What IS it about little indie burger shops that make them SO damn good!? Walked up to the service window of this little drive-thru on my way to watch a buddy's kid's football game, and for a little burger joint they have a LOT of "gourmet" burger options - and not all chicken, despite the name.
I went with my trusty standby of mushroom/swiss, and it was smothered in both. Fries are a la carte but reasonably priced and a good portion that wasn't too greasy. Both the burger and fries were lucky to make it to the car and then the football game, b/c they smelled SO damn good...but their luck ran out after that. Total elapsed eating time: about a minute. Maybe two, since I did have to come up for air mid-feeding.
Other noteworthy tidbits: Lots of shake options that I passed on. Quick, friendly service at the window. If you're in the Lake Stevens area, pop in - you won't be disappointed!
Tasty drive-in food. Nice kids working there. But if you're in any kind of a hurry, skip this place. They work as hard as they can, but they can only serve one customer at a time. Be prepared to wait a long time for your food.
They have AWESOME milkshakes. They are great after a swim at the lake.
