What an awesome store! I first knew I wanted to check it out when we saw a display window on the way into the Fisher Building that pointed out exactly what some of their yarns are made of. Seriously, who even thinks of this stuff?
Once inside the store, there were tons of different colors and textures of yarns, beautifully displayed. I was also amused by all the buttons, including some that you can customize to say whatever you want. A little further back there was a large selection of books on knitting, and then a little work table just waiting for knitters in the back. My husband even noticed a loom upstairs - would that mean they make yarn too? I didn't want to look like a dork asking while there was a crowd in the store, but that's what it would look like to me.
Beautiful yarn shop; great lighting, soft wood shelving; a delight to the eye; Not sure I would drive from the 'burbs to visit, but a beautiful shop in a beautiful historical building. Ahhhhhh.
