Oh I like this place. :)
It's near SJ downtown in a hidden plaza calls Guadalupe Park. Be sure to bring quarters since there are only parking meters.
Nice setting! The spa/salon is very cozy and nicely decorated. There are several rooms for various services. Seeing that many people rave about massages, I'll probably schedule a massage with Christina in the future too.
Anyways, I came for an eyelash touch-up (1st time to refill, 3rd time receiving extension service -- so I'm pretty new to all of this). Christina was very friendly and helped me with all my concerns. I give Christina a big star for not burning my eyes and pulling my lashes like the previous professionals did. -

If you want a good facial in a small boutique-style location, this is the place for you.. It's in a house, like other reviews have said, so do not expect the 5 star spa experience when you walk in... Go upstairs, sit in the chairs waiting for you, and your aesthetician will come get you. That was kind of weird - no receptionist. Also, the computer wasn't working when I was there, so there was no music, which was kind of awkward...
Elana was very nice, easy to talk to about my skin regimin and the problems I feel I have, and best of all she was gentle on my face. She could have been firmer with the shoulder massage. I got the Clarifying facial (very gentle) but I wish I'd gotten the Pumpkin facial - it would have been stronger. -

Came to see Christina this past Sat since my skin has been rebelling and needed some serous TLC. Loved the cute space and her caring and sweet personality. She asked me about my skin and listened while I rattled on ana on about what I'd been doing to try and cure my recent issues. Then she did me right! Got a wonderful facial to help my problem area(s) and picked up some product, though she was totally no pressure. Got this wonderful clay spot treatment made in Hungary which is my favorite thing and a lovely Apricot moisturizer too. I'll be back!!

Christina gives awesome massages. Haven't tried her other services much, but I highly recommend the massages. I requested a deep tissue massage since I tend to have deep knots, and she works them out. But I'm sure you can request any kind of pressure. She is very thoughtful and customizes your experience. Last time I went in when I had a cold and she heated eucalyptus oil for my sinuses during the massage. The place is cozy and private. The massage beds are heated. Christina offers me a hot cup of tea every time I come. Very relaxing. If you're looking for a personalized care experience, this is a great place to go.

Hands down the best facial and massage I've had. Christina is an excellent skin/massage therapist. I've been to her for a massage a few times and every single time...... Every Single Time, I fall asleep and just don't feel like getting off the massage bed!
She works out of this beautiful Victorian kinda cottage in San Jose. She has decorated the place so well that as soon as you enter, you're already beginning to loosen up in the cozy little place. She has 2/3 rooms, all of which have pretty furniture, calming and soothing aroma.
She uses heated beds and different pillows and cushions (for under the knees, head, etc..)which she uses to make her clients feel at ease.
I give her 5 stars for hygiene! this is my number 1 concern whenever I visit spas. The lack of acceptable hygiene is always a deal breaker.
Christina is very friendly and welcoming. She remembers her clients needs and caters to the concerns and comments with great care.
I can't wait for my next massage appt with her!
Everything about Christina and the services she provides is top notch. The only thing I'd ask you to keep in mind when driving there is to keep enough time before your appointment to look for parking, especially if its a Hockey Night! Only metered street parking is available and the meters are enforced 24/7.

I've been going to Christina to get my bikini and Brazilian waxes for over a year and only finally remembered to write a review. I've strayed once in a while when there were scheduling conflicts, but I always come back. Her boutique is so cute and CLEAN. That was a major plus for me.
During the cold seasons, Christina provides a heated pad for you to lay on and also provides a warm towel for you to cover up. She leaves the room to give you privacy while you undress and get on the table. Although I haven't bought any of the products in her boutique and she never tries to sell them to me, I like the lotions and oils she uses.
The best thing about going to her is just her welcoming, friendly personality. She's very good at creating casual conversations and doesn't ever make you feel self-conscious. Her personality is just so friendly and likable. Christina is very professional and will treat you like a VIP even if you're just there for a quick bikini wax.
She has become increasingly popular so you may have to call a week in advance. If you are considering getting your first wax, Christina is the one to go to. She will make you feel at ease and you will want to go back again and again.
She is a little on the pricey side, but I go to her when I want to feel pampered. -

There's a promotion going on one once a month from Goldstar for Christina Christner's 1 hour customized facial and massage. Reservations and offers takes up fairly quickly, so make sure to check it out every now and then. I purchased the 1 hour customized facial from Goldstar for $47 not including the fee and tips. The fee is around $7 and a decent tip I would say would be 20%. Because I purchased it half off, I tipped 50%.
This place is located downtown on W Julian Street. There's a row of homes that are made for businesses and in front of the homes, there are parking meters. I luckily found a parking space right in front of the place and arrived about 20 minutes early. Desiree greeted me (she was also my esthetician) and made me fill out a questionaire before starting. While doing the questionaire, I took a look around and the place is beautiful! Very clean, cozy and comfortable.
For my personalize facial, I was taken into a very nice room and Desiree gave me a few minutes to change into the attire that are made easy to work on my face and decollete.
So...the reasons why I only gave 3 stars:
The bed I laid on was heated on too high, too high that I was sweating throughout the procedure.
The steam machine was too close to my face, which made it very difficult to breath.
My esthetician didn't ask me if I'm on any medications, so I had to inform her beforehand I was on topical medication call Differin. She didn't know what it was, ironically...
We had to skip 2 facial masks because my skin started burning from each. I felt bad because I wasted the products and I complained about the steam being too hot :(
So...the reasons why I gave the 3 stars:
Her hands were like magic. I never experianced such a great massage in my life. When it was over, I checked the time and it was more than 60 minutes - I was there for approx. 100 minutes. That was the reason why I tipped 50%. -

I've been here twice, once for a massage and the other time for a facial. I have to say I prefer facials in general and thought she gave me a great one! Christina is really sweet and makes you feel right at home. I found her through goldstar and was able to get a great deal.
The cottage is a little hard to find but is beautifully decorated and maintained. - the atmosphere is serene. I definitely recommend coming here for a day of pampering! Just make sure you make an appointment well in advance as she's really busy! -

I have serious problems. I don't plan ahead and once I decide I want something, I'm on a quest to get it! So I woke up that day feeling really ugly with clogged skin and knew I had to get a facial ASAP. I called my usual places ( Lavish Wellness in Campbell or Blu Cocoon Med Spa) and they were booked. So I went on Yelp on a review mission to find the next best thing. I made an appointment at Plum Spa after trying some other places with no luck. But then I cancelled when Christina called me back. I'm so glad she actually cares about her clients and was prompt in returning calls! She was able to fit me into her schedule by moving things around.
She has a room at Bloom Beauty Boutique which actually is in a kinda odd plaza but once you get inside, it's totally different. Very relaxing with cute chic vintage decor.
She uses Ilike Organic Skin Care (http://www.szepelet.com/). From what I learned, Ilike is a new company which uses the same line of products as Eminence Organic Skincare. The only difference is a variance in products (but still organic) and the names/branding, obviously.
She asked me what is the one thing I want to change about my skin or see in my skin. I told her all my concerns and she went to work on my facial. Deep cleansing with extractions, mask, serum, eye contour cream, lip balm, etc.
I felt very relaxed and comfortable. Christina is very knowledgeable and friendly. You can totally ask her any skin questions no matter how stupid. Even go off on tangents about restaurants or shopping. She's like your good friend who will give you a makeover but actually has the expertise so you can trust that she won't mess up and make you look like a monster in the end.
An extra star for carrying Jan Marini eyelash conditioner! http://www.janmarini.c... I had finally decided to suck it up and risk the $160 to try this in hopes that my eyelashes would grow (they are traumatized from my eyelash perm gone wrong at HerbalMineral - another story! What's a girl to do? Getting married in a France in a small village and can't even speak the language nor find one in time. I did not want to be left with more than a melty, smudgy, clown face going down the aisle. But there was good news: Makeup artist Christina Christner makes house calls, even to the small village of Gimont, France.
Thank you so much for making me look beautiful on my special day. I appreciate your service especially when you went out of your way to fly all the way to France to help me out of my dilemma. I will surly recommend you to all my friends and family.
My face turned out beautiful thanks to Christina. It was easy to tell her what I wanted and she was so patient. She gives a lot of personal attention to your needs. She brought along custom-blended cosmetics (like lip gloss and foundation)
Christina's a god scent for accommodating emergency cases, and she's happy to take inspiration from your own stash when creating your finished look. I suggest, that you book at least one week in advance. Because, at this point, you wouldn't want to push your luck. As the example from above, she makes house calls, she's super low-key in a cords-and-Converse kind of way, and her focus is skin: It's all about creating that perfect, flawless "Were you born that way?" look, No B.S., No cheese And she's fun to hang with. Most important, she understands that when you ask for a natural look, you mean the best possible version of yourself.
She's had her salon open since March of this year. She's also open for business at your place -- or anywhere in the Bay area, for that matter -- with a pro arsenal stocked great products such as Ilike Organic, and PCA among others (according to her, a great pick for preserving your skin). -

I was able to get a 60 min personalized massage through Goldstar Events. I don't think I would have gone to see Christina otherwise since usually this massage costs $95. But now that I have been, she is totally worth the money!
I got there a bit early like it stated in my confirmation but the place was locked. I called Christina and left her message to let her know I was there. Couple of minutes later she opened the door and let me in. Her previous appointment went a little long. She greeted me with a handshake and a smile. I filled out a data form and she offered me some water served in a champagne flute. We talked about which areas I wanted her to work on, how much pressure I liked and what not.
Her workspace is really cute with soft lighting, some fabric draped across the ceiling and has relaxing music playing and of course, a massage table. She tells you to take as many clothes off as you feel comfortable so it's up to you if you want to go in your Birthday Suit or if you want some modesty and leave some underoos on. You lay between two sheets and she comes in to get started.
She's really good about getting the knots out and uses different techniques, deep tissue, shiatsu etc. to your comfort level. She asked if the pressure was ok, if I felt ok etc. She makes sure you are at ease. We talked a lot. Probably more than you should during a massage but we had a lot to talk about, vacations, hobbies, significant others, etc. In fact, I even sent her a follow-up email with some information we discussed during the massage. She's really personable and friendly. But if you want a quiet massage, she does that too. After a while I got so relaxed that I didn't talk at all and she was totally cool with it.
The 90 minutes went by and I felt great after. She leaves the room for you to get dressed and meets you out front with water and you can sit and relax for a bit if you want. She explains how it's important to drink lots of water so the toxins can drain from your body. I would definitely go back to her again and have recommended her to some people already.
Bloom Beauty is located in the strip mall on the corner of Willow and Bird, next to a closed AARP and a small supermarket.
She sends a thank you card afterwards and includes a smaller card that solicits reviews on yelp. Her card says "It's good to be yelped by you." or something like that where she asks that you review her services. -

Christina is amazing! She gave me the BEST massage I ever had.
I have just moved to the area and was looking fora great spa, to get a body massage as well as a reflexology foot massage, and I found it!!
I lived in Vegas before moving here and I've been to all the best spas over there, but nothing compare to her massage.
I can't put it into words you have to see for yourself.
Amazing experience!! I will definitely be back for the same 90 minutes massage at least one or twice a month. And I will also try her facial next time. -

Christina will provide you with the ultimate spa service! I received a facial with Christina a week ago and was by far the best one I have ever had. Christina is extremely knowledgeable about skin care and massage. The scalp, neck, arms, and shoulder massage was a wonderful bonus. She uses top quality products (I loved the apple masque). I would definitely recommend Christina to anyone who is interested in a fantastic spa experience.
Update: I went and had another facial with Christina, it was excellent to say the least. Every time I leave Christina's I feel refreshed, relaxed and my skin looks great. I bought the Tahitian Flower Body Butter, its awesome! Can't wait to go back. -

Based on the Yelp reviews I visited Christina recently for a brow wax and a consultation before scheduling a facial. She is a delightful professional and her treatment room is lovely and conducive to relaxation. I am looking forward to my facial next week, and plan to schedule a massage after that.
Update 2/23: Wow, the facial was fabulous! The entire experience was relaxing and rejuvenating. Loved the products, the technique, the ambience, the results, chatting with Christina, and the neck and shoulder massage during the facial (boy did I need that!). I've never had really good results with a facial until this experience. Scheduled next appointment on the spot. Thanks, Christina!
Further update: after another wonderful facial I bought a few of the products. No pressure at all to do so, but I really liked the feel and the results after two times, so I decided to try a few products. So far, so good! -

Christina is awesome! I went here with my friend 2 weeks ago and we had the best experience! She is very knowledgeable and her fingers are so light when she removes your blackheads it doesn't hurt at all. My friend got the personal massage and it was fabulous!
Since then I have been using the products she recommended and I definitely feel and see a difference in my face.
I am definitely going back again . I already scheduled my next facial.
I highly recommend her to all women who wants to feel and look great!

I have been getting extensions for some time. The person (Karol in Los Gatos) I normally go to was out of town for a month. I decided to check out this location. As much as I like her personality and friendliness, I didn't have a good experience. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure people have had a lot of good experiences. The extensions I got were really uncomfortable in just the left eye. I also had issues the lashes in the very inner corner of my eyes.
I went back a second time, which fixed the issue temporarily. At least I wasn't charged a second time, which was nice. I still had pain in my left eye. It came to a point where I was pulling on the lashes and trying to get the pain to go away. In the process, I lost some of my real lashes.
I went back to Karol and she said the work wasn't done right and that there was white stuff (the glue) which was stuck to the lashes. I really don't know what happened with the lashes or if the problems with what Karol said was true, but at least everything is ok now. -

Best facial I have ever had... in my past, facials have always been painful and not relaxing. I had the 90 minute facial, Christina was very good. No pain and very relaxed the entire time.
I love the products she uses! To top it off, Christina did not push the products on me, just suggested I buy what I needed and gave me some samples to try.

Christina greeted me with an enormous smile when I showed up for my first ever facial, and led me back to her treatment room - a wonderful oasis of calm, with muted colors, lowered lights, and easy cool music playing in the background.
All through my hour long treatment she was incredibly attentive and thorough. I never realized that I had rosacea - which would be why I turn bright red when I work out or stress out... Christina explained this to me, and tailored my facial to relieve the redness. I love it when I can learn something new AND have it addressed. Her shoulder, neck, and hand massage were Lovely... the perfect pressure in just the right spots.
As is the general consensus in other reviews, I emerged from her care absolutely glowing! I loved the smell of the cherry moisturizer lingering on my skin. The products she uses and offers are wonderful, on par her professional, friendly, and effective treatment. Skin care at this point in my life is a bit of a luxury, but I am definitely looking forward to going back - my skin felt brand new.
Christina was Genuinely interested in my well being and effortlessly provided me with top notch care for which I will definitely return. -

Lucky me! Out in San Jose visiting my sister and in desperate need of a massage, I turned to Yelp and happened upon Christina Christner. I walked three miles from downtown San Jose to find the charming Bloom Beauty Boutique and the simultaneously charming and professional Christina Christner. She greeted me with a big smile and a champagne glass filled with much-needed water before my incredible massage.
I don't treat myself to massages as often as I'd like, but I have been fortunate to have experienced a number of excellent (sometimes transcendent) massages in my lifetime. Christina's ranked among the very best for several reasons:
1) Amazing ability to hone in on tough spots while not neglecting the rest: I walked into that spa a total mess -- an understatement -- with two long flights/travel days in the previous two days, too many hours hunched over my computer and jewelers bench, and an awful stiff neck for several weeks. Christina somehow made me feel both relaxed and energized, and miraculously took away most of my neck pain. I am truly amazed.
2) Focus on the feet and hands: Normally I find attention to the feet an hands somewhat of an annoying waste of precious massage time -- so the fact that I am listing it here says a lot. Christina has a great knowledge of reflexology and makes this part of the massage really count.
3) Professionalism and caring: It was clear to me just a few minutes into my massage that Christina is a smart and dedicated professional who not only cares about giving a great massage, but also cares deeply about the health and well being of her clients.
I highly recommend spending 90 minutes on Christina Christner's massage table. Best $130 I've spent in a very long time. I only wish I lived closer to Christina so that I could return often... -

I found Christina through Yelp and am very happy that I was able to find such a talented person. I went to Christina looking to get some eyelash extensions last minute and she was able to accommodate me at 5pm even though her day ended at 6pm. She did an awesome job on my lashes (I even fell asleep through the process) and my eyelashes are still 90% in tact after 4 weeks.
Great technique, great lashes, and a very reasonable price (I compared her price to other places). I would highly recommend her for anyone looking to get eyelash extensions. -

You know that fearful feeling when your current service provider, whom you trust to perfect whatever skill they've provided for your beauty regimen, ends up not being able to continue their services? Well, let me share my story with you: I had found my now-former aesthetician, Michelle, originally through YELP for eyelash extension services since I moved to the Bay Area. Michelle was incredible in her work on my nearly non-existent Asian lashes. The only caveat was that Michelle is now expecting her first child and is out on maternity leave (much love and light!) This beautiful life moment left me sans extension services so here's where my dilemma started. Not knowing where to turn, I, once again, started my search on YELP and to my absolute delight found a gem in Christina!
Not that I had any doubts, seeing that all the reviews for Christina were extremely positive, however, I didn't know whether Christina specialized in eyelash extensions. Relying on the strength and conviction of my fellow YELPers, I gave Christina a call to schedule an appointment.
At this point, I needed a full set of new lashes and had concerns that the prices may not be comparable. To my delight, not only was the price very reasonable (I'll explain further) but Christina did an amazing job on my (saying again) non-existent Asian lashes. From the previous applications of lashes, I had pulled off the remaining set (and many of my own lashes) due to an unsightly (get it?!) eye infection which had left the remaining lashes little to be desired.
No problem! Christina made them full and sweeping, just the way I'd imagined them to be had I'd had some of my own lashes still intact. This was some sort of miracle worker, I tell you!
The pricing was also reasonable seeing that I was getting the full treatment of having a brand new set of lashes applied in addition to a 7-day complimentary follow-up appointment where Christina helps touch up some of the loose/missing lashes.
Christina's spa is located in the heart of downtown in a beautiful and historic cottage which brings a sense of total calm and relaxation as soon as you walk through the doors, ushered by wind chimes into the open foyer. Each of the rooms inside the cottage is beautifully anointed with its own unique sense of antiquated charm, from the original walls and crown molding to the Tiffany styled mosaic stained-glass window.
If you're looking for a place to detach from the hecticness of the everyday rush in addition to fantastic eyelash extension services, I'd highly recommend giving Christina a call and scheduling an appointment. Seeing that Christina travels a lot for her professional development, it's best to contact her as soon as you can and to book well in advance! Christina accommodated her busy work/travel/life schedule to fit me in for the complimentary 7-day touch up, and for that, I'm truly grateful! Definitely looking forward to my next appointment with her and perhaps indulging in some of the plethora of other services she offers! -

I found Christina by searching Yelp. I am someone who needs a good massage about every 3-4 weeks. I couldn't find any place locally that could suit my needs, my back gets tight and really needs work. After bouncing around Fremont, I went to Yelp and tried to find someone. Christina was the answer. She does a wonderful job and listens to what is hurting me. I recently strained my back doing some heavy lifting around the house. I immediately felt the difference after a one hour massage. I could bend over without any pain and I could walk and not feel any pain or strain in my lower back.
I've definitely found my new masseuse. Most places you go to simply gloss over and do a routine rather than focus on the areas that need attention. Christina customizes the massage to what you need. What more can you ask for when you need a little relief?
The location is convenient, though it's a bit of a drive for me. It's tucked away in a small salon and if you aren't paying attention, you'll miss it. The place is quiet, parking is easy, and the atmosphere is relaxing which is what you need when you're hurting. Her prices are very fair, I've certainly paid more in the past for massages. All in all, I am extremely satisfied. -

I recently went to Christina's spa to get my eye lashes touched up. I had previously went to La Belle in Stanford for the initial placement of the lashes and a touch up a few weeks after. After feeling like I was over charged for my touch up ($250 for my initial set and $140 for my touch up), I decided I needed to find another spa with a better price. Note, my touch up at La Belle was only 2 weeks after my initial and I took really good care of my lashes so I didn't expect the $140 bill at the end of my service.
I'm so glad I found Christina! She did a wonderful job touching up my lashes and charged a VERY reasonable fee. Let's say it was less than 1/2 what La Belle charged. I felt she really took great care with my eyes during the appointment. My eyes were very watery and she was very careful in making sure the glue adhered to my lashes. Needless to say, I will be going back to see Christina the first chance I get! -

Just back from my massage + facial with Christina. She has a super cute cottage which smells sooo good. I had the full body massage first which was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. She has a heated bed with lovely fresh smelling linens on it. I lay there listening to soothing music . She worked every inch of my tired body starting with my neck, shoulders, hands, legs and finally my back. I have never had my legs massaged before & all I can say is WOW. I have never felt this good...
I was actually a tad embarrassed since I had not waxed expecting the massage to be only for my back. ( Sorry christina! & thank you for making me feel comfortable)
As soon as the massage was done, she started my facial. She used a cleanser on my face, applied various hydrating masques and steamed my face. She cleaned up my pores and massaged my face and head. All that warm steam and massaging lulled me into a nice nap. I woke up and she was finishing up. She applied a nice moisturizer and a lip balm.
I like the fact that she uses organic products and they smell darn good. She does not push products on you and is very professional. I don't want to try anyone else.She is the best and I am definitely going back1 Previous Review: Show all »

I just came in for a mother's day pampering spa session but went to the wrong location. Christina's location sort of hard to find and around a rundown section of downtown San Jose, However, once I found the place she was so warm and welcoming. She even ran out and paid the meter for my parking! Talk about great service!
I received the 1 hr massage and it was one of the best I've ever had. Then got the 30 min facial that came with the mini retreat. While she was doing that she also used a dead sea masque on my hands and feet. I didn't really notice the difference after on my hands and feet, but i did notice the skin on my face is definitely hydrated and glowing. She explained what I needed to do to keep up my skin care.

I recently went to Christina for a personalized facial and some waxing. From the moment I walked into her place I began to feel relaxed - there was soothing music, it was very clean, and the spa was so cute!
Christina was great, she made me feel really comfortable during the whole process and was very knowledgeable about her profession. She told me what was wrong with my skin, suggested a personalized treatment in which she explained the functions of the facial, and gave me tips on how to care for my skin at home. She was really fun to talk to, but also knew when to stop, so I could relax.
Overall, best facial I've ever had! The products she used were mostly organic and felt great on my skin. When I walked out of there I could immediately feel the difference - my skin felt like a baby's! I had been having some acne problems, but a couple of days after the treatment my skin improved dramatically. I can finally go out without having to conceal all the blemishes.
Definitely try a facial from Christina, you wont regret it!! -

Christina's work is amazing!
Christina makes my lashes just the way I want:) natural and charming but gorgeous. She is very friendly and nice so she makes you feel very comfortable. This place is very clean and organize, and smell good. Price costs a bit but it's totally worth.
I strongly recommend her. -

Christina is the best. I came there for a facial/massage and right from the moment I stepped into the spa I felted pampered. It's located in a super cute cottage like house, it's very clean and just pleasant to all the senses. Christina is such a gifted bodyworker, she definitely has the magic touch. I found myself falling in and out of sleep as she was working on my face and when she worked on my upper back I felt all the tension melt away. You can tell she is passionate at what she does and genuinely cares about you as a person. I highly recommend her!!!!

Where should I start about Christina. Hmm... she is excellent!
Any questions I asked about skin care ..she fired a valid answer right back at me. So, she is definitely knowledgeable about what she does. Oh, yes her massages during the facials are amazing and I can't wait to try a full massage with her. I really like that she uses organic products for facials. What I love the most is she never tries to push products on me like most other people do.
I actually created a yelp account specially to write about her since I found her on here.
I tried a full massage with Christina and it was amazing. She has some power in those hands. Can't wait to get another one! -

Christina is absolutely amazing. She has very gifted hands and I feel like I'm in heaven every time I get a massage from here. I found her through Goldstar and was able to book a massage here for half the price. She generally charges $95 for a 60 minutes massage. I believe only her assistant, Gina, handles the Goldstar customers now and she handles the regular priced customers. Both are very good, but Christina provides the best massage I've ever experienced. She gives the right pressure and never waste a minute of your time. If you've ever tried to give your man a massage, you know it's tough work. Definitely well worth the full price and 25% tips!

All the five star reviews are right. From the moment you walk in the door, it's obvious that Christina and Gina value their customers. I found Christina through http://goldstar.com and made an appointment for an incredible price. Even though my massage was half-off, I still got one of the best massages of my life. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I can't wait to go back!

I have had the opportunity to work with Christina on several different levels, most recently out of her adorable cottage in the Rose Garden on my Bridal clients. She goes above and beyond for every person she comes in contact with, in and outside her business. Her day Spa is beautifully decorated and maintained. She retails unique, high end products you wont find elsewhere. I recommend her services to anyone looking to be pampered and treated to only the best.

i've waited long enough to review this place. 3.5 stars.
one thing i like about Christina is her professionalism.
i came to my appointment right on time. she had me fill out some paperwork that took less than 5 minutes. after that, we went straight to relaxing. though there wasn't much pampering. i feel that the massages in between were such a tease...i only wish there was more.
Christina did impressed me with her knowledge about skin. she told me why my skin was half dry and half oily...she also told me what to do and what not to do. good tips. thanks.
i wasn't interested in spending loads of money on skin care products that i'm too lazy to use regularly....and Christina wasn't pushy about me purchasing them either...but i think she did gave me a strange look as i left. then again, i didn't get any samples to try. especially her products are new to me.
the place is very clean and tidy. atmosphere is sooooo relaxing. i wish i could nap there longer. -

I met Christina at the chiropractor's office. She is currently my massage therapist. After talking with Christina, I found out that massage therapy is not her only profession. She is also an aesthetician, so I decided to do a chemical peel with Christina and I was very satisified. I never done a chemical peel before so I was quite nervous. Christina was very professional and knowledgeable with her products and services. I really enjoy talking wtih her during each of my visit with her. She is very approachable and friendly. I would recommend her to all of my friends.

Okay I am new to this area and it did take me awhile to get to her and I was late so i felt really bad!. She wasn't stressed at all and made me feel at home.... I had a wonderful massage and the conversation was nice..... I felt so relaxed and it was desperately needed...

This spa was beyond charming!!! I recently moved to the South Bay from San Francisco and found this place on yelp. It lived up to it's excellent reviews and beyond. First of all the place is beautiful and couldn't be a more comfortable, warm, and peaceful environment. Christina gave me a wonderful facial that left my skin looking revitalized and relaxed. She gives the best massages too while you have your facial masks on. The whole experience was really great and I feel so happy to have found such a place. I look forward to my next appointment. Christina pays incredible attention to detail with every treatment I have ever received. From facials to massages she customizes the services depending on my needs at that time. Everytime I visit her, I leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, my skin and body absolutely love her. I would highly recommend her and her products. I found Christina through Yelp. So far, she has done my eyelash extensions, wedding makeup, and facials. Below is review on all three services; I hope it helps you out.
Eyelash Extensions:
I initially only planned to have the eyelash extensions for my wedding, but they're fantastic! I have had them for almost 6 months. So the first appointment cost me a pretty penny (roughly ~ $250), but Christina uses the best lashes so it's totally worth it. A big plus! With Christina I was able to come back within 14 days of my first appointment for a free touch-up which included making them a bit thicker. Fabulous! Christina is also very accommodating with her schedule; I have had my touch-up appointments during my lunch break, late in the evenings and on weekends! She is very gentle and NEVER and I mean NEVER rushes through an appointment (even if she's running late). The quality of Christina's work is amazing!
Wedding Make-Up:
She immediately responded to my emails in regards to a make-up artist for my wedding. She was completely honest and sent me all the information including a few tips to help improve my skin. I did take a few weeks to decide, but as soon as someone else was inquiring about the date, she sent me a follow up email. Christina has always been very professional, honest and straightforward with me. The trial session went great! Christina came to my house fully prepared (she has a lot of make-up and I mean a lot!!). Everything that came out of her bags/ suitcase looked very clean (in-fact brand new). I was totally comfortable. She took her time, asked me pertinent questions about the wedding and was constantly trying to make sure I was happy with what she was doing. Her prices are very competitive; however, her quality outshines almost all! Thanks Christina!!
Facials:
Oh my gosh!! I read the yelp reviews on her facials; however, I couldn't believe they could be that great (sorry Christina I doubted you)...but they are!! In fact, they're amazing!! All the reviews are true...the amazing mini massage...Christina NEVER leaves the room (she is always working on you or preparing her next step)...the relaxing atmosphere...everything...a great investment....a great facial! I came out feeling like my skin was completely brand new. I had previously gone to Liz at Lavish in Campbell every three weeks to try to control my acne (a period of 4 months) and it didn't improve much. After only two sessions (every 4 weeks) with Christina my acne is almost under control. She has given me tips on cleaning my make-up brushes, cleansing my face at home, and controlling my breakouts (especially those big pimples that pop out of nowhere!). I had told her my goal is to not wear so much cover-up makeup, and I'm positive we are going to reach that goal; I look forward to my next appointment every time! -

WOW!.... yea I don't care what people say getting waxed effin hurts! however that being said Christina's wax was fabulous! I was able to make an appointment the day before which was great for me. Plus she is very good about returning voicemail messages. I had a question about pricing after I made my appointment and she called me back within the hour and was really sincere and helpful. I scheduled a full leg and bikini wax. I recently had surgery and couldn't move much, Christina was extremely accommodating and got very "creative" to help me get the best wax, not to mention it had been a while...a long while since there was any removal. And despite it all she never complained, sighed, or treated me poorly. She was a great conversationalist, very friendly and very efficient. She double checked all her work and did her best to make sure everything was silky smooth. Also during the bikini she asked me exactly what I wanted and just like she was trimming hair asked if I liked everything and did any needed touchups. She made a an uncomfortable task a delightful experience. And again kudos to her for taking on such a difficult client (me) with a smile! Plus bonus for me her service and smile were totally affordable! Definitely coming back for round two in a month!
EDIT: Christina has moved to a new space downtown San Jose, SOOO much more convenient Its such a great space larger than her last! Same great service with a better location! Take a walk in the park on a sunny day then waltz in for a fantastic massage which I recently tried. Still recovering from surgery she was gentle when needed but also shiatsu-ed the heck out of my neck when needed...I didn't even have to ask she's very response to where your body need conditioning! Screw the doctor and get a massage instead :)
