The food was excellent. If you are a vegan or vegetarian, it is a great place to eat. They have lots of tofu options. I recommend the Impossible burger and hush puppies. The hush puppies are house made and delicious.

Also get the key lime vinaigrette if you get a salad.

Got the shrimp and scallops skewers. Both were over cooked, chewy and bland, the rice was dry and crunchy. Hush puppies were good. Service was good. Not worth the price. I barely ate half of my meal.

Celebrated my birthday here on Saturday night. The staff is fabulous and the food is amazing. We had fried pickles, peel and eat shrimp, and hush puppies for an appetizer. The Beach-a-rito and shrimp tacos for dinner were delicious! This is one of our favorite restaurants.

Moving from Florida to Virginia 4 years ago, it's been hard finding a place that reminds me of home. Clare and Don's hits the nail on the head with their immense menu full of delicious, comfort seafood dishes and a relaxing and fun atmosphere. I came here on a Thursday and there was great live music, tons of seating inside and outside. The prices for food was extremely affordable and every food item was plated to the max! I ordered the coconut shrimp basket with shrimp and coleslaw, the food was so good and there was so much I couldn't even finish! Something I haven't experienced in any restaurant around this area in a very long time. We ordered hush puppies, and guacamole with chips for appetizers which were also plentiful and delicious. The drink choices were endless, I ordered sangria and a pomegranate margarita which were both very good. I look forward to coming here again

I like this place a lot. It is nice to have a drink on a warm afternoon post work or a tasty lunch. We have called and requested items not on the menu and they happily make them for us. LOVE THE HUSH PUPPIES, fried clams and nachos.
      The service is impeccable.

This is by far the best place to go to in Falls Church. I am a loyal customer and lover of the hush puppies here. It has everything you need, great atmosphere, great food and great customer service. I recommend and if I could rate it more than 5 stars I would.

Our first time visiting this restaurant and since COVID is the routine I'll try to be understanding.

      1) Outdoor only seating isn't going to work much longer due to the weather changing.
      2) Taking away part of the already TINY parking lot for more outdoor seating isn't any help.
      3) the traffic noise (which you can't control) is awful if you're seated out near the front
      4) having a table RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TRASHCANS is disgusting and VERY UNSANITARY (and wouldn't you know that's where we were seated).
      5) even though there were only three other tables sat, it took over five minutes for someone to come and acknowledge that we were there and waiting to place our order! And on top of that, he took our drink and appetizer order plus my entree but walked away before my husband could order. We had to call the guy back as he walked away.

The onion rings were probably the best thing about our meal. They were delicious and fried to perfection. Other than not having ranch dressing as a dipping sauce for the rings they truly were the best part of our meal.

My beer battered shrimp was tasty but.....not removing the gross "poop veins" is distasteful! And all 8 shrimp still had most of the "legs" attached. How your kitchen staff managed to get the shrimp out of the shell but not clean the shrimp and leaving the legs attached is pretty darned lazy. I substituted hush puppies instead of french fries and I was disappointed. I do not like corn in my hush puppies. Hush puppies are supposed to made of cornmeal and don't need whole pieces of corn inside them! My husband was not fond of them either. His french fries however were very good and I know not to waste money on the up-charge from fries to hush puppies. Hubby ordered the fish and chips and said it was pretty good but he'd probably try something else if we return.

It was good. I had the shrimp and onion rings. What surprised me was how fast I got my food considering how packed it was. It was really fast and piping hot. How often do you get it hot? I'll pass on the hush puppies next time. They were tiny and half soaked in oil.
