Since my boyfriend had to work two of the days that I was there visiting him he got me an early birthday present - a massage and facial at CJ's Hair Salon & Day Spa.

My facial was first with Jenny.  She was quite sweet and explained everything that she was doing since this was my first facial.  She was very professional and created a really relaxing atmosphere.  We have similar skin types so she even recommended a few products that had worked for her.

Following my facial I changed rooms to have my massage with Sara.  She gave me a great message in a very calming environment.  I didn't want it to end.  I felt extremely relaxed during the entire session which is rare for me because I'm not overly keen on being touched.

The final touch of a bottle of cool water after the massage was perfect.  

At the moment the salon and spa is having a special where first time customers can get 1/2 priced massages which is a great deal!

My boyfriend also gets his hair cut here and is really happy with their salon services.

So I scheduled a massage after I read the 2007 review.  I knew I was taking a risk and it's a good thing they have a sale where you pay half price if it's your first time there.  The room where they give massages is right next to the salon and there was a wedding party there that day.  The walls are so thin I could hear everything they were merrily discussing. .. "I've always  wanted lash extensions!"  "Oh My Gosh!" etc.  When I walked up to the cashier wouldn't you know it, the whole wedding party was up there trying to figure out they're payment arrangements and the two people behind the counter acted like they had never dealt with anything like that before....  it took me forever to get out of there.  I can't comment on the salon services, but as far as the spa section I won't waste my time there again.
