I saw a churro vendor,
huddled in the cold.
His goods were wrapped in foil,
to keep them warm or help grow mold?
I'd just eaten dinner
And had a couple drinks.
Which helps justify this purchase
Of one gross chur-ro, methinks.
I should have questioned where it came from
and who exactly made it.
Probably chucked it in the trash,
But I said "who cares?" and ate it.
$2 and it helped me understand why dogs like gnawing on things for hours.

This Hispanic dude has been selling churros out of a tin baking tray on the corner of 4th & Market since the Westfield Mall opened up. Man he is making a killing! Everyone at the bus stop nearby is chowing on churros in a paper towel. I want one, but I am terrified of the carbs.
What an entrepreneur.

The churro guy creeps me out! When first saw him on 2nd and Market, I couldn't figure out what he was selling. Are those sausages you have, sir? Small wooden sticks to build a fire? What ARE they! Finally one day he yelled "churros" and that worked. I don't really like that the churro guy is right next to the bums, and the only thing that is protecting their stench from the churros is a thin piece of tin foil.
Anyhow, I'm too scared to try them. Germaphobe!
