Chula Vista, CA
I found this place because they take VSP insurance. When I first called this place to figure out the exact location, the receptionist was very courteous and friendly. When I arrived, I was greeted by her friendly smile. I felt very welcomed as soon as I walked in.
When I first met Dr. Kikunaga, he was very accommodating due to my eye health at the time. He really helped me because I was getting a mild eye infection and only wore contacts at the time. He had a brilliant idea of giving me dailies until my eye healed and provided eye drops for me. He updated my glasses and contacts rx and even gave me an alternative contacts that would be cheaper than the ones I would normally wear.
The receptionist really helped me find frames that would fit my face. She was very honest and truly helped me find frames. I practically tried on over 30 frames and finally came across one that looks and fits well on my face. She didn't seem annoyed at all since I practically had almost all the frames she brought to me to try on the table. We just laughed it off.
The only downside to my experience was it took 3 weeks for me to get my glasses but I know it wasn't this company's fault, it was the makers. Aside from that, I would definitely recommend this place. It's the best service in East Chula Vista! -

My work decided to change our vision plan, so I had to go searching for a new optometry place. Of course, I went to yelp.
Dr. K was awesome! He was very thorough with the exam. He noticed something about my eye that none of the others ever mentioned to me... I was the last patient of the day, but I never felt I was treated that way or rushed out the door.
When I thought it wouldn't get any better than this, I met Yolanda. She is best! Usually, I am pointed in the direction of the frames and I spend hours trying to find the right size and style. Yolanda took care of me and brought all the frames that suited my face and tastes! She even threw in some frames that were different from what I would have selected. Those "different" frames ended up being the one I chose!
They have a great selection and high end brand names. The whole process went by fast and smooth! -

I have been to all types of shops from high end Las Vegas strip and Santana Row optometry shops to the ones off of Tully Rd. and Choice Vision Optometry is by far my favorite. I found a pair of glasses that fit well that I can see great out of. They shipped our glasses to my door and I could not be happier. Thank you very much Dr. Henry Kikunaga , I will see you next time I am in town for a pair of prescription sunglasses, you do the best work when it comes to finding a pair of glasses that fit.
My wife loves her Fendi prescription sunglasses too. It's hard to find prescription sunglasses that fit will and look great. Thanks for taking the time to help us both find a pair of glasses and sunglasses that look great, fit great, that we can see out of! -

Glad to find a quality Eye Dr close to my house! Making an appt was a breeze, the staff and Dr were awesome.
I was even told to bring my 5 month old in for a free eye exam.
Happy to call Dr. K my eye Dr! -

This IS as good as it gets!
Dr. Henry and his staff are not only exceedingly friendly, but courteous and highly professional. There are an array of frames, both eyeglasses and sunglasses, to choose from. The selection includes a few of my favorite eyewear designers, such as Kate Spade, Gucci, Coach and Fendi, to name a few. This I love because I wear my pair almost every day. If I have to wear them that much, I might as well invest in a good pair AND look great in them. I am seriously loving my crystal eyeglass frames!

Dr. K continues to take care of my family - my three kids and myself. The patience he shows with all of my kids is beyond outstanding. My kids know and trust him and love the extra attention he gives to them. Especially since he took the time to convert my oldest daughter at age 10 to contacts since she kept damaging her glasses. My son put Dr. K. thru the ringer trying to convince him and the machines that he really needed glasses. (He didn't but Dr. K put him thru all the tests/machines; it turned out my son really wanted glasses because other kids in school had them). :-) I can't say enough about the whole front office staff and how they are so responsive and helpful the minute you walk into the office. A great place all around and one that I truly trust with our eye care.

AhHHh! Basically, I love my glasses :).
This is a pretty BIG statement considering I've had glasses since fourth grade, and have left other offices only half excited to pick up frames I semi-liked. Dr. K helped me go through nearly all the women's frames to find the perfect fit for my face and tiny (yes, tiiiny) nose bridge. Eventually we came across a pair of crystal frames with white temples. Being pretty conservative, I would have neverrr picked out these frames on my own, but as I stated before: I love them & they work! I've already received a good amount of compliments :). And without a doubt they've made picking out clothes a lot more fun, and I can't say it's a style that many people have.. just yet! :P
During my visit I also got a new pair of contacts (RGP's) and I couldn't be more happy with the fit. Although I first got them with a slight smudge on one of the contacts, Dr. K was more than happy to look at them and get them replaced for me. I've had issues with my RGP's at other optometrists and they seem to brush it off as, "oh.. that's just how it is." So I definitely appreciated the extra service and care that Dr. K gave to make sure I was seeing comfortably and clearly.
Being a recent UCSD graduate and no longer in the SD area, I just have to say that that probably won't stop me from making an appointment with Choice Vision in my future SD visits. (Last time I was in, I already spotted a pair of sunglasses I liked :P). Their selection is great, and Dr. K and the staff know what it means to have great patient care by making sure all questions are answered and needs are met! -

I called to make an appointment the day of, and they were able to squeeze me in. Dr. Kikunaga and his staff were very friendly and helpful. I've never had an eye exam that was this thorough, and he answered all my silly questions.

Dr. K is a good man. I drove all the way from Mira Mesa to see him based on a friend's recommendation. I'd say it was worth it. (Just be careful of Google Maps' directions... they weren't right..)
Making an appointment is super easy. Just go to his website. From what I saw, availability is not a problem. Plenty of time slots to choose from.
Yolanda was working at the front desk that day, and she was really friendly and helpful in getting me started and taking care of my insurance and all.
I think it was kinda cool how Dr. K puts on your contacts for you when you're getting them fitted. (Most places make you do that yourself, right?) He has this method where you don't even feel his finger touching your eye. CRAZY. hahaha It's probably something really simple. -

What kind of optometrist is worth driving 30+ min for? Let me tell you who..and let me tell you why!! I've been going to various optometrists for the past 9 years and I've never encountered an optometrist who provides a quality of service as fine as Dr. Kikunaga's. He's the type of doctor who will strive to remember your face and doesn't treat you like "just another appointment". He has a great sense of humor that'll help you forget you're at a doctor's office! He's very personable and passionate about his job.
Besides Dr. Kikunaga, his staff is just as great!! I happened to be there when a little boy was choosing out his frames and he probably tried on over 30 different frames and the optician was still very patient and helpful. They always have a smile on their face and are attentive to your needs. They'll also make sure you're completely satisfied with your selection!
Finally, they have a wide variety of frames for you to choose from. If you're a Gucci girl like me, your Gucci frames are sitting in their office waiting for you!! I browsed through their entire selection and picked out so many frames I wanted, from Fendi's to Coach to Juicy Couture..they have it all. There were many childrens and mens frames and sunglasses as well!
Overall, I'm so glad I found Dr. Kikunaga's office and I can guarantee you'll come out satisfied with your experience as well! -

I went into Choice opt to use my Groupon and get new glasses. I aready have an optomestrist so I was worried that they were going to try to get me to buy things I didnt want or re-take my eye exam. It was nothing even close!! The young girl that works at the desk I think her name was Yolonda (I THINK) was SOOO helpful and patient. She helped me try on frames after frames and even did some research for a pair I wanted in a different color. She was very nice and didnt act like I was bothersome. When she noticed the state my sunglass box was in the doctor gladly gave me a new one. I cant wait to go pick up my glasses!

All the wonderful 5-star reviews of Choice Vision here on Yelp are what convinced me to immediately make my appointment with Dr Kikunaga without even looking at any other options. And, after having my exam and ordering my glasses, I know I have made the right decision.
The opticians at Choice Vision are as friendly and helpful as Dr Kikunaga. After my exam, I had ample time to select the RIGHT frames. I didn't feel rushed at all.
They offered to order a different color for me when I found a frame I liked, and I chose to do that. The next day the doctor called to tell me he had called the lab to determine the thickness of my lens at the outer edge. Because I had chosen a half-rim frame, he was concerned that my strong prescription would cause my lenses to look very thick, even with high-index lenses. (As it turns out, it was 6mm.) He asked me whether I'd like to continue with that frame or select a different one. This is the kind of service you won't find at Lenscrafters, JCPenney, or even many other independent shops.
When I came back in to look at frames again, Yolanda had already pulled several frames she thought I might like based on the one I had previously ordered.
I don't know how many times I've left LensCrafters (why did I keep going back??) feeling like I had the wrong prescription, I had the wrong frames, I had been swindled into buying a bunch of extra things, or that I was just another head of cattle at the abattoir.
Choice Vision epitomizes the exact opposite of that, at a fair price. What is not to like? Dr Kikunaga and his staff will be taking care of my eyes for a long time to come. -

4.75- Dr. Kikunaga (Ki-koo-nay-guh) rocks fo sho!
I have vision insurance, but don't often think about using it. This year I know I'm eligible for new frames, so I figured I'd get my eyes checked. I wasn't quite sure where to go for this, but I happened to see Choice Vision advertised up on yelp, so I figured why not.
So this place is pretty new. I think they told me they just moved in at the end of January, and you can tell. The office was well lit, and looked very up to date (not like those dingy lens crafters or nu-visions you might see at the mall). The receptionist working was very friendly and had me fill out my forms. Once we got that out of the way, it was time to meet Dr. K!
Dr. K, (Henry as friends may call him) was very kind, and did well to establish rapport with me, telling me a bit about himself, and asking about me as well. He was also very knowledgable and thorough in his explanations of what he was doing throughout the appointment. I liked how he took subject matter I have no knowledge about what so ever, and made it very easy to understand.
I also liked (though found a little strange at first) how when it came to picking frames out, the receptionist sat me down, and kind of had me model glasses. Since my wife wasn't with me, it was nice to have a woman's opinion about how my new frames were going to look.
And though I don't have kids, on my way out, I saw Dr. K give some kids some "goodie bags" for coming in that day. It's those little things that made me really enjoy my exp. with Dr. K and his staff. I would certainly recommend him to anyone in the South Bay area.

I was down in San Diego where I went to college at SDSU and checked this place out. Man this place has a really nice setup and it just so happened that my VSP plan was about to expire so they hooked me up some with acuvue oasis contacts (w/ hydraclear) and they really feel great when I wear them.
Definitely top notch service here. If it weren't for the fact that I live in the Bay Area now, I would probably come back more often. you can check out their stuff at http://www.ChoiceVisio... and tell them Van The Man sent you for a possible discount!
Thanks Dr Henry, my eyes feel great!

I have had serious issues with finding an optometrist after Classical Eye closed down in Fashion Valley. They supplied me with The Absolute Best service and eyeglasses so the bar was set pretty high. After all the reviews on Yelp, I decided to go local and try Choice Vision.
Dr. K was completely professional and thorough. The assistant who helped me pick out my glasses was really nice and honest with how different frames fit my face. I really was satisfied with the frames I selected and the service at Choice Vision. I highly recommend you see Dr. K. -

After a few bad experiences at Costco, my friends highly recommend that I should check out Choice Vision Optometry.
I have to say I was surprised with the top notch service. I had no trouble making an appointment. Dr.Kikunaga was very friendly and answered all my questions. The staff was also very helpful. I was able to get my prescription and the frames I wanted without any hassle.
Out of all of the optometry offices I've been to this would have to be the best and I recommend them to anyone. -

pros... finally get to see Dr. Henry Kikunaga in action. he is just one of the best optometrists around, he does a very complete eye exam and with all the newest equipment too. i wanted to get some new glasses and also use up my new VSP insurance benefits as well. while doing so i remembered that Dr. Kikunaga's office was pretty close to Dr. Tom Massarats office so i called and got an appointment for an eye exam.
the office is so nice and new, and he has all the cool and fancy frames for regular eyeglasses as well as for sunglasses as well. his receptionist and fashion frame consultant Marylyn, who really helped me pick out my frames. she was very patient and friendly, even laughed at my stupid jokes. but all in all this was the best experiences in getting eyeglasses ever.
cons... not a one. -

I went here on advice of my buddy Joel G. and I was not disappointed. Dr. Kikunaga and his staff rocks! The glasses that I ordered came on time, and they were right from the start. I had gone to other places, and usually had problems with the fitment of the frame. But here, they really take care of that. They measure and then measure again. They really want to make sure that the glasses you get are as custom fit for you as possible.
They also have some pretty cool hours. Love that they are open on Saturdays, and even late into the night. I had gotten the call to pick up my glasses, and they said that they would be open till about 8:30 or so that night, so not to hurry or worry. I got there with plenty of time to spare. And if anything goes wrong, just bring your glasses back and they will take care of it. I am planning on going in next week or so, my new visions package has just come in and I need some more glasses, perhaps sunglasses this time. But you can't go wrong with the products or the service here. Trust me I have worn glasses since High school and I know a good place when I "see" one. hahahah. -

I would very much recommend Dr. Kikunaga to any of my family, friends, and hopefully my own future patients (I am a medical school student). I can say without a doubt that the eye exam that I received at Choice Vision was the most thorough eye exam I have probably ever received. It was even better than at the UCSD eye center, lenscrafters, and a numerous optometry places in northern California. Dr. Kikunaga is also a very friendly and professional Dr, who is efficient and finds the best optical solution for his patients. Additionally, his staff is very helpful and friendly. Finally, the office is brand new, very beautiful, and Choice Vision has some of the best/top of the line frames available (good contact lenses also).
Cost wise Choice Vision is very affordable, especially for such a thorough exam! Thank you Dr. Kikunaga I love my new contacts, they are allowing me to study many hours without taking them off. -

Dr. Henry is an excellent doctor and gave me the professionalism and care that I had hoped for.
My previous eye doctors had cut their procedures short, and I found out from Henry that there were a number of procedures that should be done to help detect any eye issues early on. -

Dr. K's office is one of the best that I've been to. The office and styles of frames are very up to date. Unlike those places like lens crafters and such.
You don't feel like a number in his practice. Every patient is numero uno.
Nice part about his practice is that he is always looking out for the patient.
I have definatially recommend him to all my friends and family in the SD area. -

Dr. Kikunaga was very personable and genuine, and his intern and receptionist were very friendly as well. The office is new and very clean, and his office has great hours, so it is super easy for people with full time jobs to make an appointment!
I mentioned to him that I usually buy my contacts at Costco, and he told me straight up that for the ones I wear, Costco is cheaper. I really appreciated his honesty and willingness to tell me that.
An aquaintance recommended him, and I will for sure be telling my friends about him! -

Five stars? Yes! FIVE STARS all the way! Take it from me, a return customer, believe ALL the hype. Choice Vision is really the best around.
How often do you really visit & interact with your optometrist? Once a year, maybe twice. Dr. K, on the other hand is cutting edge & tech-savvy! He keeps his patients in the loop with deals, discounts, hot new frames & the latest in eye health! Not to mention, he's on twitter (@ChoiceVision) and responds to your tweets! I feel so much more comfortable with him & his staff just based on the ongoing open line of communication.
If all that wasn't enough, I scored a huge deal on Groupon which I used towards a year supply of contacts. Yup, Dr. K helped me discover these incredibly comfy monthly contacts. On top of being able to use my Groupon, Dr. K gave me all the info I needed to save even more money with a rebate. Yeah, I know. Awesome, right?!

Choice Vision is the illest!
I called in to make an appointment for a day later in the week. Receptionist said "well, can you make it today?" I was like "sure, what times do you have available?" She said "what time do you want to come in?" I was like, "hmmm. let me just brush my teeth and ill be right over."
Went in, met the Doc. Got an exam. And I got to say, Dr. Kikunaga is the best optometrist in the world! Coolest dude I know that's a wizard in the study of the oculars. Also the first optometrist to give me a FULL eye exam. Making me realize that all the other eye docs ive had were all scrubs.
Super duper Doc. Friendly staff. Cozy little office/shop. Free candy!

I just had a very thorough I exam with Henry. Located just off the 125 toll road, he's in a mall with a lot of good restaurants and an Albertsons. He took his time examining my eyes and making sure I have the right contact lenses. I like his recommendations so far. I think the lenses he gave me are far more comfortable than the ones I'd been prescribed the year before.
i didn't need new glasses, but he has a large selection of glasses. . . Just about every brand under the sun. Don't forget to take a piece of candy by the front desk. -

Dr. Henry is the best! Not only is he professional and thorough (he found that my retina is thinner than normal), he is also very honest and tells you straight up what you need to know. He is very knowledgeable as he answered all my questions, and was happy to teach me interesting things about the eyes I've never known before.
Yolanda is also very friendly, personable and very helpful in picking out frames if you have no idea what you want! She'll have you sit down, and help you go through different frames until you have found the perfect one that compliments your face. I'm bad at picking frames for myself, but I got some really nice Dior ones with red temples that they helped me picked, and was happy when people complimented me on them. It wasn't a bad deal either!
I truly feel like I'm taken care of here. I recommend Choice Vision all the way! -

Not only is Dr. K fantastic, and the whole staff incredibly helpful and nice, even the other customers and a sales person that were in the office while I was there were nice! Is seems like everyone just loves being there and that makes such a difference. Dr. K treated me like I was the most important patient he had all day and the staff was so patient and helpful when I was picking out my frames (great selection!). This was the first time I have really had a problem with my eyes and I'm so glad that I went to Dr. K!

If you are searching for an optometrist, Dr. Kikunaga and Choice Vision is where you want to be. My previous eye exam (before Choice) was not a very good experience so I researched and felt pretty confident, thanks to yelp, when I made an appointment with Choice. Dr. Kikunaga is very very friendly and knows his stuff very well, plus he actually cares about his patients! Yolanda helped me out in picking my glasses which I really appreciated since I never have a clue what looks good.
Overall...awesome service, fair prices & great office/location.
I will be recommending you Dr. K to everyone I can! Thanks!

Dr. Kikunaga solved all my eye related problems in just one visit. I had the lasik procedure done about 5 or 6 years ago, and within the past year or so I noticed that my vision was deterriorating (just a little). I decided to get my eyes checked out and was referred by a family friend. I made an appt and was amazed how fast they saw me ( i was expecting a week or so, they got me in within 2 days). The office was so easy to find and when you step in, you are greeted by his friendly staff. The office itself has a real sweet set up with designer frames and sunglasses everywhere and real good reading material (sports illustrated) and the cool jams from the 80s and 90s (office appropriate music).
Dr. Kikunaga saw me and did the whole examination process and came to the conclusion that I had very bad dry eyes, which was making my vision strained most of the time. He prescirbed Restasis, which basically brings back tear production and moisture within the eyes. I was told to use these eye drops twice a day for a couple months and eventually the eyes will produce enough tears and moisture so that my eyes feel more fresh instead of dry and itchy. I got to admit, my eyes feel fresher than before.
It would be sooo perfect if lasik surgery kept our vision at 20/20 or even better, but as years pass, it does get worse. In my case it did a little, so Dr. Kikunaga recommended Ciba Vision Dailies Aqua Comfort Plus contact lenses. He let me try it out for a week, which i had no problems with and they felt so comfortable. On my following check up a week later (being on Restasis for 4 days), Dr. Kikunaga checked my vision again by having me do the vision test by reading the smallest line of letters that i could read. On my first visit, my vision was everywhere, meaning I'd be able to read a set of letters, then i wouldn't be able to focus on a different set of letters, basically it was bad. This time around while being on Restasis i was reading clearer and my eyes felt alot healthier and most important, Dr. Kikunaga had me seeing 20/20 again, which was such a great feeling knowing I can read street signs more clear at night without having to squint. I think I have found my eye doctor for life. If you are looking for an eye doctor and aren't sure where to go, you have to make an appt with Dr. Kikunaga at Choice Vision Optometry. I promise you, you won't be disappointed. He solved my problems. -

Thank you yelpers. From reading the reviews, I made a visit to Choice Vision and it was worth it. My girlfriend had complained to me of headaches for weeks, and already had glasses.
I searched for a good local optometry, and saw the many good reviews. Folks If you're looking for a clean, friendly, reliable optometry business in C.V., this is the place!
My girlfriend was impressed with all of the staff at Choice Vision, and the attention to detail Doc Henry gave to her. Her headaches are gone, and she has a trendy pair of glasses that makes her look great. I wasn't even the client and Henry came out and started a friendly conversation with me, which is unlike most other doctors.
Good quality glasses, lots to choose from for men and women, friendly supportive staff, clean looking business, and you walk out a happy yelper. -

If you need to get your eyes checked, you should definitely see Dr. Kikunaga. I went in to get some new contacts and my appointment went great. I was very happy that the place was open on a Saturday! My eye exam and contact lens fitting went well, and the doctor was very thorough and made sure my eyes were healthy. The staff is very friendly (they even call to remind you about your appointment). They ordered my contacts and it only took a couple of days to get them - plus I got rebate.
A week later, I had to go back to check out my right eye because the Rx didn't seem right. Dr. Kikunaga fixed it right away and now EYE can see perfectly :)
Cost is reasonable and they also accept vision insurance. This place also has a wide selection of eyeglass frames. I've been to other places in Chula Vista, and this place is definitely the best. Stop by and check 'em out! -

If you need to find an eye doctor that you can trust to give you the best eye care possible & understand your needs, then Dr. Kikunaga is your safest & best bet. He is a very friendly & experienced doctor which made it very comfortable to talk to & express any questions or concerns I might have about my eyes. He does extremely thorough exams that not only checked for my ACCURATE prescription but also the back of my eyes to make sure they were healthy. I went to UCSD & making a trip to Choice Vision is definitely worth it. Many of my friends come back from their optometrists unsatisfied & having contacts that don't fit right & the only regret I have is not spreading the word about Dr. Kikunaga to them earlier (SORRY! they know now! haha). Dr. Kikunaga will work with you to ensure that everything fits your needs & that you also understand the exam & why he does what he does. He's kind of funny too.
On top of great professionalism, he also has an amazing staff that will always be eager to help you with choosing frames that fit & look best on you! They're very patient & will literally let you try on the entire store until you find the best frames that will not look good on you but also fit within your budget. From Dr. Kikunaga to the lovely front desk assistants, everyone is very honest & sincere when speaking to you. I can't express how great this place is! By far the best optometry visit experience I've ever had & will visit them whenever i come back to SD :). -

Compared to last year I'm disappointed. They open at 9am so I scheduled a 10am appointed on their website. I arrived at 9:55am and the lobby was full. I tried to check in and was told to just take a seat (no seats available) so I just stood to the side. At 10am they called back another customer. About five minutes later the phone rang and they said a client was in for an appointment with Dr. Henry. I just got up and left. I thought, but was mistaken, that scheduling a early morning appointment near when they open would avoid this kind of situation. Bummer, because I thought I had great service last year and for this to happen it was just disappointing.

After quite some time dealing with blurry vision and tired eyes, I felt it was about time for me to start searching for an optometrist to have my eyes checked. I had a few previous selections in mind through my work insurance provider, but I decided to take a chance and find one through Yelp. It didn't take long for me to find Choice Vision as I had read many fine reviews from a handful of patients who have previously visited Dr. K.
Setting up an appointment was not difficult at all. You have the choice to contact them via website or by phone. I actually emailed my concern in which Jayme, their friendly optician had called me back the following day to answer any questions and to schedule me for my 1st appointment.
Scheduling for an appointment was a breeze as they were able to schedule me to come in on a Saturday morning. Its location was not difficult to find as it sits right across from Albertsons and next to a martial arts facility where parking is never a problem.
Upon arriving to my first scheduled appointment, I was greeted by a receptionist working that day who had checked me in. I wish I got her name, that way I'd be able to give her a friendly yelping shout, but that's okay. While waiting, I ran into an employee from my work who happened to be in that same day, how ironic!?! Shortly after, Dr. K called me in for my first eye check up where he introduced himself before beginning the exam. He went through the paperwork I signed before he called me in and answered any questions and concerns that I had for him. Dr. K was very informative and straight to the point in answering my questions which showed me that he is very knowledgeable of his practice and knows what he is doing. After the exam, I was not surprised that I needed glasses as I figured that my vision had not been as clear as it had been before I started working. I took Dr. K's advice to take breaks when working in front of the computers and to close my eyes every now and then to avoid dry eyes. After dilating my eyes and waiting 15 minutes for it to set in, he further examined my eye and determined that there wasn't anything serious going on so he went ahead and sat down with me to pick out some frames that would go well with my facial structure.
Dr. K was very helpful and honest in choosing a pair of frames for me. I must have tried on more than 12 pairs, but finally settled on a pair of red Fendi's that I absolutely loved! After settling with the Fendi's, Dr. K then told me that they would be ready in 10 days. Unfortunately, the lab had issues inserting the lens into the frames so it took a little longer than 10 days for it to arrive. After close to 3 weeks of waiting, the frames arrived, but not quite in the shape it should have been in. Jayme expressed her sincerest apologies to me as she was not happy with the nick she found on the lens when it arrived. Since that was the case and being that I had been waiting for quite some time, I decided to just pick up the glasses, pay for the rest of my fee and just leave, but that wasn't the case. I couldn't just leave without expressing my true feelings to Dr. K in which I did and with that he saved me the stress and cut a few costs to the rest of the fee that I had to pay when picking up the frames. Since the lens had a nick, Dr. K went ahead and ordered a new lens to replace the one with the nick. When that arrived, there was a problem with that again as the new lens was a millimeter off. I mean it was one problem after another and I wasn't sure how to deal with the situation anymore. Dr. K was very concerned with what was going on and assured me that he would take care of it and sure enough he did! He hooked me up with another new pair of frames at no cost and I was very appreciative of what he did at this point. Not only was he understanding, but he went above and beyond what was expected and I am thankful for all that he has done for me. I am even happier now with my new second set of frames and have received numerous complements from co-workers! Since then, I have referred Dr. K to my co-workers and even ran into another employee from work in Dr. K's office! What a small world! That just goes to show that Dr. K takes full pride in his work, helping others improve their vision and making sure that his patients receive the best care around. Thank you Dr. K for your care and for listening to my concerns!
I highly recommend you make your 1st appointment with Dr. K at Choice Vision if you are in shop for a new optometrist or a pair of frames. He will do what he can to help you with any vision concerns like he did for me and many others. Choice Vision has a great selection of designer brands and sunglasses to choose from for your whole family so don't wait or hesitate to get your eyes checked out! Thanks again Dr. K!!! :) -

I met Dr. Henry thur his brother, we were college roommates back in the days. I have the so called "Asian disease," blindness without my glasses, lenses thick enough to burn ants on the sidewalk on a hot sunny day. I needed new frames and my wife was having vision trouble at the same time. So we paid him a visit and he noticed my wife's vision problem was due to having a lazy eye. Henry is very easy to talk to and approachable about any vision concerns. The staff including his wife, Glenda are very friendly and helpful. Now back to my situation, i picked out a pair of frames they advised me to get since my daughter loves to play with my glasses. A few days after ordering my frames, I received a call from their office explaining that the frames I picked out with the type of lenses I ordered would be a safety issue. When we picked up my wife's frames we found the staff having a meeting about my frames and lenses. I never expected so much attention and care from a pair of glasses. They go out of their way to help you have the right pair of glasses. Thanks for giving me the best pair of glasses and eyecare I could ever have. Plus my daughter loved the candy from their office and Dr. Henry gave her a stuffed doll.
Had to schedule an appointment but Dr. Henry was out of office. I ended up at Lens crafter and it took forever. The assistant was not helpful and juggling customers left and right. I wished so bad I didn't have to rush with Lenscrafter and ended up at choice vision. They are friendlier and less nerve racking than lenscrafter. -

Don't have eyeglasses but walked in with my broken sunglasses. My lens popped out of my Ray Bans and the lady at the front desk was eager to help me. Not only that but she gave me eyeglass cleaner and a microfiber cloth. I didn't even buy anything. I'm recommending my friends to him.
