I was double-teamed today by Kathy and Joanne. Kathey performed a gentle pedicure which I greatly appreciate. Joanne provided a great haircut that was out of the ordinary. I showed Joanne some pictures of a military style I wanted to try and she took it and ran with it. She was able to make a substantial change to my style of hair cut and I'm really happy with the results. Thanks to both Kathy and Joanne. See you guys very soon!

I got a mani/pedi here once and was very disappointed. It seemed very unsanitary. I really don't know how anyone could be ok with the condition of things. I'm not saying this to be snobby. I don't care if their are a few scufs on the walls and I like a good deal as much as the next girl, but this place creeped me out. To top it off they didn't have a dyer to dry your nails with. I have never been to a place that didn't even have a nail dyer. Maybe it was broken or the girl didnt mention it but they left me to sit there and wait for it to dry.
With all the horror stories you hear about people getting infected at nail salons I think its best not to take any chances. I did not get an infection, but was unable to relax durring my pedicure because it was all I could think about.
It's been a while since I went there so hopefully things have changed. She did do a nice job with the polish which is why I give them 2 stars. -

I've gone to this salon for mani-pedis for years only because it is low-key, cheap, you can walk in without an appointment, and two out of three of the ladies are nice.
I went two days ago and for the second time in a row my polish was done poorly. I brought my own OPI but it seems as though they are using extremely cheap base & top coats that ruin the look & longevity of the polish. Really disappointed.
It was cleaner this time overall, but it still isn't that clean. The floor is usually pretty dirty, but today it was cleaner. However, there were fine hairs floating in my pedi water, probably from the woman who was there right before me. I did see one of them scrub down the other chair before the next person came so I do know that they clean them. The towels are often stained and they don't change the towels at the drying station unless you ask (and even then she only turned it inside out).
As someone else noted, the chairs are a little ragged, and the place is often dusty, though it looked less dusty this last time.
If you decide to go because it is cheap expect them to push callous remover cream for $5 extra if your heels are cracked ( and it doesn't work so save your money). Pay cash or they will charge an extra $1 to use a credit card. Personally, I've decided to look for another salon. -

Really depends what you're getting here.
I came in a few months ago and got a full set w/white tips and I was very happy with Cathy's work. She really listened to me & gave me exactly what I wanted!
Last week I decided to go back for a fill on another set of nails I got at Elite Nails. I wasn't too happy with their service there, so I came back here. Thinking it would be great.
I decided to get a pedicure with it since valentines day is coming up. The spa part was good, the polish job was great but when she put a design on it was hideous! I asked for hearts & it turned out ugly =\
I guess she just needs to stick to flowers!
I went out about two hours later and my pedicure got totally messed wearing my heels.
Then she did the fill, it seemed as though she was doing a good job. But immediately after I left I could see the fill line & less than a week later almost all nails are lifting =\
Definitely not satisfied. I don't like to complain, I am just telling the truth.
I will continue the search for the best price & service nail salon near by! And keep posting =] -

I came here after studying at Fullerton College. Yes, I have a B.A. in history but pursuing math to be like Jaime Escalante. Anyways, the place was very comfortable and homely. The parking lot is small but I came on a Saturday in March so it was a breeze. There was only a couple of stylist that day but I was in and out quickly.
I recieved a great haircut, my usual flat top. She gave me a business card and I will be back when I am in the area and looking for a haircut.
They offered a variety of services as mentioned in the other reviews but I do not get pedicures, waxes or hair dyes. -

I like the way they did my nails. :) Very friendly and cheap! Its like a hole in the wall spot, but they do take their time to do your nails

As for my mani/pedi this is the place to go, just always ask for Kathy she will take her time and give you what you want the others seem rush.

I stumbled upon this place with a friend when I lived in downtown Fullerton. It's a great place if you need a cheap mani-pedi or eyebrow wax in a hurry. Prices are decent and you can just walk in whenever.
There are only 2 spa pedicure chairs so that's a bummer if you bring girlfriends. But they always do quality work in a short amount of time. Plenty of nail polishes to choose from. They mostly use OPI but they also have others.
I have had my eyebrows done here by Joanne. She's very nice and always makes time for you. She has pictures of different brow shapes in the waxing room so that you can show her exactly the shape you want. She's fast & gentle. Not the best eyebrow wax I've ever had but I would recommend her to others.
I've noticed people come in to get their hair cut. I've seen that their prices are inexpensive but I don't think I would get my haircut here unless I was a guy or a little kid.
Bummer about this place was that they charge you a $1.00 transaction fee if you pay with debit/credit card. So try and remember to bring cash.
Lauren J. mentioned the boobies that you'll see when you're here and she is SO right! Some of the lovely ladies that work here have a style all their own. Be prepared to see low cut tops ,skin tight pants, excessive jewelry, sky high heels, etc. Not all the ladies wear sexy things but a few do. Not offensive or anything but kinda entertaining. -

This was my nail salon when I lived in that area of Fullerton. The women are all very sweet and it's cheap! The quality of work is awesome, especially for being so inexpensive! They do hair too...I got my hair dyed there after one of my terrible experiences with doing it myself. Sigh. I will never learn. A lot of men come in for hair cuts probably because the women are, how do I say...well endowed in the chest area thanks to surgical procedure.
It's located on Chapman, keep a look out cause it's easy to pass! They do have parking in the back so you don't need to park on the street unless it's really busy. -

I first dropped in because it was close to school & I needed an affordable haircut. Since then I always come by when I need to tame the mane.
I'm sure it depends on who you deal with, but I always get my hair cut with Joanne. Before I found this place, I was getting my hair cut at a different place every time. Joanne has a high attention to detail, and I never feel like the hair cut is being rushed.
As a guy this is the perfect place for me: I'm able to get the attention to detail that comes with going to a salon, but without high prices and the awkward out-of-place feeling. -

DIRTY!!!! Walked in and took one look around and walked out. Everything was dirty. All furniture is broken and you can see the filth marked all over it. Staff was pushy to get u to sit down and out your feet in fast buy i looked into spa chair and inside that was dirty. Definitely as it stands in it's current condition for people who CLEARLY do not value cleanliness or hygiene. Honestly it's not even like you can justify oh it's cheap so it's dirty u get what u pay for sort of thing, nope just dirty cos the prices are WAY too high for such a dump.

This is my favorite little nail spot. It is actually spelled CHRISCHELLE BELLE. I regularly visit Cathy because she's THE BEST! I get spa pedicures and she's way efficient and makes these really cute designs..custom work! The other ladies, Tanya and Jennifer and Joanne do hair and waxing....but I don't partake in these activities here. I leave that to the steady stream of older men that like to get scalp massages and ogle some breasteses. And yes, there are breasteses. Everywhere. You'll see! The ladies in this business are very nice though and it seems like they NEVER close. Just don't take 6 of your best girlfriends in there for mani/pedis because it's not that kind of place (2 spa pedicure chairs). Oh...there's a $1 charge if you use a card.

Okay forget the boobs for a second. I went there the other day for the first time and I would not say the staff there was in any way unusual, just a few older Vietnamese women, as you would expect in a place like this. The reason to go there is because you can get a good haircut cheaply, and you aren't in some soulless supercuts or something.
Now generally I'm the type to not really care about how my hair looks, as long as it is easy to deal with. What I *do* like is a scalp massage when I get my hair washed. I lived in Asia for years, and one of the great things about the entire eastern portion of that continent is the institution of the scalp massage when getting a haircut. Well, Joanne, the woman who cut my hair, did the scalp massage thing expertly...she had the required fingernails of steel and everything. I only wish it had lasted longer.
Then, as a bonus, my wife says my hair looks really good, and she DOES care about such things. I believe her when she says nice things about how I look. Compliments don't come easily from her in that department.
So why not more stars? Well, the place could be a bit cleaner, and it could be WAY friendlier. Part of it was language barrier I guess (I don't speak Vietnamese and these women weren't long on English), but even a "hello" would have been nice. Something just slightly more than the grunt of acknowledgment that I got. But that really isn't that big of a deal...in fact if they were too chatty I'd probably have not been happy about that, so I guess there's no pleasing me. All in all this place passes the "would I come back" test as far as I'm concerned.
