Chocolate Fest
1 review for Chocolate Fest
So my friend found this place while looking on line at things to do in Lake Geneva so we decided to try it out after we were done shopping. Burlington is about 15 minutes North of Lake Geneva but it feels like it is worlds away!! It is the opposite of Lake Geneva, so it's a bit dirty, a little trashy and just not very inviting. We then pull up the the entrance of Chocolate Fest to have to pay $5 for parking...which I thought was a bit crazy considering this place was basically just a HUGE ass carnival!! So we walked right in...come to find out later we were supposed to pay to get it! But no one stopped us and there were no big signs or anything so we walked right in without even knowing! But the charge was $7 pp!!!! WTF is that?!?! If we would have seen that we would have just sucked up the $5 for parking and left without even going in! Literally, all it was was a carnival...corn dogs, lemon shake-ups, trashy carnies and their rigged games...everything you would think of, of a parking lot fest. There was a TINY tent with chocolate stuff in it...but really...not even that much! Some chocolate covered strawberries, cheesecake on a stick, cookies...and a few other things but nothing spectacular or anything! It was basically a waste of about an hour...since that is about how long it took to walk through the maze of trash to get to the chocolate tent WAY in the back corner (even though that is supposedly what the whole thing was for!) and back to the front. I would not suggest ever trying this place...ever!
