Comfortable, clean, quiet. Super comfy beds, large, up to date room, 100% non smoking, good wifi.. Indoor swimming pool is nice. Staff were very friendly. This is a good location and an easy walk to Old Town, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. Overall, an excellent experience.
I do think that nearly $100 for two queens (after discount) midweek in Eureka is kind of high. You may be paying for those mini meals that they serve but you may not be eating.

For Eureka this hotel looked liked the nicest. We stayed here on account of the Yelp reviews but I think the fact that the Clarion is right on HWY 101 was left out. The noise was reallllllyyy hard to get past while trying to fall asleep. The room itself was pretty much clean and the people at the front desk were very nice both times when checking in and checking out.
The bathroom is tiny and the shower was kind of weird turning on.
The breakfast included waffles which is semi fun and much better than most continental breakfasts that are included but I can't bring myself to give this hotel more than 3 stars, it's just not anything above...is anything in Eureka?
We started coming to this location when my son attended school in the location. Although it ended up being the location farthest from his school, it became our favorite spot.
The location is conveniently located on Hwy 101 southbound at the very north end of town. There are 3 parking lots at the 1 block square location, but once you get the "lay of the land," it isn't difficult to sort out.
The management keeps this hotel spotless and the service has always been warm and friendly. Some of the rooms are inside and some our located with outside corridors.
I tell you, they could build the Taj Majal in town and give the rooms for free, but honey bunnie would want to come to the Clarion for their extended Continental Breakfast and their afternoon "mini meal."
Breakfast includes "make your own" Belgian Waffles, hard boiled eggs, assorted breads and toast, sausage links, country gravy, biscuits, fruit, hot and cold cereal, etc. etc.
Become a member of the Quality Inn Hotel Chain and you will rack up free nights before you know it.

This was a nice, clean hotel in one of the better neighborhoods of Eureka. I was greated by a friendly front desk clerk and we were assigned to a nice, quiet room with a refrigerator and microwave in it. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. They have two computers with internet connections in the lobby, or if you bring your own computer they had WiFi. The breakfast room was bright and airy but was crowded. They had a good extended breakfast with make your own waffles, sausage, boiled eggs, biscuits with gravy, etc... If I am in the area I would definitely stay again.
