So I have two main coffee places now, in my new adult life. I can only manage this because I only go to the one near my house once a week and my coworker pays for my lattes at Cloud Cliff. Sometimes life is pretty awesome. Apparently, this is a big hangout for Gene Hackman, although I've never seen him, and it is easy to see why: friendly baristas, /gorgeous/ baked goods and stellar freshly-made bread every day. Full meals too, although I haven't had a chance to sit down for one yet. A little heavy on the latte foam sometimes, but they were giving out free samples of pie the day before Thanksgiving and I can't judge them negatively for anything now.

Great flour. Get a bag to take home. This is a great place for breakfast and hanging out.

We went to Cloud Cliff this morning for breakfast and had a delicious meal. I had the breakfast sandwich, a yummy buttermilk biscuit toasted with 3 eggs and a fresh tomato slice. It came with crunchy home fries that had been seasoned with rosemary. It is by far the best breakfast sandwich I have had anywhere. Chris ordered the pumpkin french toast with fig butter. It was a breakfast special and as always I stole a bite, okay maybe more than one. It was very good. The service was courteous and speedy. Another plus was that they had ample parking. On the way out we bought two spinach and feta croissants and an onion and garlic ciabatta loaf for a late night snack.

Mmm. Breakfast food at it's finest. Eat something warm to start the day and pick up a cookie on the way out. This was my favorite place in Santa FE. Yummy menu, nice atmosphere, outside of the hustle and bustle of down town.

Apparently it closed in April?? I'm bummed, we tried to go there for breakfast this morning since we're here on a road trip. Too bad!! I was looking forward to returning.
