I went into China Star with low expectations but an undeniable craving for an egg-roll. My expectations were met. The food tasted alright for the most part but looked especially dreary, even for a buffet. The selection was pretty small. A whole quarter of the entree area was devoted to different meats prepared sweet and sour style. The won-tons were completely cream cheese and oddly sweet. It's your standard cheap Chinese buffet, the kind you would expect to find in Madison.
The best part of the meal was listening to the conversation behind me which included a mother and her son Treyvaugn (spelled here phonetically).
