The second you walk into Choice's you're greeted by sweet middle-aged women reminding you to put money in your meter. This alone shows just how much the people here care about their customers. Choice's is the perfect store to find a gift for any occasion. I've gotten almost all of my Christmas shopping done in one trip before thanks to this store. When I had no idea what to buy my cousin for her birthday, a staff member was more than helpful and offered a plethora of suggestions. She didn't even know the girl, and she was right on!
My other favorite part of Choice's is their excellent bumper sticker collection. I honestly can't think of any other store with the selection in smart, political stickers that Choice's has. I used to have 23 stickers on my old car, and when I decided to sell it I discovered how much of a hassle scraping stickers off a bumper can be. Once I got my new car, I went straight to Choice's to choose a few simple stickers that got the point across without filling my bumper completely. This store is definitely one of the things I miss most about living in Sacramento.

You know that person at work whose cubicle is "decorated" with magnets, coffee mugs, and stickers that say things like "Don't talk to me until I've had my coffee" . They get that stuff here.
I was turned off right away when I saw a candle holder for $8.95 that I'd seen at the dollar store a few weeks earlier.
There are some soaps, candles and other bits and pieces but everything is over priced. It all kinda looks like it was bought in the clearance section at Marshalls and re-priced with the Choice's price sticker.
I had to do the opposite of my usual gift hinting. I've told my husband never to set foot in this store again.

If you're pro-choice, a feminist or think pretty much think President Skippy's an idiot. This is the shop for you.
The shop's stocked with cute artwork, cards and jewelry ( a nice place to pick up gifts) AND political tchotchkes (stickers, bumpers, etc).
It may be a bit tacky, but I've got to love a a store that carries bumper stickers that announce, "Somewhere in Texas, there's a village missing an idiot."
The store staff is sooooo nice and they used to have the cutest dog hanging out there, I think it's name was Sneakers. If you're looking for a present, let them know. The owner there has a knack for suggesting just the right thing.

Choices is the place to shop for chicks. Wife. Girlfriend. Mother. Sister. Neighbor . Friend. I've purchased a lot of "little things" at this place. My wife is always happy with the small gifts I pick up for her at Choices. It's also a fun store to browse. I like the brunette Lady at the counter, she has a wonderful sense of humor.
Valentine's Day is coming...Get over there!

I've always loved Choices and always will.
If you're looking for a unique yet non tacky gift, this is the place. They always have interesting yet practical gifts, great cards, just great stuff.
Looking for stickers a la NotherernSun.com? Go there.
The staff is always charming and delightfully helpful. Even when I'm not shopping, I'll stop in there just to get a little happy pick me up.
It's a Midtown gem.
