Lovely, relaxing atmosphere. High quality products and good staff. I have been here for waxing only so I cannot judge most of the treatments. They lose a star for their hard wax that they use for underarms and bikini line.

This is a wax that they slather on and let cool and harden. Then they pull it off without a paper strip. This wax is SUPPOSED to be gentler than the strips that they use on the legs, however, it is WAY TOO HOT (it burned my skin! It left a mark!) and they did not turn down the temperature when I complained (nicely). Also, it pulls on my skin when they pull it off (way more than strips ever have). I have been there 3 times and had different aestheticians and every time the hard wax is too hot and hurts. Time to find a new place.

I discovered Ciana when I got a gift certificate for a facial here.  After entering, they seated me in a comfy chair, offered me water or tea, and cleansed my feet.  Then I got a thorough facial, in which the beautician was in my room working on me for one and a half hours!  Now I go back regularly for leg and bikini waxes.  This is the least painful waxing location I have ever found.  I can't recommend it enough.  I even got a Brazilian here as a wedding present for my husband!  It is only a few doors down from the hair salon (http://www.yelp.com/bi...).

I used to go here regularly for waxing and facials, but then my esthetician moved to another salon so I followed her.  However, I decided to give their new talent a try and I am very disappointed!  I went in for a facial (first appointment of the day) and Sarah was not ready for me.  I had to go a few doors down to the salon to locate her!  Then when she came in to give me my facial, her hands were ICE COLD!  How is a facial suppose to be relaxing when the person is touching your face with COLD hands?????  Every time she touched me, a chill went down my spine.  What was suppose to be a relaxing experience was an experience I could not wait to end!  I could not wait for her to be done so I could get dressed and warm again!  NEVER again!

This bothered me for a week so I finally called, not necessarily to complain because I didn't want to get her in trouble, but to let the management know that they should provide better training to their estheticians.  I spoke with the manager and she was very apologetic and offered to send me a gift certificate for another treatment to give them another try.  I agreed, but I never received the gift certificate!  Needless to say, I will never go here again!

Ciana is an awesome spa.  The whole experience made me a fan.  I had some trepidations going to a "spa/salon", but the owner made me feel right at home as she detailed the services they provided. I got a great hair style and well need massage, both were excellent.
