Last week I went to Ciros with my brother. He had been bragging about how great there Pizza was but he has steered me wrong before so I went in half expecting. In response to some of the other reviewers about the decor, yes it sucks but who frickin cares it is a pizza place.
We oredered the Mile High Pizza (I think that is what it is called) It did take about 25 minutes to come out, but when I saw It I knew why. It was pile with lots of stuff. Now this wasn't just stuff these topping were super high quality and fresh veggies..I have to say this was one of the best pies I have ever had in my life, and I have had a lot. The pizza chef came out and told us the history of the place (ask for yourself). He was really polite and you could tell he was passionate about what he does.
Upon leaving I met Rob, on of the owners. He was a great guy and loves making Pizza.. Go Here...Go Here..Go Here...you will not be dissapointed..

Terrible, filthy decor. The carpet looks disgusting, the wall paper is peeling. I was too scared to use their bathrooms. *shivers* Music was way too loud... I could hardly hear my husband across the table from me.
We were the only people there and we waited 30 minutes and still no pizza. I worked at a family owned pizza place when I was a kid... I know it only takes about 6 mins to cook a pizza. What's the holdup?
I had to go ask the girls at the front counter how much longer it would be. One went to the kitchen to check and brought the pizza right out to us. Barely warm, but delish.
Maybe next time we'll try takeout or delivery. -

Had the pizza the first time Halloween night. We ordered the family size pizza (24"). It's a pretty good pie but when it come to pizza I tend to love cheap pizza just because it's cheap. Ciro's pizza is a little pricey for my liking but it goes to a family pizza joint instead of the cooperate chains, so I don't mind as much. I would buy from them again.

I have getting pizza from Ciro's for many years. Moved to North Roseville 14 years ago and haven't been there much in those years. Was driving in that area last night and got my favorite. Pepperoni, Mushroom, Olive and Jalapeño. It was just as good as in the past. I am going to make a point to eat the best pizza around (in my opinion), more often. It will be an effort, about seven miles one-way. But its darn good pizza. I recommend it. Thanks Ciro's

This place used to be my favorite pizza. It's still pretty good, but it's not good enough for me to make any special trips, I feel like they have cheapened their product over the years maybe, or they are not training the staff how to make the pizza's well enough, I'm not sure what it is. Having said that, I'll go here if someone wants to, I just feel like it's overpriced and Way to inconsistent. I've had excellent pizza here, and I've had so so pizza here and when you get the so so, you're like wtf

This is some good pizza... just had it for lunch today. It's a little expensive but worth it. They delivered in a decent amount out time.

Great Big pizza with really good quality ingredients make this one of our favorite pizza joints. The mountain top got the best of all of us. We took the leftovers home in two boxes. Good customer service to boot. We have six in our group.

I grew up on this stuff from the one in Folsom but decided to pick one up here for the first time. As others say, they are expensive, but delicious.
However, service and speed lack greatly. I called the order in for a large and was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I arrived a half-hour later and, after waiting for about 3-4 minutes at the counter, I was told it would still be "a while." I ended up waiting an additional 35 minutes for my pizza. One lady in there before me was offered a soda while she waited. I wonder how long she was there since I wasn't offered one.
They also added .25 to my order for it being a takeout. This additional charge was nowhere on the coupons, but it was on the menu inside, so I couldn't argue too much. But .25??? Really??? Based on their prices, their margins are probably decent enough to not charge something like this.
Overall, some of the best pizza in the area.....but I'm afraid to go back since I might be forced to wait an hour for a 15" pizza.
***Update***
I sent an email to the Ciro's website and the following business day I had a reply awaiting me. He apologized and explained that there were several problems that they had experienced that day. He was very courteous and took care of us. Thanks! +1 star. -

Heard allot about this pizza restaurant but my experience was not something to write home about. The place is slow I mean how long does it take to throw a pizza?? Further, my "meat-lover's" pizza was "doughy" tasting and my whole pizza was undercooked (yuck)! They shouldn't attempt to make such a big (heavy) pizza if they don't know how to cook it right. Stick to one-item cuisine if you choose to go here for pizza. There are allot of expensive priced pizza establishment's that I can choose from next time I have a craving in Citrus Heights. I gave a 2 star for the variety of pizza when they are cooked properly. The salad bar is a "joke" and not appealing, very little item's to choose from (wahhh!).

Let's see last friday we show up to get a bite teh wife and I. We order a small pizza and some apps. We wait almost 45 minutes for the apps and almost and hour and a half for the pizza. The staff acted as if this was normal and no big deal. They also refused to refund part or all of our order as we came in around 6:15 and did not get our pizzza until 8:40!!!
I could understand if they were slammed. problem is during the time we were there 4 other in store customers, 3 take outs and 4 delivery orders say this place could have made a pizza in under 2 hours!
This place will never be greeted with my presence again. Service sadkly is something lacking in most of the Sacramento area -

This place is pretty good for chicago style pizza a little expensive but decent enough. Order with the coupons and it is worth the price!

I always enjoy dining here. It's very quaint, in that old part of Citrus Heights known as Sylvan Corners. The retro celebrity theme is a bit cheezy, but it works. The calzones are absolutely delicious, having all the flavor of their wonderful regular pizza but with the flaky calzone crust. The salad bar is also very good, with a wide variety of fresh choices. A pitcher of beer, a pizza/calzone, and salad: pure ecstasy!

We decided one Saturday afternoon to try this pizza joint out. We walked inside after finding a rare parking spot in the super tiny lot (that is shared with the Goodwill), and looked at the menu. We were not greeted right away, which was fine we needed time to look at the menu, and once we figured out what we were going to order we were helped promptly.
The place was very slow, it was about 2pm on a Saturday, there was only one other group of people a bunch of loud teens that were rather messy...they soon left after we arrived. We order the Ranch Strips to start, they were very tasty but not too ranch like and were better once dipped in ranch sauce. Our pizza arrived pipping hot, in fact a little too hot our first pieces all the toppings were sliding off, but the second pieces were better. We had the Bahama Mama pizza that had on it Salami, Italian Sausage, fresh mushrooms, pepperoni, red onions, black olives, bell peppers, and fresh garlic. It was one of their 15 specialty pizzas. It was a good pizza, I really liked the sauce it was a classic red sauce but it was seasoned great, not too chunky, and very tasty. We did end up taking some of our pizza home with us, it didn't last long there.
On the way out I grabbed one of their menus to file in our menu box and was pleased to find out that they deliver. I will be taking them up on delivery soon! -

This is some good pizza. You simply must have a calzone with white garlic sauce. They're amazing.

Delicious pizzas and calzones food does take a while but well worth the wait. Not cheap but you can taste the quality in every bite! My fav pizza place not just in my area but all the places I've been my personal favorite is the mountain top and a family size pizza doesn't even fit through a regular door frame! cheese sticks are okay but pizzas cant go wrong!

I have passed this place since I was a little kid and have always wanted to try it. A few weeks ago, my sister and I decided to try Ciro's and we were not disappointed. One of my favorite foods is pizza, especially bread sticks, and they have some of the best and cheesiest bread sticks I have ever had. The pizza itself was fresh and not piled high with too many toppings so all of the components of the pizza melded nicely. Don't let the tiny place and the bland decor fool you--this place is amazing. Next time I think we'll do delivery and see how that goes.

AMAZING pizza! The location is random and interior pretty drab, but who cares?! The pizza is why you go there! Terrific stuff. Favorite pizza- pepperoni, sausage, extra cheese, light sauce. You'll never go wrong. The spices and seasonings they use in the bread and cheese are a beautiful thing.
