So many things remind me of a song. This one would be The Eagles' classic, Peaceful Easy Feeling. Oh, yeah, that's what I go here to find. I love hanging out here, even when it's not summertime. The beach, the walking trails, the scenery, it's all good. I've spent many a time pondering deep thoughts (i.e. will Marty Casey win Rock Star INXS? Will Marissa and Ryan work it out on the OC? And when, oh when, will Oprah ever once NOT be on the front cover of her own magazine??) Yes, life's deep questions can be answered at the Evanston Park District.

There is some beatiful parks and lakefront property that Evanston can boast about. There are also many parks and walking trails that go all the way from the lakefront to Dodge Ave. On my last visit I was checking out the lush greenery and lakefront property that can be found by Sheridan/Church St. near the boat launch area.

I love the Evanston parks and beaches. Walk with or without stroller, or ride your bike. The scenery is lovely. There are a couple private beaches you either join as a member or pay a fee as you visit - very clean and not terribly busy. Don't forget those awesome Fourth of July fireworks.
