Can I give a 1/2 star? None of the food tasted fresh; in fact none of it tasted anything at all. I have not had a worse chinese buffet experience.

I came here because it had all 5 star reviews holy cow are you people from the freakin woods?! I wouldn't feed this crap to my dead dog! The restaurant is gross looking and I had trouble even finding something edible! I'm so disappointed in you all! I walked in and couldn't help but note how sketchy this place looks. I guess if you're a hill billy from Appalachia you and your wife/cousin would eat this shit.. But not me.. I'm from the civilized world. I'm an American dammit. This is unAmerican.

I gave this place a chance for lunch and came away extremely disappointed. I should have went with my instincts as I walked in the front door. The smell was a combination of body odor and old mop water. The food didn't really taste all that terrible but the pepper steak was bland and well, let's just say nothing settled in my stomach well after the visit. I won't be back for a second chance.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The lunch buffet was old food probably from the day before. The waitress scratched her head with my fork before giving it to me. The water tasted fresh. Will not return.

Great restaurant, friendly staff, lots of choices on the buffet sushi, and a hibachi grill as well. Very tasty!

The food is good and fresh. I take my mom there monthly during the summer and she loves it. People go there just for the salt and pepper crabs and shrimp. The frog legs on the dinner buffet are so tasty. I have talked to people who plan trips from out of town just to eat a lunch there. I love the sushi bar. Fresh made and extra tasty.

I have eaten at China Gardens many times because my elderly parents liked it. I have to say that, for an all you can eat buffet, the food is consistent.
The restaurant is a favorite for families after church.. so be prepared to have children running around touching the food with their fingers. I once watched a kid poke each piece of sushi with his thumb. Also.. fair warning, when they have crabs or shrimp, or crawfish people will send their kids to stand and wait for the bins to be filled so they can grab the goodies as they come out.
The place often smells bad..but better than before they remodeled after the hurricane.
To be fair.. the food is better than most of the local Chinese buffets.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alexander B.Beaumont, TX03Aug 4, 2013
Simply the most inadequate food in terms of taste and deliciousness. I'm not exaggerating when I say that 5 dishes out of many actually left a solid imprint on my taste buds, but eventually faded within 2 seconds. Among many dishes, lots of the food stay out for a long time, diminishing its flavors and texture. Overall, the food quality was atrocious, not cooked correctly for the dish, and had no flavor.
