It's a bit weird reviewing a park but I was thinking about it today and felt the need to tell about its' greatness. What's also weird is that it has a phone number? Must be the pay phone by the bathrooms.
Anyways....I grew up in Appleton and this park was my escape. (like life was so tough but you know, when you're in the moment...) It has this beautiful fountain that was perfect to sit by in the summer. There were always families around, couples having a picnic, dog walkers, etc.
If you're in Appleton (you never know - crazier things have happened!!), take a swing by this park. Take a seat by the old oak and take it all in. It's a simple and beautiful place that I miss more and more each year.
