Located at the former Azure spot at The Lenox Hotel.
First visit there so can't compare to Azure.
Nice decor and atmosphere. Nice drinks menu, though it was very SHORT on beers. However kudos to our waitress who ran over to Solas and fetched us beers from there. Given the number of cocktails, martini's and wines offered on the drinks menu, the beer list was woefully inadequate.
The food we had was good, serving sizes ok, and price wasn't bad at all !!
Waitress other than running beers from Solas was a little inattentive and it wasn't that busy in there to warrant that.
Not sure what was up with the classical music playing and the black&white movie on the TV at the bar, but later the Bruins game was being shown...that would've cost them a star...but redeemed...
The bar itself was small, too small I'd say, and packed the whole time.
If it were my place I'd consider lengthening the bar...
Dessert list looked good.
Overall, I will go back, but not in any rush, not sure why. Probably would be a good dinner date location !
Great food (duck prosciutto and fig pizza!), great drinks and great atmosphere.
Get there early on Friday nights to grab a seat at the bar, it fills up quickly.
Loved the atmosphere better this time around in comparison to when it was Azure. The food was great, we had the Duck Confit Spring Rolls for an appetizer, and then for entrees Harvest Pasta with Braised Shortrib and the Roasted Duck Breast.
The waiter was quite attentive in the very beginning but a little slow at the end when it came to receiving and paying for our check. All in all it was a great experience, very chill and relax which I enjoyed. I would definitely go back.
As a big fan of Azure, I was skeptical, but....I got over it quickly. Amazing friendly hostess and waitstaff, I arrive after work on a Friday and grabbed a table near the bar. Decor is similar to Azure, but the blue walls were replaced by brown, earthy tones. Gone is the private dining space, it is now one large dining area. Wine and cocktail list is awesone, great choices and prices. The menu is totally different, salad, app, entree and sandwich options, even half entree options. Prices are very reasonable. I loved my grilled veggie sandwich, as did my friends love there veggie risoto and sirloin burger. Dinner and a couple of rounds of drinks came to $93.00. We left around 9PM and the place was hopping. I love the Lenox, the smell, the roaring fireplace, so I can not wait to come back!!!!!!
Great food and cocktails. We had the fondue and the duck confit spring rolls. Yummy! I would say the food is just as good as Azure's was, and the atmosphere and space is better. I have only sat at the bar and had apps and cocktails, and I am not sure I would go there for dinner - the dishes looked a little too casual for the price. I am disappointed to see the blue cheese gnocci gone from the menu though :( I had dreams about that dish for a week!
