So Dr Grijalva is only half time, which makes sense, since evey time I've tried to schedule with her , I get the nurse practitioner Olga ( who is awesome) or one of the other docs in her practice ( who are also awesome). The one time I met her, she was condescending and unresponsive to my quesions.  I wound up transferring to one of her partners and was much happier.

I usually wait about 3 years in between my doctor visit, just because I love them so much....:)  But it's a new year, new me and hopefully a new baby will soon be in our life.....so I knew I had to take charge and make my appointment.   So I called Dr. Grijalva's office and told them of my future plans and they said I needed to come in for prenatal counseling and my pap.  WHaaat?? but I'm not preggars yet...Well okay I thought... lets do this, lets take charge!  ..so I called my mommy and told her to come with me:)   Dr. Grijlva was able to see me 10 minutes BEFORE my appointment and the counseling was great! she answers any questions, gives you all kinds of info from diet to - how to breathe during birth! What a great way to start my new journey! and during my pap we talk about traveling, my job and my friends..I felt like she was  really trying to get to know me! and boom  it was over!  

I'm looking forward to having her be my doctor as I partake in my most exciting year!!

It's a total drag having to go to see a gyno, but Dr. Grijalva makes the visit quick and pleasant.  

She actually has time to sit with you and answer questions- which my last doctor, always seemed 45 minutes late and too busy for me.  I can even call her office and I always get a call back.  

She's the best and makes you feel completely comfortable during your visit.  Check her out if you are looking for an awesome doctor!
