After having a bad experience with a previous pediatrician when my daughter was 2 months old, I changed doctors to Dr. Closs-Brewer.

Finding her stemmed from an article I read in Parenting magazine which talked about how many pediatricians don't recertify with the American Board of Pediatrics after their initial graduation from med school. I used the search engine of their site to find doctors in my area, and Dr. Closs-Brewer came up.

My first visit with her was great! She took up the entire scheduled hour with me; unlike our first doctor, who was inching out the door as soon as he took my baby's vitals. Dr. Closs-Brewer also takes time out of every visit to make sure that all my questions are answered (she actually asks, "do you have any questions for me?"). Also, she's very comfortable with parent input in hot areas like vaccinations (we have an alternative vaccine schedule and she's totally hip to it) and is informed with all the top research (she helped us through the whole pthalate fears).

In my opinion, if you need a pediatrician, Dr. Closs-Brewer is for you (and your baby)!
