4906 El Camino Reali selected dr. chin for my daughters, only because there were no female doctors who were taking new patients. i was really worried about this due to the fact that every male doctor i've ever had is insensitive and harsh.
i'm glad i did--he was very pleasant, thorough, patient, knowledgeable and professional. i would recommend him to anyone.
the only reason i took away a star is because one of his nurses, (the one that immunized my daughter), was a little incompetent. she used a huge horribly sticky band-aid for a prick, then after i requested smaller ones, she missed and put the sticky part on the wound. she seemed generally clueless, but nice.
UPDATE: my daughter has been really sick and Dr. Chin is AWESOME! He called us at 9:30 at night at home to make sure she was O.K. and is so thorough and genuinely cares. He's really great and knows what he's doing.
But, again--his nurses are THE WORST! i called this morning because my daughter was vomiting and had diahrrea really bad and the nurse sent me to urgent care. after waiting forever urgent care thought it was dumb of her to send me there because they don't do IV's and i had to go wait again at ER. even the doctors at urgent care said it was dumb of them not to send me directly to ER.
Another UPDATE about the terribe nurse: This time, she immunized my daugher and put the band aid on, and MISSED THE WOUND AGAIN! This time even worse! She put the band on a different part of her leg while the prick was gushing blood. She is the flakiest, dumbest ever!
I love Dr. Chin, but I'm going to change doctors because I can't handle another visit with that nurse. She scares me. If she consistently can't even put a band aid on, how can she immunize her correctly?!
