I love the childrens museum!
It may not be the cleanest place but hey, the kids dont mind.
They have this giant EYE that you can walk through, a police car and a motorcycle, fire truck, ambulance, city bus, Food 4 Less and more...
The kids run in circles around the place.
4 stars only because of the price. I think it is up over $4.00 a person now, which I don't mind for the kids, but come on, give adults a break! We are not climbing on the trucks or playing with the fake steaks. Maybe they could install a few more park benches for the adults.
Always a hit with the kids. Take them!

Took my 19 year old son there long ago, recently went again with our 3 year old old. Lots of fun, she had a blast. Needs a little updating but for the price we all had a fabulous time! The kids love exploring the fire truck, ambulance, grocery store, playing doctor--great for little kids!
wow...I have to say I was impressed!!!!! I had gone once before a LONG time ago and found the place a little dirty and old...but wow... have to say its coming up!!!
The Food-4-less grocery area is a little on the dirty side and they need to replace the 'cereal boxes' etc... or a new better look for them!!!
But the 4 stars are mainly for what looks like a new 'booth' on magnetism.... I found that pretty breathtaking I must say...and I had to smile when I watch the kids play in there...they are as amazed as me!!!!!!!!!
Keep up the good work Children's musuem.... You coul dhave had 5 stars...but I took one off because you just need to 'freshen up' the Food 4 less area please... the cereal boxes look like they have been chewed by the tykes!!!

Let your imagination run wild...
We took our two year old son here, after receiving suggestions from fellow yelpers. I have to say this is a great place for ones imagination to run wild! The price of admission cost less than taking the kids to the movies. My son enjoyed himself, but we were right in there with him. A great place to be a big kid again!! Fortunately, when we were there, there was a bus load of school kids leaving. It was great having the place to ourselves, so we took our time trying everything out. We loved the magnet wall. We really like the art center, very clean and organized. I give this place 4 stars, only because some areas were worn with wear and tear. And, for not having more interactive science areas for kids. But, overall for the price one can easily overlook these things.

Perfect place for a rainy Saturday. The kids were tired of the indoors and the rain, actually they were tired of me yelling every 2.2 seconds 'settle down, damn't!' (I really do love my children)...Anyhow boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to let the girls run, explore, have some fun, and at the same time not cost us an arm and a leg. We decided the Children's Museum fit the bill. It was perfect, there are so many things for the kids to interact and play with. The layout is a touch bit confusing, maybe because my 3 year old was trying to see everything at once hmmm. The art room was the best and probably the highlight, the girls spent about an hour there making arts and crafts. It's totally affordable and just a neat place to let the kids run and explore. Also, the staff is super friendly!
