I love this place, sure it is certainly not authentic, but has some darn good hot & sour soup! Matter of fact I do not like hot & sour soup ANYWHERE nada at any other chinese food restaurants as they all taste like soy sauce to me (this soup has real flavor!!) The egg rolls taste like no other I have ever tried & if I could figure out what in the world the ingredient secret is I could sell it! The jalapeno chicken is some good stuff with those fermented black beans YUM. Sure the service isn't all that great (seems they got rid of the young white dude with the mohawk thank goodness because he creeped me out so much I would ask not to sit in his section!) the cashier's are certainly not social, but the food I have tried sure is good!

You'd be better off getting a frozen dinner at HEB. Crazy sweet sauces, suspect quality of meats, and the worst part is, they think it's good!
Trust me, bring some soy sauce to whataburger and you'd get as authentic and most likely better food. -

the owners aren't even chinese! if i could give it zero stars, i would. they serve the most disgusting "chinese" food i've ever tasted. everything is loaded with sugar (even the hot and sour soup) and they have a ton of dishes listed on their menu but really only 3 sauces. shrimp hon shu, sweet and sour shrimp, golden phoenix shrimp...all fried, all the same sweet and sour sauce. beef broccoli, mongolian style beef, mandarin beef, beef mushroom, sauteed beef, garlic beef, shredded beef..all the same brown sauce. shrimp delight, shrimp lobster sauce, shrimp snow peas, seafood delight..all the same starchy white sauce.
maybe i shouldn't have eaten at a chinese restaurant that also serves chicken fried steak and fries for $5.95. these backwards, old retired folks have all lost their tastebuds. "best chinese food in burnet county?" -

My wife enjoys China Kitchen more than I do, but it's not bad. First of all, if you're expecting authentic Chinese food, steer clear. The options here will taste nothing like Chinese food. Some don't even look like Chinese food. This is more "fast food" Chinese in a sit-down environment. The sesame chicken is the best dish by far, but you've never tasted sesame chicken like this. This is not to say the food is bad, per se. It's just a very Texan version of Chinese food, which means some of the flavors are overpowering. This is a very decent place to eat (the decor is pleasant, if you choose to dine in instead of carry-out), just not if you're in the mood for authentic Chinese food.

My family loves this place, its great and has great service. the hot and sour soup is amazing and i love the hot seseme chicken.Yes it is not authentic chinese food DUH! your eating at the only chinese food place in MARBLE FALLS TEXAS this isnt the place for authentic chinese food obviously. but it is great if your a texas native with texas taste buds. so if you can ONLY eat AUTHENTIC chinese food and you happen to be in marble falls eat someplace else and leave this place to the people who appreciate something different in there small town.
