going here for a long time, and they kinda give you an attitude when you walk in. As if you're walking into their bar, and you shouldn't be.

Another thing that annoyed me was that fact that since my boyfriend and I weren't white, we kinda got more stares because of it. My boyfriend even go shoved for supposedly saying something to some old dude, which wasn't even true.

I guess that you can never take out the stubbornness of  people who aren't used to what they usually see. I don't know if I'd want to go back, especially after the experience we had.

I absolutely love this place! I agree with Sarah- 2me is definitely the Cheers of Sacramento. Every time I have gone, I always run into a familiar face and have a blast catching up.

It's usually a mixture of college kids and then an older group of clientele who probably frequented this place back when they were in college. It gets pretty crowded around midnight on the weekends though so I wouldn't go if you aren't looking for a party atmosphere.

All in all it's a fun dive bar. Cheap strong drinks with generally friendly people looking to have a good time.

Now for the kids at sac state , this place is great, just right down the street!
Ya first walk in you can smell the carpet, the drinking kids wont care,
now depending on the time of day ordering ANY kind of drink could prove interesting.
When the the wife and i went in this DIVE ,the bartender(and i use the word loosely)gave me a look like he was pissed that he had to move!!!
Avoid ,you will be the better for it.
chargens is ONLY 200 yards east......Thank god.

Club 2me is sort of like the Cheers of Sacramento where every time you go you'll find someone you know! (and if not, you'll leave thinking you did!!)

"Sometimes you wanna go, where everybody knows your name! And they're always glad you came!"

I don't think I've ever gone here and not had an extremely fun time or at least created a new inside joke to tell for the rest of my life ha ha. Club 2me, is not a club at all, so don't let the name fool you, but it is a fabulous little dive bar that is always open for business and always brings in a social young crowd on thursday-sundays. Their drinks are CHEAP and the bartender is always there to serve you. They have a jukebox you pay to play your fav songs so you can tell when people get a little tipsy and start choosing songs like the grease soundtrack or other random titles like that, and of course their pool table and shuffle board table complete the space.

This is a great dive bar in Sac..if you come in here early or during the week before it fills up with Sac State kids. Its a dive w/ cheap beers so what do you really expect...

We came in here after one of the Concerts in the park on our bikes - it was starting to fill up with the college kids.

One kid came in and asked the bartender if he could have the "The Banquet Beer". The bartender who was bit older just looked at him and said what the hell are you talking about. Finally the kid asked for a Coors. I was with about a group of 8 friends and we were all laughing at the douche..... You could tell he was just 21 and he loved the taste of Coors! (little does he know about all the good beers in the world)

They are also open on Thanksgiving morning when they do the Run To Feed the Hungry! People stand outside w/ beer and cheer all the runners on! Right on...  Next year I think I will be a beer drinker instead of a runner!

One of my favorite afternoon joints in the area. The bartender is a stand-up guy and will learn you a thing or two about the ins and outs of the greater 916, including where to find the best after hours chinese triad mah-jong game.

The pool table is 50 cents and hasnt been sat/spilled on enough times to make it unplayable, (see the Old Tavern or anywhere in San Francisco).

On certain evenings, the Sac State Chad and Tiff crew shows up and its butts-to-nuts tit jobs and white caps, but that's most of Sacramento so its hardly worth complaining about.

My only gripe is the barman never cuts me a deal. Hey, if I've been in there all day paying your kids' tuition, let's make that next Old Crow on the arm, bro!

EDIT: Last night, the barman comped me and my old lady a free shot. This place is fully legit.

Rediscovered this place during a Yelp meetup and realized it met all the necessary criteria: shuffleboard, pool table, Golden Tee, long bar, good mix of bar patrons including college girls in tight pantalones.

The pool table was only 50 cents per game!  Be forewarned that you cannot find cue chalk anywhere in this bar (although hand chalk is available).  We were lucky enough that another patron brought his own and let us borrow.  The pool cues are kind of crusty and in need of chalking fairly often.

The bartender here was cool.  He replaced a glass of wine that had "turned" with a mixed drink and didn't charge.  He acknowledged when I tipped him heftily, and refilled my ice water without asking when I was nearing time to leave.

All in all a positive weeknight bar experience.  However this place can get awfully rowdy as part of the Crazy Hat Pub Crawl.  I've seen the bartenders demand "cash only" during that onslaught (which is why I'm still unclear as to whether they accept credit cards here).

Like some of the honeys at Club 2-Me, parking can get a little tight in the rear.

A solid dive.

Cheapish beer, shuffleboard, pool table, dart board.

"Big game hunter" video game where one shoots at bucks with a shotgun. (uhh... you don't hunt with a shotgun, but whatever)

A very basic divey dive bar.

Not much to say... but a good place to go get away if you're tired of the grid for a night.

A decent place to bring a few of your own friends.

With drinks as strong as the ones served here it's no wonder the make out sessions started in the bar.  If you're looking to see drunk college-ish kids grind and grope to crappy music, then Saturday night at midnight is your best bet.

The drinks were almost too strong to ingest.  I ordered a whisky and sprite and it was about 6 parts whisky to one part mix in a glass the size of a thimble.  This was the first time EVER that I didn't finish a drink. [ok, ok, it was only because Brad "suggested" I not finish it]

If you're looking to get drunk and hook up with a creep, check out Club 2 Me.

I was just at Club 2-Me for the first time in 20+ years with 6 other guys I grew up with in the neighborhood. We came up with the owners of the place (the Muir's) and I was absolutely STOKED that our bartender, Chris was working there as he is another guy from the 'hood who came up with us! (extra bonus points if you know his nickname from his days with us at El Dorado elementary from down the street 2 blocks).

The place is pretty much how I remember it all those years ago... 'cept  now most of us are balder than the cue ball on the pool table.

I was also AMAZED at how little I paid for a round of Fat Tire Ales and a couple of shots of good tequila. (I've been living the bay area for the past 30 years and I would of paid twice as much down here)!

2-Me is a great neighborhood bar. It's in the tradition of any neighborhood bar from anywhere in the country. I read some of the more 'negative-inclined' reviews and if you're looking for high-priced drinks, and a plastic environment then go to a Friday's or Applebee's.

Here it's strong drinks, loud atmosphere, funky bathroom...wow, it's a f*%king bar!!!!

2-Me has the funky feel and S-O-U-L, cheap, good drinks and a traditional neighborhood bar atmosphere.

I'll be back next year with the fellas.
East Sac Rules!

This place is so sweet.

I love that you can walk back and forth from here and Chargins and manage to know someone at either place.  Had the best time here for St Patrick's day this year, the patio was way fun and a nice relief from the overly packed bar.

A good little dive to either start or end your night.

This place is not to shabby I would have to say.  I always end up seeing someone I know here, and its usually someone I like or think is cool, which is a good thing.  Because I can think of a few places I go to where I see people I know that I don't want to see.
Club 2 me is your typical hole in the wall bar.  I usually save this place for all the holidays like thanksgiving, Christmas eve (yes people go to bars on Christmas eve), and bes of all St. Patrick's days.  This place gets pretty crowded on the holidays and I have even been here before when they have ran out of beer?  I didn't know that could happen, but thats how crazy this place gets.  Plus it is right next to chagrins so you can walk from here to chargins in like 5 minutes.

It's tiny. It's crowded. You can almost never use a card and the ATM is busted often. No drinks outside. Only one pool table. A lot of tough man toast floating around. Shuffle board is cool. The only bar close is the exact same as 2me.

Revisited the 2-Me after a several-year hiatus.  We were there on a Saturday afternoon, and it was fine.  Beer, cheap, restroom clean.  I would heed the other reviewer's advice though, and if you want to avoid the collegiate alcoholic crowd, skip the weekend nights.  I also distinctly remember a lot of vomiting happening late at night, by drunken morons who perhaps had one-too-many Jager shots.
