Neighborhood: South ParkQuite possibly the cutest store I've ever been to. Although, if you have allergies (like my husband) stay far, far away. The owner is super friendly, their selection of soaps and candles is fantastic and decently priced and you're likely to go in for a candle and end up walking out with some random antique teapot.
The owner does the most fantastic gift-wrapping I've ever seen. I love this store.
I was looking for Cabernet wine candle and found it here. I'm so happy with the way the lady at the store wrapped it, I should have taken a picture. Very cute shop.
The best place for inexpensive, quality candles.
They will offer to wrap your purchases in a a gift basket for no extra charge. The staff is friendly and the place is small and full of fun things.
Always worth a visit.

Charming candle and soap shop in South Park. The place is tiny and the sweet scent in the place renders your olfactory system useless in 3 seconds. But it'll charm the pants off just about anyone. I bought some tea there, my friend a small candle holder and my bf a tea light. There was something for everyone.

Do not bring a big purse to this store, as it is teeny tiny--I was terrified that I would knock over something expensive, but the owners (who were rearranging the store for the holidays) knocked over a few candles before I could, which made me feel better :)
The candles smell amazing, and come in fun scents (like sugar cookie, chardonnay, and I think it might have been cabernet?) as well as the usual scents (lavender, juniper, cucumber melon). They also come in fun shapes, like hearts and stars.
The staff was super-friendly and helpful, and I almost forgot the best part: they carry Revolution Teas!

Small yet sweet and smells oh so good. Just what the candle lover needs to visit.
I can't say enough about this wonderful shop in this charming South Park neighborhood.
This is a great place buy a gift or someone else that you'd like to pamper and to help her (him?) enjoy the simple beauty of living.
My very favorite, and their best selling item, is the Oatmeal Lavender soap. As with all of their items, it is homemade. The scent is out of this world, and washing with it is like washing with a slice of heaven!
This is one of the nicest and most affordable gifts that I can think of!
However, if your budget allows, and your generous heart compels you, why not get a gift basket.
Peggy, the owner, will personally arrange the gift basket for you for absolutely no extra charge-- not even for the basket! (You pay only for the items which you have selected.)
As if that weren't enough, they are environmentally-friendly. They take customers recycled (i.e., melted) wax to make new candles out of!
Friendly, beautiful place, and a pleasure to shop there!

South Park is my favorite neighborhood in San Diego. I can't imagine life without it now! There's Rebecca's, Daily Scoop, couple of boutiques, etc. Anyway, Clarity is a fun little place with great gifts for the women in your family (or friends who are basically like family). They have soaps, lotions, bath products, oils, and candles. If I had a bathtub, or money, I'd buy all the magical wonders in the store. Everything is unique and special. I'd adore anything from this place! The owners will wrap everything for you, for free. They can even prepare gift baskets for you if you need something made. Try to sugar scrub!

Clarity is a great little shop and a real asset to this up-and-coming neighborhood. They offer all sorts of homemade candles and soaps, oils, and other great gifts.
OK, I'll be very politically incorrect here 'cause I'm the only male so far to post a review and someone has to say it: Clarity is the perfect place for men to buy gifts for women and have them wrapped beautifully by the nice ladies who run the shop. Hell, I could spend a week trying to wrap a gift as skillfully and artfully as they do it in three minutes, and it would still look like it was "wrapped" by a baboon. Clarity has a very feminine atmosphere, and they always help me put together great gifts for the women in my life. They offer good advice to a guy for whom bubble bath and facial cream and essential oils are a complete and total mystery.
I always get compliments on the gifts (and gift baskets) that Clarity puts together for me. This little shop is a gem.
Another charming little shop in South Park with things you may not need, but probably want. They make their own scented candles for Clarity, and the variety of scents is available in several sizes including traditional pillars, and fun stars. Of course there is a selection of holders, from glass trays to iron hangings, to vintage tin boxes. On one wall of this tiny shop, you will find essential oils, bath and body products, even handmade baby ponchos! The candle prices are reasonable, and reason enough to check this place out.
