I wish I could give this place 50 stars.

I'm Swedish.  My first pair of shoes were clogs.  I am a clog fan, I don't care if they are in fashion or not.

What people don't realize about clogs is that they are actually therapeutic for your feet.  There is a reason chefs and nurses depend on them.  If you are on your feet all day, clogs can make a huge difference in how your feet, legs, and spine feel.

    obviously, I'm a believer.

When I moved to L.A. 6 years ago, I hadn't had clogs since I was probably 12 or so.  When I saw the Clog Master ad in the paper, I got really excited.  They custom fit every pair of clogs to your size and width.

When you first go in, you will be greeted and measured.  You will then be given try-ons in basic black (these are also for sale, the only clogs they have for immediate purchase are the black ones.)   They will feel different from regular shoes, you have to break them in, but it's worth it, believe me!

THEN, the hard work begins, you look at the samples on the wall, check the swatches of leathers, look through the idea book.  Mix and match details to get the perfect pair for you.

They have thousands of combinations you can sort through to get the perfect clogs for you.  Metallics, suedes, jewel tones, pastels, black, patent, etc. etc. etc.  It usually takes me about 30 minutes to decide what I want.

Place your order and pay, and in about two weeks, you'll get the call to pick up your new babies.  They run about $100-$125 a pair, but these are custom made.  You can't beat it.  Also, if you have problems, they will help you fix your shoes up long after you bought them.

I just uploaded a photo of my new clogs, as well as my first baby pair.

    I know you are jealous

My feet are killing me.  I have had these clogs for a while now and I feel as if I'm in a torture device every time I wear them.  I was told to wear them without sock, with socks after I have steamed the shoe, etc etc.  I eventually went out and got a pair of Danskos and the difference is incredible. I am going out now to see if I can get these $125 pair of clogs stretched.

They're not for me.  A friend of mine has had the identical problem.  And yet I know people who swear by them. Maybe it's my foot, who knows?

Clogmaster has moved!  The store is now located in Portland, Oregon.  I'm sad, but at least I can call still the store and place a phone order.  Now, I have one more reason to plan a shopping trip to Portland!

This is the only store that custom fits and custom makes clogs in the US!  I love this store because besides healing all my foot pain/back problems I have had so much fun designing clogs.  I have more pairs than I care to mention and I plan to keep buying!  (I'm spoiled and have gotten used to comfortable shoes in styles and colors I design!).  For first timers, getting fit is easy it takes about five minutes and the store will keep your fit on file.  The hardest part of the experience is choosing which style/color you want!  Prices are very reasonable, I believe shoes begin at about $100 and go up based on the style and customizations you choose.  They are pretty much the only shoes I wear!

I am also in line to give Clogmaster fifty stars if I could. I have been wearing their clogs for over 15 years, and they are so wonderful.  I just ordered a cherry red pair with leaf cut-outs on the top.  It took me a few shifts in my sizing over the years to find what I liked best--ended up ordering a size larger top because I like them flopping like Danskos.  Oh, I love this place.  I've sinced moved to northern California, and all I have to do is make a call, they pull up my file and I place my order!  Love it!!
