Took my wife for a burger (Tavern Fare) and some drinks to watch the football game and had a great time.  Good selection of "pub food," good service, fun bar area with lots of TVs, all comprise a good experience.  It's much nicer than a sports bar, but a fun place to have good grub and hang out.

She had a burger, I had a portobello mushroom burger, both very good.  They gave us a side of corn bread, which was great!  A small slice of apple pie for dessert, niiice ;-)

No steaks for us, but the tavern is a good stop.

I only went here for happy hour before venturing downtown for a baseball game and I had a great time! It was pretty empty, but only because I don't think many people know about their great happy hour deals.

All tapas type plates are $2!!! We got 2 prime rib 'tacos' for $2! OMG soooo good. The potato skin was awesome as well as hummus and the mussles. (remember... for $2!).

So even though the drink specials weren't great, we could afford some since the food was dirt cheap and delish!

People need to start checking out this place for HH!!! (sit in the bar area)

Only went there once, last year for the Boulder restaurant week.  We had whatever it was that they offered for the Restaurant week menu.  It sucked.  I've had better steak at Denny's.  I don't know if they were trying to squeeze profit out of the "reduced" price, so they went to Wal-mart for their grizzliest meat.  I thought the purpose of the restaurant week was to get you in and try to entice you to come back again.  They really failed at that!
Perhaps, it's a fine enough restaurant any other time.  I won't be givining a chance though.  It ain't the only steak in town.

Easily the best steak in Boulder. This was the restaurant we all wanted to go to whenever anyone's parents would visit them during college. Amazing steak, good fish, delicious cornbread, and tasty sides. Oh, and save room for dessert- they are delicious too! So make sure to wear your Sunday best and come hungry, bc the amount of food that will wind up on your plate, could satisfy even the hungriest of all college students.

I dreamed about The Chophouse last night, folks.  And I'll tell you one thing, it was not nearly as fabulous in my dream.  That's right, nothing can outdo the shining personality of The Chophouse, which will certainly shine through in shinning silverware (though in rolls) and servers dressed to the nines.  (I know because I work here).  and the food?  Well, the food is just delicious.  Try the Catch of the day, or Amanda's vegetarian daily special.  And remember that you will love it.  A steakhouse of sorts, but great atmosphere.  Classy classy classy.   The server's are hott!

Had a quiet dinner here on a cold Sunday night.  The filet that I had was very nice and my in-laws were happy with their prime rib.  They do not do fancy flavors here - just serve good quality beef.  My wife had crusted halibut that was pretty good also.

I've been here a few times and every time I must say I've loved what I ordered. I highly recommend the spinach and artichoke dip which is served just slightly warm. The onion rings are fabulous as well, slightly large (say the size of your palm) when you receive it with your main meal.

Last time I was there I ordered the filet minion where I proceeded to pretty much clean my plate. I ordered it with the side dish of mashed potatoes (delicious but I don't really eat that stuff). The sauce (i believe it was a Bearnaise sauce, I wish I remembered) on top of the meat was a bit rich and ended up feeling slightly sick (*not really in a bad way though, just a little off) so I would stay clear of that. It had a small garnishing of crab as well which was a nice touch, although made the whole meal just a bit too rich.

If your in the mood for meat though and in Boulder, this is definitely a place to try out.
