Not trying to sound cliche, but DAMN this place is hands down the best fast food chain ever. Chick Fil-A's food is superb quality, the restaurants are clean and the employees/environment is very hospitable and friendly. Chick Fil-A's preaches real southern-like hospitality. They wait your tables, bring your food to you (remember this is a fast food joint) and are really aware of your every needs.

I've been to three locations in california. (Bakersfield, Sac and Fairfield)  The Sac location specifically is great. Clean, nice staff but kind of off the main street a little. None of the locations are open on Sunday so that is something important to remember! I know the first time, i didnt know that, so it was a major disappointment.

I LOVE and always get their spicy chicken sandwich. The regular one is too sweet for me but its still really good. All regular (not deluxe) sandwiches are made with a nice juicy and BIG piece of chicken breast and pickles sandwiched between a perfectly buttered bun. It amazes you how juicy each sandwich is each and every time. it NEVER disappoints . It's like how do replicate such perfection every time?! And it is true replication, never any surprises, always the same cut and size and deliciousness of the chicken. They are so juicy that one time, my friend bit into her sandwich and squirted onto her boyfriend's (who is a Chick Fil-A fanatic as well) face and he exclaimed in pride and excitement!!

They have a huge selection of sauces. Chick Fil-A sauce is my favorite, it tastes and looks exactly like honey mustard with a little kick. I like their buffalo and ranch too. They have the cute little ketchup packets now that can squirt or be squeezed and is shaped like a flat bottle.

Chick Fil-A is my favorite fast food chain because of the perfection and quality it creates. =)

    Chick Fil-A loyal for life.

I grew up eating at a Chick-fil-A.  Their chicken is comfort food for me.  I've eaten here this entire week (1/23-1/27) and everyday someone in the drive thru forgets something in my order.

On Monday, I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal and they forgot my waffle fries.  I figured that was a sign from God that I didn't need those fries.

On Tuesday I ordered the same thing, except I got a soup instead of waffle fries.  The drive thru person didn't put the lid securely on my drink and it spilled all over me when I made a turn.  WE ALL KNOW THAT MOST DRINKS, ESPECIALLY TEA DRINKS, HAVE HELLA ICE IN THEM, SO YOU CAN IMAGINE THAT WHAT WAS LEFT FROM THAT SPILLAGE WAS JUST ICE.  Nothing peeve's me more than neglecting to secure a drink lid.  I've worked at a McDonald's drive thru during breakfast and what if I had never secured the lid on someone's coffee?  Mind your principals, minimum wage employee.

    On Wednesday everything was great.

Thursday I ate a grilled cheese sandwich (which sucked)  at Mr. Pickles, but today, Friday, I ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich meal.  I substituted my waffle fries for a side salad AND THE MOTHER HEIFFER FORGOT TO INCLUDE A FORK.

I understand that lunch rushes can cause people to forget to include things, but when a company whose product I adore seems to ruin nearly every single lunch I've had, I have to sit back and really think if they are worth getting my business.

I don't take vacations or buy Jimmy Choos, I treat myself to lunch everyday.  That's my financial vice.  I'd rather eat fried chicken than "hamburger meat," but this particular Chick-fil-A location has really irritated me.

I will give this place two stars for two reasons: 1) I love their chicken and 2) you're going to save me a shitload of money because starting next week, I'm bringing my own lunch to work from now on.

Another issue I have is why are your buns so fragile?  You might as well stop serving sandwiches and stick to serving nuggets only that way I know to expect to get my fingers greasy.  Your buns are unbelievably flawed.  They break apart before I've even been able to take my first bite.

    Meh, chicken's chicken.

We first went to Mimi's Cafe and realized there was a 30 minute wait; which then resorted us next door to this place.  It was the day after Christmas, so the roads and restaurants were packed including Chick Fil' A.

I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich meal which came out to be around $8 for a meal! (A bit pricey for a fast food joint, yeah?)  Umm, I felt like I could make this at home. It was just a slice of chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise.  I'm not quite sure what the hype is -- it's not like they had any special house sauce ingredient added.  The chicken was a bit dry. Almost half way eating into my burger, the bread was literally soggy.  I ended up taking off the bread and ate the chicken alone with ketchup. The sandwich was bland! I'm sorry, but I think McDonald's crispy chicken sandwich is juicier with MORE flavor!

Their criss cut fries were okay; tasted bland also.  I think Carl's Jr serves better fries. Though, they do have pretty nifty ketchup packets that I can give props to! (Reference to my uploaded pic!) There's an ample amount in each packet and you actually have the option to squeeze out the ketchup or straight dunk your fries into it! You have to see it for yourself!

This location is sanitary.  Unlike most fast food joints, the tables are already clean and wiped down before you sit down with your meal. My two stars goes out to the cleanliness of this place!

    I love the chicken nuggets.
This place is AWESOME, even though it considered to be a fast food restaurant. They use chicken breast to make the chicken sandwiches and chicken nugget. I just love them. The lemonade and ice tea is made perfectly.
The restaurant is clean and the staff is super friendly. They even have a kids area at this location.

I normally don't review fast food chains, but this place deserves one for being fast, affordable and consistent in taste.
Chick-Fil-A is the equivalent of In-N-Out.
    Enough said.

I wish they had more chains in the bay area.

This is the best place to get a chicken sandwich!!! I heard that the chicken was dry and not good so i decided to try it out. When i took a bite my friends and i were like omg those people are missing out because this chicken is soooo goooood. Going to come back again totally the best place. Also, it isn't expensive, crowded, loud, and you're gonna want to come back.

I actually never even heard of this place until I received a 'Free Original Chicken Sandwich' voucher in my race goodie bag. The first thought that came to mind was: a KFC burger joint; but luckily I was wrong. This place definitely seems to have healthier options than any other typical fast-food joint. Despite most of their menu items consisting of fried chicken, their sandwiches are under 500calories.

As many reviewers have stated, this place is exceptionally clean for a food place. The staff was very attentive and friendly. After I made my order for take-out, I zoned out on my phone for a while and one of the workers was kind enough to come out from behind the counter to hand me my to-go order.

Before devouring my Chargrilled Chicken sandwich, I stopped by Costco to buy groceries and gas-up. After an hour of it sitting in my warm car, I didn't expect much out of it--taste and quality-wise.
To my amazement: the bun was not soggy, lettuce still green and crisp, and the chicken was still succulent-- it's as if it came straight out of the kitchen. Hell, it was better than "expensive" grilled chicken entrees I've gotten from other restaurants. Makes me wonder if the secret to keeping this sandwich so good is that black styrofoam box it came in. I didn't even use the honey roasted BBQ sauce it came with--yep, it was that good!!

I'll admit that it is a bit pricey; I would've paid $4 for this 290calorie piece of this mmm-mmm goodness if I didn't have that free voucher. I can't speak for everything on the menu as being good nor healthy-- I mean you can't expect fried stuff in general to be healthy, can you?

I'd definitely go back for another Chargrilled Chicken sandwich if I'm ever in the area (and have $4 to spare). Maybe I'll try it with the honey roasted BBQ sauce next time too.

I love this place. It reminds me of my Texas roots, so I was super excited when we finally got one a few years ago! The service is so much better than most fast food places, and even the patrons seem more polite (good ol' Southern hospitality!).

The chicken is so good, but it's the sauce that I crave most. It's so hard to choose, but Chik-Fil-A sauce always wins. That sweet/smokey/tangy flavor is just as good on the waffle fries as it is on the chicken!

And I also admit my bias, because I laugh my ass off at all the commercials ...those damn cute cows and their awful spelling... how can you not love it? (I guess the fact that they're only on when I watch a Longhorns game just adds to the experience...)

Better than McDonald's. Known for their chicken sandwiches. Tried to make their sweet and sour sauce sound fancy by calling it "Polynesian sauce."

Chick-Fil-A, if you were franchised closer, I would definitely be eating more chicken, or "chikin" as you like to incorrectly call it.

First of all, I have to say, I don't agree with their political beliefs, but Yelp is not the right platform for that rant.

So, let's just talk food + service. Everyone that works here is super friendly, and you're greeted with a smile and are welcomed inside.

I love the Waffle Fries, and anything you can dip into the amazing array of condiments! Seriously, the dipping sauces are what makes this place legit!

    Condiments:
    Chick-fil-A Sauce
    Polynesian
    Buffalo
    Honey Mustard
    Buttermilk Ranch
    Tabasco Sauce
    BBQ Sauce
    Honey-Roasted BBQ
    Mayo
    Mustard
    Ketchup
...and I still think I'm missing a few more! The Chick-Fil-A and the Polynesian sauce are really unique! The Buffalo and Ranch are also quite good! I like to open them all up and dip anything I can hands on into them!

I like that the food is brought to your table, and you can have as many sauces as you like! Also, while I was there, we were offered to take a survey which I quickly filled out on my phone, and we got a free Chicken Sandwich! Score! We also tried the nuggets, but The Deluxe Spicy Chicken sandwich was much better than both of those.

And, they're expanding! The employees told us they'll be opening up more locations first in the South Bay and then the East Bay including a Walnut Creek location.

PS: They are not open on Sundays due to their religious beliefs. Lucky for their employees. Unlucky for us.

My favorite "fast food" joint! The chicken salad sandwich (which made them famous) is always fresh and tasty. Not a big fan of french fries but Chik-Fil-A's waffle fries are addictive.

Make sure and save room for a piece of their lemon pie or better yet take a whole pie home for later!

Remember they are closed on Sundays so everyone can attend church, but is a bummer if you have a chik-fil-a craving after church!

It's never a good thing to follow hype---Y? Overly zealous expectations, that's why...well, I finally tried them out! Ordered #1 meal with waffle-cut fries, and wasn't WOWed, but pleasantly surprised at how well their chicken is cooked/prepared.

Quite boring sandwich with literally soft (too soft, bespeaking non-nutritive and bleached) bread, chicken patty, and another slice of bun. that is it. To be fair, one is supposed to put sauces atop the meat... but hello? no lettuce, no tomato, nothin' for close to a cool $7/meal?

Fries were too pale in color and didn't hold that nice crisp and crunch that perfect waffle fries oughta command. Chicken meat was very moist, though.. and I'm a HUGE fan of their lemonade.

Friends have been raving about their food for quite some time, and even though I've known about the Sacto. joint forever, I've never come until recently.

Don't think I'm going to be having any pangs for CFA anytime soon... their own named sauce approximated the BK sauce in my memory.

PS Cute little squeeze or dip option Heinz packets! Open ridiculous hours, like 06-2200?

    My first and only Chick-Fil-A.

So what makes Chick-Fil-A worth a visit.. easy the sauces!  There are 10+ sauces available from the classics Ketchup & Mustard to the unusual like Polynesian and Chick-Fil-A (possibly my favorite)

The chicken itself was good! definitely a step up from the likes of KFC, Items are more basic, you add your own sauces.

Waffle fries are pretty awesome! the perfect dunkers for the sauce array, and unlimited sauce means you better buy a bunch of waffle fries.

Service, for fast food is outstanding, welcomed on the way in, helpful during ordering and food delivered to your table... how can you ask for anything more in a fast food environment.

We even won a chicken sandwich during our visit! Chick-Fil-A you have convinced me to return one day!

p.s. Apparently there is a 4sq check in offer for a freebie, Free Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Unlocked on your 1st check-in; I missed it :(

The food was a little on the cool side, still warm but not hot. I was disappointed in the flavor as it was a bit flat. It needed the sauce to have flavor.

No one does fast food chicken sandwich better than Chick-Fil-A. It's crispy, tender, moist and very flavorful. Just grab a spicy chicken sandwich. You don't even need any extra sauce for this goodie. The waffle fries and southern iced tea are just icing on the cake.

Service is excellent for a fast food chain. No oily greasy tables with food crumbs. Everything is new and sparkling clean here.

I've been wanting to go to Chick-Fil-A for months, but there isn't any in the South Bay where I live. I finally got my girlfriend to go with me to this one, and it was everything I had hoped for. The spicy chicken deluxe was great. The chicken was moist and they gave me 8 different sauces to dip in. Their lemonade is really tasty, and made from only lemons, sugar, and water according to their signs. Also, they come to your table and refill your drinks for you! Overall, very satisfied. I do like my fried chicken to have a crispier skin, but other than that, this place rocks. Definitely the In-N-Out of chicken.

**FYI CLOSED SUNDAY'S*** Everyone always forgets that :D

Best fast food and service you'll ever have basically. It's super clean inside and they refill your drinks too if you dine in. They sometimes have specials for breakfast, you can get whatever is FREE for that day. Also, sometimes on days where they announce you can bring your receipt for a specific day and get that same meal for FREE! And to add to this FREE talk, i heard on certain days if you dress like a cow (fully/partial) you can get something for FREE too, a meal or entree. They have different variaties of sauces too and they're all good, I usually ask for the Chic-fil-a sauce. This place is mainly chicken, so beef lovers beware!

I miss the banana pudding shakes though... Please bring them back!!!! The other shakes are great too though.

I have to add, the salads are actually really great here too and even the chicken soup!! Whatever you get here it's going to be 10x better than any other fast food. I know there is a lot of hype about Sonics but that's actually overrated. I truly believe the hype of Chick-Fil-A is the real deal ;D

Why isn't there a Chick-Fil-A in the Bay Area?  I mean, I try to be good and diet and avoid fast food.  But whenever I pass by Sacremento, I just can't help but put my diet in a corner.  Maybe it's best that it stays outside of the Bay, otherwise I'll have no diet to consider.

As far as fast food, this is about as quality of a product as you can get. Between their first rate delicious chicken, and their great customer service... they get five stars from me!!

I love their chicken nuggets, chicken strips, and their Chick Fil A Chicken Sandwich Deluxe. The strips and nuggets are just the best I've ever tasted. Seriously, they're better than KFC or any chicken I've tried. The chicken sandwich has the cheese of your choice, tomato, pickles, and green leaf lettuce. It comes without any mayo or such, (sauce comes on the side in little cups/packets). My choice is their signature "Chick Fil A" Sauce. OMG it's to die for. It's like honey mustard, but a little different... Check it out. I use it for the nuggets, tenders, and the chicken sandwich.

The other dreamy thing to get at Chick Fil A is the homemade lemonade!

I agree with another reviewer who said they don't care for the waffle fries. To me, they're undercooked, and the taste just isn't there. I don't care because there are plenty of other choices on the menu, and I usually don't order fries anyway. Stick with the chicken and lemonade... you can't go wrong!

Never in my life have I seen so many white people at a place for chicken. Kind of heartwarming actually.

But I can understand why. Chick-Fil-A really is that good. And I appreciate the low-key menu..kind of like In-N-Out. There are very few choices. All chicken based. All very bad for you I'm sure. But a great alternative to the mystery meats at those other places.

And the sauce-factor sets this place apart. I HIGHLY recommend the Polynesian (their version of sweet-n-sour) or the Chick-Fil-A (like a spicy fry sauce but 16X better.)

Oh..and the fact that I "stole" packets of Tabasco and Purell hand wipes just made my day. I will definitely be back for more...

    chicken that is.

"Its a wonderful day here at Chick-Fil-A"

Thats the greeting you get when you come here, how could you not give them a five star rating with great cheese like that?

Customer service here is the tops and I love them for it. I appreciate great customer service at a fast food joint because its pretty much a rare thing now-n-days.

My favorite thing to get here is the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich. Yummy in my tummy without that nasty "God I feel so bloated and fat" feeling. (**cough cough Taco Bell and McDonalds**)It also has a good kick to it which I never get with a fast food sandwich that has the word "spicy" in its title.

The criss cut fries aren't my forte, I need something a little more crispy, but the BF and everyone else I go here with gobble them up.

I also love getting a gallon of their diet lemonade..yes a gallon..I cant help it, its just that good.

Sacto, if there is one thing that you have won over on us Bay Area peeps, it's Chick-Fil-A.  I am so jealous.

Goodness, why do we not have a Chick-Fil-A in the Bay Area?  I came here and nabbed some nuggets while up in Sacto for a conference.  Granted, the nuggets were the only thing I ate, but those combined with the Chick-Fil-A sauce- omg, HEAVEN.  McDonald's ain't got nothin' on you, babe.  Nuggets were tender, juicy, perfect.  Sauce best described as tangy but sweet.  Sweet mustard, maybe?  SO GOOD.  I'd have half a mind to come here more often if it weren't so far away and gas weren't so damn expensive.

5 stars, hands down.  And I only tried one thing on the menu.  What does that tell you?  Go here.  NOW.  :)

I JUST discovered this location so close to Davis 2 days ago. I wasn't expecting to be able to enjoy Chick-Fil-A unless I go to North Carolina again, so naturally I had to plan a trip out to Sac :)

I had no clue that Tuesday nights were Family nights, so the place was packed! Even though they were so busy, customer service was amazing. I had grabbed my food without taking the Chick-Fil-A sauce I had asked for and one of the staff brought it out to me while I was getting a straw and napkins. That's never happened to me at a fast food restaurant before.

The almost 1 hr long drive (to and from) through rush hour traffic was so worth it! A piece of the chicken nuggets and one of their waffle fries had me smiling the whole drive back.

If only they would open one up in the Bay...Until then, I'll just plan more trips to Sac as I finish up my last year in Davis.

Terrible service, "food" was cold on arrival, fries greasy. My wife and I refuse to patronize an anti-gay place, and nobody would rectify the order. KFC is better than this hole.

We take our kids here for dinner every once and a while. They've got a nice play area and good  food. They family night specials every Tuesday! The place is really popular and best experienced at non-peak hours.

Delicious food all over the world
I could be chasing but my time would be wasted
They got nothing on you baby
    Nothing on Chick Fil A
They might say hi come eat me today
But you shouldn't worry about what they say
Cos they got nothing on you baby
    Nothing on Chick Fil A

I've been wanting to go here ever since i saw david choi's video on youtube x_x

I love this place and can't wait to go back. I ordered the #2 which was the chicken sandwich combo. I also ordered the chicken tenders for my friend. I couldn't decide which sauce i wanted so they gave me one of each D: NO EXTRA CHARGE GJ)WGAHWGAWG I LOVE YOU.

Sandwich- Really good! The chicken was actually big and tasted really good, none of that McChicken crap. I added the sauces that they gave me onto the sandwich :) Different sauce for every bite

Waffle fries - It was good but it needed salt. Or dip into one of the billion sauces. I still think Mcdonalds fries are better but meh

Sauces- I think they have like 8 Different sauces, my favorite is either buffalo or the chick fil a sauce :D

It seems like they also have a huge community involvement, on their facebook they have many free giveaways for food and such. I also heard they have small packets of cheerios for your babies D:

The person who took my order even went around asking if we wanted a refill on our drinks! Holy crap! I should have asked if they refilled fries......

    I can't wait to go back T_____T

Chick-fil-a! I thought I'd seen my last of these when I moved out of Texas.

Waffle cut fries and some sweet tea are all anybody needs to feel better, I think.  The all-chicken all-the-time menu is great for anyone that needs a break from burgers.

Now, as both a tip and a warning, you can buy the sweet tea by the gallon.

Yay! A customer of mine's husband owns this joint and after I sold her two dresses, she handed me several vouchers for free food for the team. I dropped them in the drawer at work, not really know when I'd have time to go until one pay period, I was pretty broke. My co-worker in a similar situation found those coupons and drove me over. We ordered some chicken sandwiches and threw in some drinks and split a large order of fries. Dinner for two for 5 bucks. Gotta heart that deal. Anyhow, my coworker told me that Chick-fil-a actually pressure cooks their chicken and it's super healthy. I don't know about a fast food place being healthy. I mean McDonald's has some pretty gross salads with droopy tasteless iceberg... But it tasted pretty healthy, definitely not as greasy as most fast food chains.

Over all 4 out of 5 because the staff was extremely sweet and friendly. Brought out our milkshake because it took a little while longer. The food was also pretty delish and I like their eclectic sauces.
