Clemmons is a "village" in Western Forsyth County. It's where I live, so you know it's gotta be good! The schools are great, and it's extremely convenient to Winston Salem. It's starting to grow with more chain restaurants coming to town like Cracker Barrell, Applebees, iHOP, Panera Bread, Starbucks and others. There's plenty of great local flavor as well like JB's, Bagels & Brew, and Little Richards. We also have one of the best parks in the state, Tanglewood Park where there is great golf, swimming, hiking, Christmas lights, and the NC Wine Festival. We've been here 11 years and have enjoyed every minute of it.

Clemmons is a relatively small town when compared to nearby cities. Winston Salem is just a few miles east and Statesville to the west. But it is slowly losing it's tranquility. There is one main "strip" through town that is expanding east towards Lewisville. You got your Holiday Inns and your Cracker Barrels, basically everything you'd find on an interstate but what makes Clemmons nice is that it acts like a small town. And I think most locals refuse to accept change or growth. Yes maam, no sir is what you get here whether you are shopping for groceries or being cited for speeding. We had a nice little tornado last year that seemed to tighten the community a bit. I don't live in the town proper but work here so I call Clemmons home. And I am proud to do it.
