Neighborhood: La JollaThey didn't have what I was looking for, but I will give 4 stars for the mapless treasure hunt the sales associate guy went on to find it.
Good service, but it seemed like they had way too many people working at the same time. There were 4 employees and two customers...not bad for us, but either AT & T is really concerned about customer service, or they (being the company) need to sell more phones to get more people to complain and get confused.
Said sales associate touched my arm when he told me they were out of what I needed. The awkwardness is still on the brain. I would definitely come back though.
I think that means my personal awkwardness trumps the awkwardness that he himself possesses. (i can do it grammatically too!)
These 5 stars were earned mostly by the uber-helpful sales guy (unfortunately I don't recall his name) who helped me when my phone was lost and I came in seeking a replacement, but also by the fact that I was immediately acknowledged both times I walked in. I went out of my way to come to this AT and T dealer location, after reading of and having a mediocre experience at a dealer in the Fashion/Mission Valley area.
I had lost my cell phone which has insurance on it, and thought I could walk into the store and get a replacement. The salesmen, after quickly looking up my account, kindly explained that I would have to wait for one via mail. What helped the most is that he gave me several ideas of what I could do in the meantime. I opted to purchase a go-phone, which he informed me I could return within 30 days once my new phone arrived. He checked me out quickly, and was very friendly through the whole process. When I returned the phone, two staff members waited on me and made this process painless. Thanks guys!
Knowledgeable staff who don't seem to work on commission, as in, they are not pressuring you to purchase a phone you don't need. Tons of accessories and models of phones to pick from.
Clean and friendly store. Well stocked with many models so that you can get hands on and feel them.
Non-pushy sales staff. Lots of La Jolla housewives with nothing better to do will be bitching about their cell phone bills to the staff while you are here.
One of the larger Cingulars in the area.
Plenty of strip mall parking in this lot.
A solid 4.
