Awww, just love her!! She has a very gentle, encouraging personality but also moves very swiftly in thought and treatment, which I personally like a lot. I'm not a fan of needles (not sure if anyone is!) but she's really great w administering the acupuncture.
I also really appreciate that she is supportive of the condition I came to her for and the background, since it is pretty sensitive.
She's also very responsive and even got back to me on the weekend when I had sent over some things from my doctor to keep everyone on the same page.
Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine isn't cheap, so you definitely want to get someone you can trust and does a great job. You will find those things here =)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kelli F.Los Angeles, CA3252429Jul 1, 2016
This is the story about how Cindy Rosenberg changed my life.
I threw out my back for the first time a week after my 30th birthday. By the time I turned 34, it had turned into chronic lower back pain that I had been living with for years. I went to several physical therapists, recommended by friends and my orthopedic surgeon. I would go twice a week for 10 weeks, and do all the recommended exercises on a daily basis. After all that I would typically notice a 10% pain decrease. This was the kind of lower back pain that made me wince when I switched positions in my sleep. It forced me to quit my tennis team, stop running, and was reduced to minimal workouts. This pain was a part of my daily routine.
Then a friend recommended me to Cindy. I was super skeptical. I wasn't into Eastern Medicine, and honestly thought it was bogus. My only experience with acupuncture was seeing Charlotte from Sex and the City try it on one episode. But after my friend had had some success, I honestly had nothing to lose. I had spent so much time and money on every other treatment, that I thought, worse case scenario, I would have a funny story to tell about that one time someone put needles in me.
By the end of the first visit, I learned the needles didn't hurt at all. You literally couldn't feel them go in. Other than that I mostly felt relaxed. Still skeptical, but at least I knew it didn't hurt. After my third visit, after she put needles in my head and ears, and did cupping, my life was changed forever. It's now been 2 months since my 3rd visit, and I have no more lower back pain. I wake up most mornings waiting for it to be there, like a long lost friend, and it just isn't. I roll over in the night still hesitant, and the pain is just gone.
I can't explain the science behind why it worked, and have no idea if it will work for everyone, but for me, it was life changing. Huge thank you, Cindy!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mal M.Marina del Rey, CA182Oct 6, 2016
This review is so long overdue. And so well deserved. I've seen Cindy for a few different issues. She was the only one who could help me resolve my stiffness and pain after a car accident and was amazing through my IVF process and early pregnancy.
She is warm and friendly and so thorough. And, she listens. I recommend her to everyone I know!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - amaree t.Marina del Rey, CA1962Apr 20, 2012
Cindy is fantastic! I came to see her after a friend referred her when I was suffering from awful shoulder pain due to a yoga injury. She's got a great calm attitude that puts you at ease. I wasn't sure what acupuncture was going to be like, but she made me feel relaxed right away.
Cindy's also a certified yoga teacher, so she was able to give me some insight as to how to prevent any future injuries. I can't recommend her enough!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tomi N.Los Angeles, CA229Jul 29, 2014
Cindy is amazing. She's a fantastic person and makes you feel so good every second of your appointment with her. I've always been so afraid of needles but the way she does the treatment I have no problem at all with it. And the result of the therapy is amazing. Not only do you feel better at whatever part you're treating, you also feel like you just came out of a deep meditation and massage therapy. The session is definitely worth. Strongly recommend her! Thanks Cindy!

Cindy is absolutely wonderful. I can't recommend her enough. I saw her because I was struggling with morning sickness. I had never had acupuncture before, but I felt immediately at ease thanks to her empathy and warmth. I felt that she truly listened to me and tailored the treatment plan to meet my needs. Thank you, Cindy!

Cindy is an unbelievable acupuncturist. I've visited many practitioners in the past, mostly in NYC, and she is definitely top tier. I play a lot of guitar for work and my arms get very tight making it hard to perform at a high level on a consistent basis. Cindy has helped my abilities immensely! Thanks Cindy!

I have never met an Acupuncturist as good as Cindy. She is above and beyond brilliant. Incredibly caring, sensitive, knowledgeable and intelligent. You always feel cared for and in the hands of someone who is an expert. She watches how your body reacts and treats you accordingly. Every patient is different for her and she treats everyone differently.
I have tried other Acupuncturists in the past and they haven't even come close to Cindy's brilliance. She treats your mind, body and spirit as a whole and doesn't leave a thing out. She is warm and nurturing and open, whilst being completely 'normal' and there's no airy fairy nonsense about her.
I walked into her office once in the deepest pits of depression, that I hadn't been able to shift for weeks. One session with Cindy and it was gone.
If you have any mind, body or soul issues, and someone has suggested acupuncture, Cindy is the ONLY person you should go to!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Paige S.Los Angeles, CA92631Apr 7, 2011
Cindy is AMAZING! My entire body thanks her. My sinuses and knees especially. I have sent several people to Cindy and all have LOVED her. I can promise you that even if you have a fear of needles like I did, there is zero pain because Cindy does it best. She really cares about her patients and has such passion for what she does.

If you are looking for someone super skilled and very human, she is the one for you. I have had a few acupunture treatments in the past, but they never did much for me. Then I went to Cindy. I first saw her a few years ago with major back pain. She was able to address most of the inflammation in just one treatment. Lately, I have seen her for a couple of crippling injuries. Both times, she was able - in a just a couple of sessions - to help me regain mobility and lower the pain to a minimum. She is wonderful.
