Order the rodizio and don't look back. An endless supply of perfectly cooked and seasoned meats will come your way. Goes great with their red sangria.
There is often a wait so try to get there early.
I've been to other restaurants that offered rodizio but none have compared to Bairrada.
This place is really amazing for what you pay. First off, don't mess around. Get the rodizio. Even if it's lunch time, and rodizio's not on the menu, ask for it. They will let you have it. Sometimes I go right when they open just to get the best table. One time my husband and I showed up there at the crack of 11:30 (that's when they open). I said, well since it's still morning I guess I'll have a mimosa.
A meat maestro comes to you table, with a huge skewer of something. Take it easy because there will be umpteen more things and he will just keep coming back. Sometimes I get stressed out because I can't eat fast enough. Just kidding. The pitcher of sangria takes the meat anxiety away.
Anyway it's delicious. Red sangria and rodizio. Got it? Ok.
I am not really a meat eater, but I love this place. I will intentionally not eat for the previous 24hrs if I know we're dining here the next day - it is that good. I get the rodizio every time and leave sublimely full and happy. The meats comes around often and are perfectly cooked and the right temperature (not too hot, but warm and succulent). The meat choices vary, but my favorite is the turkey wrapped in bacon. Ugh just typing that makes me yearn to go back asap. In addition to the meat, the rodizio comes with bread, salad, rice, beans, and plantains. The also have the best sangria (red and white). There can be a wait on Friday and Saturday nights, but it's soooo worth it.

This place was fantastic. I got the rodizio and could not have been more happy with my choice. For $30 per person it was certainly worth it for me, I probably had $50 worth of food I loved it so much. There were a few different choices of meat that the waiter would come around and offer every few minutes. Ribs, steak, spicy steak, chicken, sausages, turkey wrapped in bacon. It was all so good, although I think my favorite was the steak and seasoned beef that had a little kick to it. You may be leaving with a clogged artery, but it will certainly be worth it. If you are a meat eater, I would recommend going and eat your heart out.
They do not take reservations so I would recommend getting there real early, especially on the weekends. We got there at 6:30 on a Sat night thinking that was early for a Saturday, only to wait an hour. It was packed in the waiting area although they do their best to get people moving and there are TVs with sports to watch to entertain while waiting, and of course there is a bar right there to grab a drink.
The food is always amazing and the portions are huge. It's a great place for a family get together.
AND DONT FORGET THE SANGRIA!
YUM! My aunt introduced me to this Portuguese restaurant. I am addicted! We usually get the barbecue chicken with fries but everything is so tasty and the meat is so juicy!
Meat!
Meat!
More Meat!
Not recommended by the American Heart Association, but incredibly good nonetheless.
I usually go here with a group of guys and we order the suckling pig - oh baby, pork heaven.
They also have entrees and the de rigueur all you can eat Brazilian BBQ thing complete with metal skewers. The chicken is out of this world good.
The place gets packed out so expect some waiting and it seems very noisy at times.
There is a big take out thing going on as well which is usually better if you can't wait to sit.

I've never had Portuguese food before this place, I have only herd of it's simplistic style. this place was amazing. there is always a wait, and no matter what time of day you come it is always packed. their pork chops were the most amazing pork chops I've ever tasted. there food is plain but very flavorful. i was a little confused as to why all dishes came with rice and fries. I remember hearing somewhere that fried potatoes are popular in Portugal, but i cant be sure. their bread was amazing. and the imported Portuguese soda called Sumol was delicious. i had the pineapple flavor and loved it. they are famous for their rotisserie whole chickens which can be shared, I've had this as well once for take out and it was equally delicious. reasonable priced for the massive portions. three large pork chops with rice, vegetables, potatoes and fries after the bread and family style salad with oil and vinegar is enough to fill anyone.
loved this place. and am now craving those pork chops
