Ditto to Nancy B. as well! I might have actually gone the same night that David K. did and I think he was being generous by saying it was 30% full.

I feel so sorry for all the performers because they are clearly talented, but this production was so...random.  That was the word that kept running through my head the whole time.

The story line was ridiculous if there even was one (what's up with the singing reporter? She could sing, but I couldn't make out a single word she was saying even though she sang the SAME tune the entire time! The sailors were so cliche that I was embarassed for them! And then there's the bathtub - wet-costume contest for the acrobat? Yuck. )

The staging was horrible, the background also so distracting that when the acrobats are performing, you can't even make them out properly. Their high-flying acts were lost even in mid air thanks to the background, and the poor lighting.

The only thing I enjoyed most was when they pulled audience members onto the stage to role play with the comic relief. How sad is that? The "random" act of picking audience members out of the crowd was the best part of the show.
