Getting coffee inside a library just reminded my old time at school, during which time I have been holding a cup of coffee and walking inside a library looking for a seat for study all the time.
Chocolati cafe provided a wide selection of espressos, so I just settled myself with the skinny cappuccino. Their truffle selection was also huge, including some of my favorite flavors - coconut champagne and raspberry.
Seating was also provided, but you could always get some seats elsewhere inside the library.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0 - Lisa I.Los Angeles, CA197358717Oct 16, 2018
This little cafe is conveniently located on the third level of the library. Stop by and their chocolates will immediately catch your eye with flavors like caramel apple, apricot, cayenne, Thai, maple bacon, cinnamon almond, and ichi (ginger wasabi). The ginger wasabi and caramel apple ones were my faves. The flavors just pop in each one. Cayenne truffle also had a nice kick to it. And for $1.60 each, it's quite affordable for you to satisfy your chocolate craving.
I also tried their Aztec drinking chocolate. It's not quite as thick as I prefer, but it had a lot of thick, rich chocolate mixed in with it. So rich, in fact, that you likely won't be able to finish the full 8 oz cup. It's not going to be my go-to place for European style drinking chocolate, but I'm glad I got to try it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - P V.Bainbridge Island, WA03Jan 2, 2021
Ppl are allowed to sit here without buying their nasty drinks; security will tell you to if you have your own food in the library. Don't let them kick you out, get in on film. None of their stuff is worth ordering anyway.

This is the only place I have found in Seattle or anywhere else in the US that does European style Hot Cocoa. If you have never had it, it is a must try. Thick. Delicious. Chocolate. I prefer to spice mine up and go Mexican. It is super rich so I get the big one and take it home and save it for days of chocolate love. Yummy!

you have to visit this place! you can just feel that everything is made with love and care. i got the house dark chocolate with whip and it was so so good: rich, flavorful, and perfectly sweet. there's such a huge selection of truffles, with basic flavors like dark chocolate and raspberry and more interesting ones like thai and caramel apple, but they're all SO SO GOOD. on top of that the atmosphere is so cozy and cute and the employees are the sweetest ever!

I was coming from Vancouver on a little trip to see the library and my boyfriend and I wanted to try out some drinks. We got some really good coffee in there but even better service. We spoke with Mike and he was the most welcoming and kind person, he really made our visit well worth it on top of seeing the already beautiful library. Thanks always!

I love the products here, but I will not go back and frequent this business. Two times I have been served by employees that are dismissive and snarky. No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere

I forgot to mention that Chocolati makes awesome favors for weddings! I was in a wedding and they use elements of Chocolati in their wedding! For the bridesmaids gifts, the bride had customized chocolate dipped fortune cookies that had quirky and funny sayings in them. Not only were they super cute but they were yummy!
For the wedding itself, they had an entire bar set up of different chocolate truffles and candy from Chocolati! Seriously the best candy bar I've seen to date. They also made these chocolate trees/bushes that the wedding party could take home! I'll post a picture of these elements!
They also had their wedding rehearsal at Chocolati. We were able to eat a lot of candy and try their delicious drinks before the wedding. Even if you're not getting married, you should pop by one of their stores for some tasty drinks and chocolates.
Now that I'm planning my own wedding, I immediately thought of Chocolati for my own wedding favors and dessert bar. They ship outside of Seattle, too! I highly recommend them! Love the owners - they are the best!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Nov 10, 2009Previous reviewChocolate. Coffee.
