Chris B went all out in the newest edition.

Cherries, sauce, cheesecake filling, chocolate cakes, and sprinkled with little sugar paillettes.

Lovely.

It is a hard one, but I think I prefer the lighter version as well; however I am giving 5 stars for his wonderful yelperific cake.  Note: Beanie loved both versions equally.

Chris B. brought along a bigger batch of cupcakes to Simon's for the Sacramento Yelpers March Meet Up compared to the January event.

This time around, Chris treated us to a maraschino cherry floating in a sweet glaze atop a cream cheese center-filled chocolate cupcake, all housed in a specially crafted carrier tray!  A good blend of flavors which surprisingly did not come out to be as overly sweet as it sounds.

I'm rounding up from 4.5 stars, only because each 03/07 yelpcake was heftier and more filling than the 01/07 ones, and I prefer lighter desserts, especially after a filling meal from Simon's.
