Hai Ho does a great job with alterations and dry cleaning. I just moved to the area this year and starting to use him more and more.
I am one of those people who will send the same amount of clothes to a couple of dry cleaners to price/quality check them then check my 2nd trip with them to make sure the prices are not all over the place.
If I find you are good at what you do I will recommend and use you then become a loyal customer.
Interesting how others have negative reviews based on bad experiences so hopefully I can keep my experiences in the 4 star arena.
Only time will tell. Karma should never be used if you give bad service. Karma keeps your business open or closes it if you are not servicing people well. Just my thoughts. -

I cannot believe that the OWNER of this business sent me a message accusing me of being a competitor and trying to make his business look bad on purpose.
I am giving my review of a phone call conversation that I had with an employee at this establishment.
It is resucilous to be ACCUSED by the owner of anything. My 1 star review still stands, even more so justified by the treatment given to melton the owner of this business. He never even asked what he could do to write the wrong or to improve the service of his business.

TERRIBLE, I dropped off my laundry and they absolutely ruined three shirts. What's worst is the store did not say a word when I picked up the clothes but I find a note when I got home.
I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy...... -

Ruined a very expensive hand made italian shirt. Granted, the pressing and packaging was nice and should be similar everwhere. I'm from out of town and needed a couple of shirts pressed for an interview since suitcases don't keep clothes wrinkle free. Dress to impress I say!
I asked my friend to bring them to a local place that could do a good job and quickly. They brought it to a new place she encountered on the way to BART and would drop them off on the way to work.
I should have taken a little more time and looked around more.
To summarize, I had to pay in advance (pay my friend back). WTF??? Really??? When I got my shirts back 4 days later, good thing I had time, my expensive ($250) shirt had a button that disentegrated (shell fish buttons, delicate). Some odd light stains that were not there before, set into the fabric. It was so bad I needed to buy another shirt. Good thing there is a Nordstroms in SF. This time I had Nordstroms press the shirts.
I won't bother going to them ever and chalk it up as a lesson learned. As for getting the ruined shirt paid for, I think my time is better spent on less aggravating things.Comment from Hai-Ho T. of Classique Dry Cleaners 7/29/2011

Being new to the area, I went here once hoping to find a new dry cleaner but, unfortunately, I am still looking. Here are the reason's I'm not going back to Classique:
1) Rather expensive for a dry cleaner. I paid $18 for 6 mens shirts. For that price I expect the service to be top notch but that wasn't the case.
2) They made me pay up front when I dropped the clothes off. Who does that?? With other dry cleaners I always pay when I pick up the clothes. At least that way if you have any issues you have some recourse.
3) They're slow. I took the shirts in on a Thursday and they said they'd be ready the following Wed. I don't want to have to wait a week to pick up my cleaning. When I said I needed the shirts sooner than that we settled on a Saturday pick-up which was more reasonable.
4) The biggest deal breaker was the quality of the cleaning. I pointed out a coffee stain on one of the shirts when I dropped it off. I noticed that the guy didn't put a pin or any tape by the stain but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and didn't say anything further (maybe he has a good memory?). When I went to pick up the shirts the stain was still there. Only now the stain was baked in. Not good. He offered to clean the shirt a 2nd time but the stain still didn't come out. I've had cleaners before who could easily get rid of coffee stains the first time around. I think he just didn't pay attention.
5. They crushed a mother of pearl button on my husband's fancy Italian shirt. He didn't notice until he was putting on the shirt on and the button crumbled into bits.
Back on the hunt for a better cleaner. . . -

finding a good dry cleaners is like finding a good mechanic...hard to find (ok, good mechanic, slightly harder to find). but thanks to these yelpsters, i found this great place. closer to my home than this other one i was going to and they do an excellent job each and every time!the only negative is that they don't have a price list but i trust they are not trying to be the typical asian.
would love to try getting my tailoring done here but can't seem to part w/ paris tailor (los altos) - they do an awesome job!

I didn't think i would be reviewing a dry cleaners, but here i am. I found Classique after searching for a place that would hem my jeans to that oh so perfect fit. Hai Ho's place was it. He's friendly and also a pretty good photographer! (go figure).
anyway, so this is the place for your laundry needs! the price is slightly higher than this other place i used to go to... the other place didn't tailor like Classique does and they also stained my clothes!
Only drawback thus far, i sent my bf to drop off dry cleaning and it was kind of hard to explain to him how to find the place, but that just may be my fault and not the cleaners or my bf's... lol. -

I brought my slacks in here to get cleaned. It was a simple service and I also asked if they can expedite it. USUALLY cleaners charge you an extra $1-$2 but not this place! Either she was being nice to me or that's how it is here... either way, HOOKED UP!
When I picked it up two days later, slacks were clean and pressed nicely. -

I started going to this dry cleaners when I was living and working in Fremont, and although I am not living or working as close to this place anymore, I still go back for all my dry cleaning needs. As Shannon said below, they do wrap and hang the clothes very nicely, more so than most other dry cleaning places I've been to - I definitely think they have high quality service.
The first time I went, I had borrowed my brother's girlfriend's dress to wear for new years. She actually had some old stains on it (not too noticeable, but since I was being extra careful, I scanned the whole dress prior to wearing it), and I also spilled a few drops of my champagne on to the dress (It was New Years... it had to happen at some point in the celebratory night!). Anyway, I brought the dress in, and when I came to pick it up, all small stains were removed. Awesome!
The guy in front is always super nice and welcomes me when I come in. I've never had a bad experience, and they do a top notch job with my clothes, and my order is always ready when it is supposed to be. I'm probably going to be trying their alterations next time, so I'll be editing this review later on... hopefully they do just a good job with alterations as their cleaning! -

I had shoes resoled on the heel, that was done ., but when I put them on the next day I noticed that the clasp was broken therefore the shoes could not be worn. I brought them back the next day, he said they did nothing the clasp was already broken. Would I have spend $16.00 to have the heels resoled if I could not wear the shoes? We have a business and we would have taken care of something like this, because we think the customer is always right, and would consider this good advertising.

On couple of occasions, i have found them to be very unprofessional and the cloths surely not cleaned upto expctations. You can surely get better pricing and service somewhere else in Fremont

Very nice customer service and cleaning as well.. Gave very delicate clothes with very hard stains to remove.. They took care of the clothes and did a remarkable job.. Kudos!!

This is a nice place. The biggest difference is that once your clothes are done, they wrap it in some fancy, sealed plastic... you don't just get it with some plastic thrown over it. The guy is pretty nice. The front of the dry cleaners has some jewelry & even clothing on sale (I think it's from people who didn't pick up their stuff?). Anyhow, I made sure I picked up my item on time in fear that it would be put on sale.

i was home at the parentals and needed to get some work clothes dry cleaned (suit, winter coat, and blouses). since i was not familiar with dry cleaners in the area, i decided to read some reviews online to find the best one. i didn't care if i had to pay a little extra. getting business formal clothes cleaned and pressed is not something i like to skimp on.
i finally chose classique dry cleaners based on their stellar reviews. there were several other dry cleaners closer to me, but i thought wouldn't mind driving 20 minutes each way if it meant my clothes came out nicely done. boy, was i wrong! the man told me my clothes would be ready in the morning in two days. so after two days, i went in that morning but he couldn't find my clothes. he told me they must've not been cleaned yet and they'd be ready in the afternoon. so i drove home empty-handed. i went to pick them up again in the afternoon because i needed the clothes for the following day. they were ready this time, but when i got home with my dry cleaned clothes, i realized the only button on my suit jacket was missing! i called the guy to see if he could find it since it wasn't just a regular old button (it was jeweled purple one). he said he couldn't but promised to help me sew something on if i came into the store again. YOU MEAN, I HAVE TO COME INTO THE STORE FOR THE FOURTH TIME? i had no choice but to do so because i needed to wear the suit the next day. of course all he had that matched was a regular old navy blue button (circular and flat... you know)...nothing like what i originally had.
bottom line, this place is awful because:
- i made twice as many trips to the place as i should've.
- i lost the only nice button i have on any of my clothes.
- i still paid their premium price for it not being a hole-in-the-wall dry cleaning place.
oh, life. -

Environmentally friendly and staff is very nice. Good job on alterations. The price is a little more then other cleaners, but thats what you have to pay to get excellent results and be good to the planet.
