I lost my oakley sunglasses here today.....

but I guess the food sort of made up for it.  The steak was good today, not chewy and not hard like it is sometimes... and they were generous with the portions.

Try not to go during peak hours, cuz it gets busy and they don't even give you full scoops.  This lady once gave me half a scoop of steak and wanted to charge me extra when I asked for more.  I like going later in the day around 3 or 4; that's when I get my over stacked steak bol, usually with lettuce falling off the sides.

They also have a secret menu here like In-N-Out.  A chicken quesadilla came out to around $4.  A bit too much for just tortilla, cheese, and chicken.

With my new oakley sunglasses I bought after losing my first pair, I could have bought 32 steak bols here!!!

This is a generic review of Chipotle. Like McDonald's, Chipotle is a big chain establishment so it probably doesn't matter what location you're at.

Why are people so addicted to this place? Whenever I walk to the grocery store and pass through the Fulton Ave. side entrance we pass by Chipotle. People are grinning as they stuff foil-wrapped burros in their faces. It seems like it would be so pleasant. But I don't think it is. I would rather go to the taco truck (if I knew where one was) or make food at home. Plus, isn't it owned by McDonald's? If so, might as well forget any expectation of great quality.

Don't order the guacamole. It doesn't taste real. Oh, I almost forgot. Everything is real. In that case, the guacamole at Chipotle tastes like real ... Sorry, everyone who's in love with Mex-Donald's. I just don't know .... Creamy, chunky. I especially don't like the chips. Way too hard and salty. I like a little bit of salt on my chips, but not so much that I need a beer to wash it all down. I like beer, too. But they don't have beer at Chipotle. (That's another reason to bring home your burritos or make them at home to begin with.)

If you're walking around Loehmann's Plaza and happen to pass Chipotle, you will experience some "alternative music," rancid smells, and quite possibly you will see employees exiting the restroom while wiping their hands on their aprons.

Definitely "Americanized" Mexican food.

BUT the chicken salad from here is oh so delicious.  Its basically like a burrito bowl but substitute the rice with lettuce. Top it off with their chipotle vinaigrette and let the fiesta in your mouth begin!

Tip: Use your Sac State One Card to get a free drink!

Chipotle is really good quick mexican food. And might I emphazise the "Quick". It is really good, but the service is kind of lousy.  And, when you ask for something, they really dont give you that much. So, when you ask for something, you need to say, "i want a lot" of chicken. or rice, or beans. Dont be afraid to ask, they charge you the same. and you also have to do that if you are hungry. Other than that, really good food, really good price.

I am very addicted to Chipotle, I eat there many times a week.  There are usually very long lines, but it always moves along quickly.  If your a student and you have your school ID you get a free soda! Isn't that cool? Last Halloween if you dressed up as a burrito and went to Chipotle they would give you a free one.

P.S. -My friend and I agree that this is the best hangover food ever!

I know it's a big chain, and it's owned by Mc Donalds...but I never cease to be impressed by Chipotle.

I participated in a fundraising walk in San Francisco and Chipotle was one of the sponsors and gave out free burritto coupons.  The locations were listed in San Fran, BUT they honored them without hesitation in Sac.

At the Loehmann's Plaza location there is a fishbowl by the drink machine that you can drop your business card in.  I've done this a couple times and got a call this week that I won free dinner for myself and five of my friends!  We ordered anything we wanted off the menu with guac (which is DELICIOUS) and all the sides.  It was fantastic!  I will go back again and again and always drop my business card.

I'm addicted to their guacamole.  I don't know if it's the salty chips or the creamy guac, but I can't go to this place for lunch without a side of that stuff.

The line is always long at lunch, but the people who work there move it along pretty fast.  Again, finding a table can be tough at peak times.
