We gave [agent] clear guidelines for a rental, including the price range, areas to live, and amenities to be included in the monthly rent.  Instead, he showed us apartments out of our price range and in areas where we told him that we did not want to live.  On one occasion, he showed us an apartment clearly out of our price range and when we said that we didn't want to see the next apartment (which happened to be in the same building and in an area we explicitly said we did not want to live) he got pissy and would not talk with us (I guess the dude had his feelings hurt).  We had to cajole him into talking again, which made the entire experience completely awkward.  The very last place, which also happened to be the only place [agent] showed us, matched all of our requirements.  So, we unfortunately went with this company and had to fork over a hefty realtor's fee to someone who did not do their job in a professional manner.  Additionally, [agent] reassured us that our apartment was clean and move-in ready.  We moved in late and nothing was done.  It was dirty and furniture from the previous tenant was still in the apartment.  Our move-in was so fun; thanks for your honesty and hard work City Central Realty - now can I get my realtor's fee back?!

When we were signing the papers to rent another couple was getting hammered by another real estate agent (the guy was actually yelling/lecturing at them) for not immediately signing with him.  The couple said they needed time to think and ultimately left.  You can't get any less professional as a company than talking about potential clients negatively in front of other clients.  The entire office went into a bashing session on the couple and it made us that much more irritated that we were signing papers with this company.  I would never go with City Central Realty, LLC again nor would I recommend them to anyone.  Instead, I would recommend going to Boston's Best Realty.  The owner and real estate agents were a joy to work with and knew all of the ins-and-outs of Boston (which City Central did not).  We visited Boston's Best too far in advance of our move date, so the apartments that we could have potentially moved into were not yet available for us to look at.  But they happily showed us other apartments around town to give us an idea of what they list and gave us tips to ensure a happy living experience in Boston.  Because of them, we figured out where we wanted to live, a realistic price range, and what amenities we should get in our rent.  This knowledge made it that much more apparent that City Central did not know what they were doing, since we did not get any useful information from them.  Had the last place City Central showed us not panned out, we would definitely be clients of Boston's Best.  So, don't go to City Central and instead go with Boston's Best Realty!

Peter is horrible. He is a horrible sales person that doesn't listen to what you want and just "yes's" you to get the sale. In our experience he put us in a dirty apt that he told us would be cleaned. We had to move because we had to place to go. He also cashed our deposit 60 days before we moved in... he's a snake!

we had a great realtor mike. he was very persistant and did everything he could to get us a place we liked and everything was in our price range. He also only showed us apts that had green line access because we told him we both need it for our jobs. He made himself very available to us at all hours. We sent an application in for our first choice but the landlord denied us because of poor credit. Mike offered to show us the rest of the apartments again (there was like 7 apartments btw) so we could make a different decision..He worked around our schedules and met with us as soon as me and my boyfriend had a day off from work together. within a few days we had an interview with our soon to be landlord who is also a good guy and we were approved for this awesome place in cleveland circle in walking distance of the B C and D lines. weve been living here for 2 months and the apartment kicks ass and im glad we got there help. yea biatch. :]
