I can easily give these guys four stars for a being a good multiple with comfortable seating, good picture, good sound, and pleasant staff. Everything you want is here. They have tons of cool movie posters--all classics, from camp to serious stuff--all over the place. Most of them I want to tear down and roll up to have in my house.

People love the beer and food here but I can seriously take it or leave it. I'm perfectly happy going someplace where they don't show movies to get my food, and, if needed, snacking on candy or half-decent popcorn during the show. Evidently the popcorn here is really good, though.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place as a movie theater, and I love that they program the best of what's out there for several of their auditoriums. They're close to me and I am very glad of that. If you dig on the food and beer part, well, that works really well, and it's worth checking out. The whole place is clean and nice and I would have no problem eating the food here.

I was really disappointed in my experience here.  My girlfriend and I got in to the theater a little bit early, but not tremendously.  We went in, got our seats and started looking over the menu.  Our server walked by and didn't acknowledge to see if we needed drinks or anything.

10 minutes later or so, the movie started and we could hear the next theater loud and clear.  Awesome.

15 minutes in, multiple servers walk by and I try to get their attention.  The 1st server said she wasn't our server so she couldn't take our order but she'd send someone in.  2nd server walks down our side of the aisle so I figure maybe that's him...no....instead "I can't take your order, only your server can."  Now we're 20 minutes in to the movie without having had a chance to order, awesome.

Finally our server comes, doesn't say a word, takes our order and about 10 minutes later returns with the most sub par pizza I've ever had.  Strangely our beers also took 5 minutes longer than the pizza to come.

So...at this point we arrived about 10 minutes before the movie, were served crap food and late beer halfway through the movie AND got to hear our neighbor's movie.

I could have stayed home and had better delivery with a quieter experience and only been bothered by my own laziness for free.

    Not going back to Cinebarre.

Any movie is better when there's food & drinks (that you don't have to sneak into the movie theatre). Went here for the first time not too long ago. $12 to get in plus whatever you spend on food & drinks. It adds up but it's still cheaper than going to Redmond's Gold class cinemas (not a fair comparison, I know).

After grabbing our seats, we jotted down our order. I was disappointed that they didn't have actual spirits! Beer and wine, sure.. but no hard alcohol?! Pero porque?!

The server recommended the margarita. Margarita...made with champagne for $6. It was ...decent but next time I think I'll just grab a Mac & Jack's and call it good.

We didn't try any food but they had a pretty impressive menu! Everything from burgers to ...fried green tomatoes?

    Will definitely be back!

I can't believe I didn't check this place out sooner! Cinebarre is known for their $5 movie Tuesdays, so you can guess where I went when I had last Tuesday off.

Right when you enter, you'll see areas where you can lounge around on both sides as well as a few pool tables and a bar in the middle of the lobby.  My movie date and I arrived early so we just hung around the bar.  They have a great selection of (beer/wine) drinks, including $20 pitchers of Mimosas! I was tempted to order that but settled for a glass of wine.

I agree with some of the other reviews, the food is mediocre but it's nice that you can eat while watching a movie.  I had the chicken strips with fries, which was ok.  The fries were good but the chicken was dry but salvaged with some ranch.  As for the service, I have to say they're pretty incognito because I didn't notice when they took my plate away or placed another glass of 14 hands Merlot right in front of me.

I love how this place is 21 and over, so it's a good place to get cozy and watch a movie or even for a date night (2-3 dates in at least).

I had heard of Cinebarre through some friends who had been a few times but it had slipped my mind of my to-do list.

After a recent "Gilt" email promo for a half off deal; I was ready to get my movie on!

After reading the reviews on Yelp and visiting the website; I found out that $5 Tuesdays is the place to be!

Granted, I will admit that I was really nervous since some of the reviewers called out the "older" screen as well as crazy lines on Tuesdays.

We arrive about an hour before our movie started to ensure we had seats. This wasn't necessary - not sure if it was due to the 'Snowpocalyse" or if it was just a slow  night.

The pool tables in the lobby were pretty neat although both were taken over by girls who were lazily playing. The tickets had to be bought at the bar vs. at the front because they were trying to staff the bar I guess?

We got a few drinks before we headed in since we did not know when they opened up seating. We finally went to the ticket guy around 7pm and he said they were already seating for all movies. I guess this would be helpful to know how far in advance they seat for 'busy' nights in the future.

I did like the concept of being able to order your food (mostly bar like food) and then be able to sit and eat. I did also love the extra leg room that it allowed you with the table there. There was a '5th' seat which was placed in front of the condiment 'bar' which I don't think ppl would sit in unless they had to. Most used it for a coat 'rack' of some sort. Although my tardy neighbor decided to put her gigantic purse and kept knocking MY coat to the floor. Thanks lady. I don't mind the stickiness on my coat at all.

Our waitress was great and our food actually came 10-15 mins before the movie started. We ended up ordering some dessert (fresh baked cookies) and it took quite a while for someone to come get our order. I had thought we may not get any since they cut off orders about 45 mins before the movie ends.

Our order finally came but our soda order didn't come for another 10 mins. Not sure if it was just a miss on the order or what.

Overall, a cute place and the screen wasn't too bad. It is an older Regal so I can see little things about it that are similar.

We will definitely be back and for $5 Tuesdays for sure!

Great venue for a 2nd date.

Note, I didn't say a 1st date. I'm not a fan of starting off with a movie date. There's either nothing to do but stare at each other and talk (PRESSURE!), or there's no interaction at all because you're watching a movie. The best part of a movie date is after the movie, when you get to talk about what you just saw. But even that can be awkward if you haven't had much of a chance to talk beforehand.

A second date though? Perfect. Plenty of time sitting next to each other in the dark to build tension, plus they serve adult beverages to reduce those pesky inhibitions.

After all, dinner and a movie is a classic, so why not combine them? Cinebarre is the only place in the Seattle area that successfully does just that. The food is actually quite tasty. I highly recommend their "Children of the Popcorn." Only bowl of popcorn you can get anymore with REAL BUTTER, not that frightening bright yellow "butter flavoring" (yech). And there's enough for two to share without fighting over the bowl.

So the screen quality isn't the best. And they have to leave the lights on, albeit dimly, throughout the film so that the servers can get through. But the movie should hardly be your focus on a second date in any case.

Yes, I am cheap. $5 Tuesday movie night

Just watched "Sherlock Holmes" tonight & it was my first time going to Cinebarre.
. I loved the concept of being able to order food & have the food come to you while you're watching a movie. The service was a-ok (hence my star rating)

The menu made me giggle here & there since they had names that were movie-related worked into the names of the dishes:

    Goldfinger = Chicken Fingers
Lord of the Onion rings  = Onion Rings
    Moonsticks = Mozzerella Sticks
    Princess Leia = Cinnamon Rolls

Clever, clever, huh? The onion rings were GINORMOUS! No exagerration! & they were sooo yummy. The chicken fingers were alright... can't really go wrong with chicken fingers. The Cinnamon Rolls are to die for!!!! OMYGOSH! I recommend recommend recommend! You will not regret it. & I have a major sweet tooth. [=

I asked for some water & what I got is a shot glass of water. lol. No JOKE! Nothing to complain about since I ended up gettinga  Sprite anyways. Oh! They also have milkshakes! I have yet to try it.

It is a 21+ establishment so no annoying little kids [= Yay to that!

We ended up spending about $58.58 with a $5 tip. Thank goodness the movie was only $5 since you end up paying a lot for the food.

I'm not quite sure what my issue is with Cinebarre. I enjoyed the movie (Sherlock Holmes), the food was better than average, and the service was acceptable. My wife and I shared the salad, split a chicken sandwich, and went with the cinnamon rolls for dessert. The fries were pretty terrible, but everything else was alright (nothing to go crazy about though). We also paid very little since we purchased a deal on Living Social ($15 for $30).

It was great not dealing with the younger crowd, but that's not to say it is quiet. We had quite a few talkers around us, a dinner plate was dropped, and I can't even count the number of times someone kicked the metal plate at the base of the table. Perhaps we should have seen a comedy because I think there were some distractions (food included) that made following this type of movie a bit challenging.

All things considered, I will definitely be going back. It's a nice idea, and if you can get a deal online, the prices aren't too bad.

Finally!!  I movie theater that thinks outside of the box!  Nobody under 21, so no parents bringing their crying children to a R-rated blood splattering movie.  Instead of eating popcorn and drinking coke, I had a delicious mediterranean dish with fire roasted red bell pepper hummus, tzatziki sauce, and mediterranean veggies with warm pita bread, and a blue moon beer.  Service was prompt, friendly, the waiter took his time to introduce himself and explain to us first-timers how it works, and he was very prompt in getting our check well before the end of the film.

The place was very clean, just $12 bucks for a movie tickets, which is what your traditional theaters charge anyways, and the food was very reasonably price.  Instead of having dinner then a movie, why not have have both at the same time?

Having first tried out Central Cinema, I was expecting a far different experience when I visited Cinebarre.  While CC is fantastic in a much different way, Cinebarre is classy and chic, and nearly identical to your everyday new age theatre except for a few key differences.  First, I can say with confidence that I've only been to one movie theatre whose entire entry room is a lounge and bar.  Lots of comfy seating, plent of drinks to choose from, and the incredible benefit of a theatre that is 21+.  I can't stress enough how enjoyable the Muppets movie was, and having a complete lack of screaming and crying children was too good to be true.

Our waiter was nervous which made for a comical few minutes of dropping pencils and such, but he didnt spill any drinks or food so I'll argue that he came through at gametime =)  The philly was good - nothing phenomenal about it but solid, and the popcorn with real butter was delicious.  We also had a couple glasses of Sangria (my first time) which was really sweet but honestly delicious.  The wings looked good too but I didn't have the tummy space to try them this time around.

I look forward to going back again, possibly at a time when it's not five dollar tuesdays and packed to the hilt, although it really didn't feel that crammed.  Fantastic date spot.

Three words for why Cinnebarre automatically gets 5 stars:

    Twilight. Opening. Night.

NO teenyboppers! Beer! Wine! Popcorn! A room full of other adults who won't look at you funny for attending this movie because they're all in the same boat!

We love Cinnebarre for more than just this experience, but it sure takes the cake.  I have been a fan since the soft opening I attended for a yelp elite event, and that seems like a while ago now!  I am so much happier seeing "compromise movies" with my husband when I can watch with a glass of wine in my hand! I love that they've made the waiting area more loungey instead of those uncomfortable metal tables and chairs everywhere.  I just wish the lighting were a little less bright in the lobby.

I only go on tuesdays--all shows are $5.  The late night shows have huge lines and fill fast, but if you are lucky enough to have an atypical work week, daytime screenings are almost always available!

The food is mediocre, but as long as you aren't expecting the best, it should satisfy.  I usually go for an app and a drink and call it good, none of the vegetarian entree options are worth the cost.

Nicest thing is no one under 21 is allowed, so you don't get lusty teenagers or loud kids ruining the movies for you (granted, you still get lusty and loud adults, but what can you do?).

    Things I like:
    1) No one under 21.
    2) More room between seats because they removed a row to add a table/bar top between rows.
    3) Bar menu

Thing that ruined a 4-5 star rating- the screen quality was very poor.

This is the only movie theater that I go to.

There is nothing better than being able to DRINK (alcohol) and watch a movie. They serve beer and wine, by glass or bottle/pitcher. Because they serve alcohol no one under 21 is allowed! They also serve food. The food is nothing special, fast food type. You can order finger food, burgers, and pizza. It's not the best but it is nice to eat and watch a movie and the portions are big. I like ordering popcorn only because they bring it in a metal popcorn bowl.

Every Tuesday night you can watch movies for $5. Get there early because movies sell out fast.

Dinner and a movie in one place = a nice quiet evening with my hubs.  Happy wife!  The movies they show are current features. not the discount features from the Crest.  While I love kids, it's nice that it's 21+.  I will say, however, that age admittance does not mean that your surrounding neighbors will be quiet through the movie.  *harrumph*  (ie, I do not need to hear your gruff voice during the showing of a Brad Pitt movie.)

The servers are good at being incognito during a movie showing - they crouch down between the aisles and make sure to not block your view.  The sliders, pizzas, and fries are my faves.  The milkshakes are okay, but they come out much faster than the food - order them later in the movie if you want to dip your fries in the sweet ice creamy goodness.  The beer selection is decent too.

We got here 30 minutes prior to a pretty current movie, and many seats were already taken.  Arrive earlier for prime seating if you plan to see a popular movie.  Otherwise, if you're here to see Puss in Boots, you should be good.

I came back recently to watch "J. Edgar" and decided to bump it up a bit.  It was a Sunday night so it was slow.  The bartender gave me a sample of the house red before I bought it and he poured me a very generous serving.

We went into the movie and ordered.  I had the gladiator pizza sans pepperoni and another house red while the boyfriend had a burger and beer.  The pizza was HUGE!  They said it was personal size, but there is def. enough for a light dinner/lunch for two.  A pizza plus an appetizer would probably be a good dinner for two.  Despite having the pepperoni taken off, they were very generous with the toppings and the pizza was pretty good.  I liked the crust because there was pretty much no crust.  My boyfriend liked the crust and his burger as well.  I had a veggie burger here another time and it was pretty good.  I'd have to say that the food is better than I would expect of a movie theater.  Not amazing, but good.

Service was a little slow.  It took them a while to come in to take our orders.  I think they need to have one staff member sitting in the theater at all times (except when bringing us our food) because no one wants to get up, leave the theater and find someone!

I like this place, but I still would not suggest coming on a busy night.

Went on a weekday, luckily, the theater was nearly empty.  If it were a full house, I would feel claustrophobic and annoyed sitting closely to other ppl and listening to their the noshing noises and whispering to "pass the ketchup." $10 a tix for matinee. Only 21 yrs+ allowed, so sorry twilight tweens. Theater was clean and modern, seats were comfy, spacious leg room and lots of counter room, large screen. Service was prompt and friendly.  BBQ chix pizza was good, burger approved by the BF, sangria was tasty - fruity and sour. The only thing I didnt like is how about 30 minutes before the end of the movie, the servers pass out your bill and then come back right away and ask  for the payment which was distracting since the last 30 mins of the movie is the best part! Missed a couple mins while digging around for the wallet. But nonetheless, enjoyable.

For a while, I lived at the Cinebarre every Tuesday.  $5 movie for any showing on Tuesday?  Amazing! (Note that 3D movies are $8 on Tuesdays).  Their food is decent, but honestly that isn't why I go there - it's for the cheap movies on Tuesdays and catching a brew during (or a daiquiri if I'm feeling girly).  And for those complaining about movie quality, my only response is this: after watching movies in Bellingham, the screen quality at the Cinebarre looks like blue ray (or you know, a kid who goes to the eye doctor for the first time, gets glasses, walks outside and says "Oh my god, I can see!").  I can't complain about screen quality, as I really only go for the $5 movies - but there is something to watching a movie without people under 21, I just don't think I can go back to a regular theater anymore... :P

Things have definitely improved since our first visits to the Cinebarre. I just love that there's a place to watch a movie while also enjoying dinner and a drink. My only complaint is that there's only the one bar and kitchen for all of the screens. On a particularly busy night it can take so long to get your drinks and food that it's not worth the trouble.

After being a fixture in Mountlake Terrace for the past two years, I still really enjoy Cinebarre.  It's so much fun to go come here for a date night or just for an impromptu movie night with a group of friends.  Service can be hit or miss, but 90 percent of the time the food arrives very quickly. The prices are still very good, although the movie ticket prices have gone up, so expect to pay $12 a ticket.  If the $12 price seems too steep, come on $5 movie night, which is every Tuesday.  Be forewarned, if you don't come early,  you may not get a seat!

The food itself is really good for a place like this.  The food is made from scratch.  The french fries are hand cut daily.  The pizza sauce has too much thyme in it, but I still enjoy the pizza.  Order a side of their house-made ranch dressing for dipping and it won't disappoint.

For appetizers, the moonsticks are top notch for deep fried mozzarella.  The Sgt. Pepper jalapeno poppers are also pretty tasty.  I tried the Fried Green tomatoes last time and would skip next time.  The cornmeal coating was too thick and was a bit undercooked.  The green tomato itself was chewy and had quality that indicated they are frozen prior to frying.  They definitely are not fresh cut, but I imagine it's difficult sourcing fresh green tomatoes, so maybe they should try to keep it a seasonal item.

The sandwiches are really good, and come with those fresh cut hand fries I talked about earlier.

Now let's get to the best part about this place.  As a 21 and older establishment, alcohol is the main draw here!  Pitchers of beer, mimosa, or sangria can be ordered for $6 a glass or $20 a pitcher.  Last time I was here they had 22 oz Ninkasi brews on sale for $7, which is pretty good seeing that at the grocery store the bottles are about $4.  I had an oatmeal stout that was damn tasty.  They also have a "cinnebrew" which is an ESP type beer and a "cinnebeer," which is a scotch ale, both at $5 a glass or $18 a pitcher.  There are also less expensive domestic beer choices, and even a local Red Hook Rotator beer for $4 a glass or $15 a pitcher.

It may not be the cheapest date, especially after the movie ticket is purchased, but as far as food and beer pricing goes, I'd say it's on the lower end compared to most restaurants in the area.  It's a unique experience that isn't found anywhere else, and really isn't much more than going to a normal theatre that charges astronomical prices for a bag of popcorn and a monster sized soda pop.

I've been to Cinebarre many times since my first review (including twice in the last week) and it's one of my favorite theaters now.

The wings and popcorn are both delicious. I would not order the chicken strips or the pizza again.

Service is generally pretty good and the servers do their best not to interrupt the movie. I like the lounge-y feel of the theaters and the lobby area where you can hang out before/after the movie is pretty cool.

I like their sangria although it is different being made with wine only and no hard alcohol.

One con is that the lights in the theater are always on low so it is never really dark. If you're wanting to see a great action movie or movie with special effects this may not be the best choice for that type of movie.

I love the fact that it's 21 and over so there are no kids!

What's to hate about this place? It's a hybrid movie house and restaurant/bar. Of these two combined things, anyone who takes one of them too seriously and gets upset at the other for lack or interference is totally missing the point.

This is what it's like inside:

The establishment is 21+, which means no kids. Not that I hate kids or anything, but the "mall-culture" feeling that many mainstream cinemas can have with teenager and kid energy hyperactively tainting what would otherwise be a neutral afternoon at the cinema can be a big drag. With Cinebarre this is not the case. Cinebarre is adults only, and it feels adults only, and it pulls this off in a relatively decent way.

The interior itself isn't the most attractive (grey paint, black trim, no carpet, black leather and chrome furniture, etc.) and is kind warehousey, echo-ey, drab and dreary/creepy even a bit. But, In an odd way (curiously enough) it's actually somehow comfortable too. The BS dazzle, glitz, glitter, 10+ cardboard cut-outs of Will Smith and overabundance of lights you commonly see at other mainstream, theaters is pretty much non-existant here, completely stripped away and replaced with large prints of classic film posters. Simple and "no-frills", the decor supports the concept more "mature" atmosphere (in my opinion). Because, in the end, who cares about all that marketing garbage? You just want to see a movie *and* have a bite to eat with your pals and move on, right?

In the middle of the main lobby area is a big island bar, where you can buy pre-movie drinks and snacks. In terms of drinks, the place only sells beer and wine (no hard liquor), so if you're looking for whiskey or whatever, you'e out of luck. There's also a pool table (or two?) in the lobby area too.

There are a number of theaters in the place. I didn't count how many, but when I went we were seated in theater 6, and it looked like they maybe had a few more than that too (maybe close to 8?). The theaters themselves were smaller, somewhat intimate, mid-sized spaces.

Inside the actual theater space(s) itself, every other row of seating has been removed from in front of you (read: SPACIOUS!), with a 1 foot deep (roughly) bar top area that runs the length of your row with condiments, menus and napkins, and just enough space beyond that (between the bar countertop and the next actual row of seats in front of you) for your waiter to come by and take your order. With every other row of seats taken out, there's also less chance of your view being obstructed by big hair or whatever from the person sitting in front of you.

The menu, overall, was basically average-to-decent bar food, with your common American bar fare (chicken fingers, sandwiches, mini pizzas, burgers, etc). There's nothing fancy or gourmet about the menu, and the options are pretty standard, so don't go expecting to be culinarily wowed. All I had was a burger and fries, and it was pretty average as far as burgers go. The fries were quite good, shoe-string-ish, crisp and crunchy. Drink-wise all we ordered was 2 pitches of mimosas during the movie, which worked out great and kept us content.

    What it's like service-wise:

So, anyway, after buying your ticket and going to your theater/seat, the waiter eventually comes to take your oder at the beginning, then later he brings your food, and then later he checks in in the middle, and towards the end he comes around with the check. At least that is how it worked for us. I've seen other reviewers complain about the waiters being inaccessible or not coming around enough. To me, this is dumb, because, yes, while they are serving you food *you are being served in a friggin' movie theater DURING a movie* (additional visits from the waiter would have been a distraction). For us, the waiter's timing was totally fine, and we were as well able to get up and leave without having to wait for the bill to make it's final round with the receipt for us to sign.

    So, in short:

Anyone who complains that it sucks as a restaurant is missing the point, and anyone who complains that it sucks as a theater is missing the point. Movie theater and restaurant are inherently two things that are not meant to go together, but Cinebarre pulls this off in an acceptable, passable, fairly decent manner. It's not perfect, but it's not bad, and should definitely be considered an option in a casual, don't-take-yourself-too-seriously way. I don't know how busy the place gets at night, but during the day it was easy in and easy out, and a pleasant time all in between. I'll definitely go again, and bring a few other pals too.

    Check it out.

The sangria was a scary magenta colour and tasted like punch. The food can only be described as "edible".
It was great being able to eat and drink while watching the movie though!

We love Cinebarre. The concept is spot on, the movie selection always great, you can eat and drink while you watch, the chairs are comfy etc. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because the food is just mediocre at best.  I order the pizza frequently and am let down frequently. The chicken burger thing I got last time though was super-tasty so Cinebarre if def. a solid 4 star place.

Big-screen movies while eating dinner?!?  What's not to love?

The establishment is for 21 and over because of the bar they have smack-dab in the middle of the theater.  Lounge around here and order a drink for a pre-movie/dinner treat.  Also enjoy some arcade or billiards game while you're at it!

If that doesn't suit you, go on ahead into your movie and sit down in comfortable seats that are pretty spacious, like the food counter in front of you.

The food is pretty decent.  The price is also pretty average like most casual dining places.  I like their pizzas and burgers, and the clever names they come up with.  The service here is impeccable - the right amount of service that doesn't interrupt your movie-watching experience.

The only weird thing about this place are the previews they show before the movie.  It's like really weird student films that always bug me.  But enduring those 10-15 minutes is worth it, I guess. :)

And the absolute nice thing I love about Cinebarre ---- $5 movie ticket every Tuesdays!!!!

I heart good movies. I also really dig good beer. And good food, well that's even better!

I tried Cinebarre with some girlfriends to see a chick flick, but I think our fellas will like this place too! (Scotch style ale? YUM!)

The seats are roomy and comfortable. The ordering is easy and non intrusive. The food and drink selection is good too. The only thing that would make it better is some vodka and fresh squeezed grapefruit juice.

The prices are OK for the quality of the food. If I'm going to get a grilled cheese sandwich, it better be Gruyere. I am going to try a Tuesday night next - this may change my rating but for a first timer, it was a great experience.

I dig this place, particularly on $5 Tuesdays.

To be honest, I actually only go here on Tuesdays.
I have always had good service and the food does arrive rather quickly.

The pizzas are good, albeit a little pricey for as small as they are and I can't justify $6 for the standard movie theatre popcorn.  It would be great if could jazz up the old standby and make it a bit more gourmet.

The beers are cold, and the movies are first run.
Wait staff while you're watching a movie? Color me happy!

I love this place.  First off... NO KIDS.  Yes that's right.  No squealing teenagers saying the word "like" every 45 seconds and no screaming babies.  Walk in, buy a beer and grab a seat.  The food is hit or miss.  The Blue Velvet Burger and fries seems to be the best thing I've found.  Service is decent and the beer is wonderful.  They always have a couple of local microbrews.

What's there to say that hasn't already been said?

I've been using my Fandango Living Social to hit up Cinebarre on a non-Tuesday night. As other Yelpers have mentioned, Tuesdays are $5 tickets, but it is PACKED those nights. I like going on Thursdays or Sundays, when I don't have to get there super early to get a good seat.

It's pretty standard fare. Everything from burgers (around $11) sliders (about $8) lots of different kinds of pizzas (not the best, but filling enough).

Something they don't really mention is you should order pretty early, because they give you the bill about halfway through the movie. The food also takes about 20 minutes to get prepared.

I usually leave with a $30 bill for two people. We usually get a beer, an entree, a side, and something sweet like a milkshake (which are awesome) or cookies.

It's also pretty amazing that it's a 21+ over only, meaning no crying kids during the climax of the movie, and 14 year old emo kids are absent.

***Pretty objective review here from someone who is anal-retentive and relatively particular about surroundings and experience...***

I REALLY enjoyed watching a movie at Cinebarre! Every other row of seats is removed to make room for the table in front of you, which made it feel very open and comfy. The "table" is moreso a foot-deep ledge in front of you spanning the whole row, and once I was disillusioned of the idea that there'd be a little round, wooden cocktail table (w/lamp) in front of a pair of easy chairs, I was able to adjust and quickly begin enjoying what was going on.

The servers were friendly and quick-enough for me (and I was pretty hungry). I've read other reviews and a couple complained about service... I imagine that this would vary, depending on how busy it is when you go, which is largely something you control... My completely uninformed advice (to those who might be prone to complain about bad service) would be to NOT go to Cinebarre on opening weekend of a movie and then expect beer & a perfectly-metered 4-course meal. It is what it is, and they seem to do it pretty well. Maybe do yourself a favor and get there early enough to grab your first drink at the lobby bar and perhaps also figure out what you want to grub-on at the same time.

Given the fact that there's alcohol in the mix, nobody was being too rambunctious. Again, I can imagine this varying. Still, I'd take a tiny bit of chatter and A COUPLE BEERS & REAL FOOD over the fussy baby a row in front of me at Thornton Place while watching Thor a couple days ago.

Will I go to Cinebarre for every movie I go see going forward? There's a good chance I will! Maybe 2 out of every 3 times, and then throw Thornton Place a bone on the off-time because of how nice it is :).

I'll guess I'll end my soliloquy. Just go check the place out! Start out on an off-night (M,W, or Th... btw, Tues = $5 night, which I imagine is probably a c.f. ...) to get the place's potential, and then go from there.

I LOVE! Cinebarre!  It's great for midnight showings, you don't have to hassle with kids for big draw movies, ticket prices are the same as everywhere else and the food is actually pretty decent and priced normally.  You will pay through the nose for your alcohol and it's only beer, wine and champagne but still, I have a great time every time I go here.

Sorry Cinebarre! You really disappointed me! I loved how clean you were when I visited you. However, your seats were extremely uncomfortable! It's really hard to sit through the entire movie.

If you are a Regal Cinema employee, bring your most current pay stab. You get free movies (but, not 3D ones)

I'd like to give it a second chance. Hopefully, ordering some food and drinks would take the attention off uncomfortable seats!

I love going to the Cinnebarre for movie and drinks.  Tuesdays are a great night to go because it is only $5 to get in.  Although make sure to buy your ticket early if its a popular movie because they will sell out!  My only complaint is that service can be slow.  Reccomend ordering two drinks at once if you are going to want more than one beer because sometimes servers don't come back around once they have taken initial order.  Food is decent but don't expect too much.  I also like the fact that you have to be 21 to get in.

I'm addicted to Cinebarre now. Fun experience and great for weeknights or for discounted Tuesday nights. I love being able to joke about the movie without bothering other patrons and I look forward to scarfing down blue velvet burgers and fried pickles on the regular here.

They just updated their dessert menu to include fresh baked brownies, warm and gooey from the oven, and a variety of other delights.

It's crowded now. For prime time movies I try to show up early for good seating.

This place kind of sucked.  My friend had the foresight to buy tickets using Fandango so we could avoid the long lines at the theatre.  When we got to the theatre, we were told to that there was no express Fandango pickup service, and we would have to get in line with everyone else - and this line was 20+ minutes / 60+ people long.  What was the point of paying extra for the Fandango service if we still had to wait in line?

We finally got to the front of the line to pickup our tickets.  When we complained about the long wait to the theatre employee, she informed us that it "wasn't [her] fault" that we had to wait, they were "short-staffed", and "everyone else had to wait in line as well."  The last point was particularly egregious as a point of justification.  We had paid extra for the Fandango service and we were not being provided this service by the theatre.  Just because they had wronged everyone else who had also purchased tickets on Fandango does not make it right for them to wrong us as well!

To add insult to injury, the food that we did order before the movie started was about 30 minutes late.  We didn't receive it until the movie was more than half over.  It was supremely mediocre as well.  My veggie burger was bland, slathered with mayonnaise (yuck, also not mentioned on the menu!), and they forgot the lettuce.

The concept of a simultaneous dinner + movie sans screaming children and wiseass teenagers is a good one, but Cinebarre's execution was terrible.  I'll be eating my dinner separately and seeing my movie at another location from now on.

I LOVE this place. I have been here on regular weekdays, weekends, and $5 Tuesdays. My recommendation is to get there EARLY on weekends & Tuesdays. Popular movies sell out fast & seating can be at a premium for non sold-out movies. The food is average pricing for comparable food at a restaurant. The food & drinks are good, but not great. I'm not a great fan of beer or wine, so I would prefer it if they had a liquor license. The greatest point for me is that my husband will come see any movie with me, as long as it is at Cinebarre. ;)
