We wandered over to this bar after the bouncers at Upper East Andrews were dillweeds. What a great find! The service was quick and the people that drink there are friendly!
Example of Churchill Arms friendliness -
Emboldened by the great environment (and/or maybe copious amounts of alcohol) my friends and I challenged some strangers to a game of darts. Though we hijacked their dartboard they let us join them and from there on out it was a very solid evening. -True Story-

Is it the size of the boat? Or the motion of the Ocean? Either way I was left uncomfortable Friday night...
Churchill Arms is a long bar... but narrow all the same. You walk around on a busy Friday feeling like things could be just a little bit bigger and you'd be a much happier man. I felt like all of Atlanta was crammed inside placing movement and space at a premium.
The drinks are decently priced and they had a beer tub girl near the door to get quick drinks so one doesn't have to attempt to conquer the sea of people near the main bar. This place is fun when it's not packed though... they have pool tables, darts, and I'm pretty sure I saw video golf.
This is straight up poppedcollarville! With Buckhead all up in your personal you can't help but look at these people crammed into this small raft and wonder if their mothers really know what they're doing. I swear the legal drinking age around here must be 18 yrs. I haven't felt this old in a minute!
We were fortunate enough to be welcomed downstairs and saved from the inebriated crowd. The War Room as they call it is for private parties and we were able to relax and have an actual conversation. This space is a quarter the size of the bar upstairs, and it was so great to be in a room with only 7 other people. I found heaven in the heart of Buckhead!
I like Churchills on a Monday or Tuesday for drinks with friends. I think I'm officially old making these College bars something of the past. If it's a drunken time you're looking for with cheap drinks and an evening of running into everyone you went to high school with then this is the place for you!

Nice patio out front, lots of dart boards inside if you so desire. Beer selection is okay. Prices are cheap from what I gathered. Beer tub in the front has a decent selection so you don't have to wait in line at the bar. I'll be trying this place out again. Pretty good and somewhat diverse crowd for being in Buckhead. Didn't see any popped collar hipster wannabes either.
My bar of choice in Buckhead - enough said...I will end up here at some point pretty much every Friday and/or Saturday night.
While it can be annoying to get a drink sometimes because it gets so crowded at the bar, it's okay because you will run into at least 5 people you know while you wait to be helped. Plus, there are usually the cash-only beer stations set-up if you need a quicker fix.
And you can bank on a line for the ladies room, but at least it is semi-clean and has a huge mirror.

Pretty decent! I didn't know what to expect, but it's a pretty decent college-y bar in good old Buckhead. The long bar is always way crowded, but drinks aren't too pricey. I went with a big group of people and we all had a great time just standing around talking in little groups. Don't bother wanting to sit down here. If you want more than talking, there is a dart board in the corner you can use. Considering how not-great I am at darts, that occupied our time for a good while at Churchill's. SOLID choice o' bar.
I LOVE this bar!!!!! I have yet to have a bad experience here! It can get crowded up towards the bar and it might take a bit to get a drink but the bartenders are nice, the drinks are strong, and the crowd is fun. It's a very chill, laid back place. You're almost always guaranteed to run into someone you know here. The bathrooms are pretty decent compared with other Buckhead bars and the lines usually aren't too long. You can relax with a game of darts or hang out in some of the booths lining the walls. Good place to go with a small group of friends when you just wanna hang out and drink. Can get extremely busy around 12-ish but usually clears out a little after that. Best spot is the booth across from the bar, kinda next to the bathrooms....close to all the amenities! :)

I believe it's actually spelled "Churchill Arms". But no matter.
This unpretentious bar/pub is hidden away a few blocks behind the Roxy. The atmosphere boasts myriads of local college kids during the latter half of the week, but it is an excellent place to play a laid back game of darts (stalls and all) with the buddies. Drinks are inexpensive too.
My friends and I usually spend Mondays at Fado Irish Pub (a few blocks away) and then wind down at Churchill's. Don't expect anything fancy. Its not. And that is precisely why we go.
