A great surprise in the middle of nowhere, Florida. It's a big restaurant in an huge inn with an sizable menu of steak and seafood. The food was very good and the service thoughtful and attentive. I had rib bites for an app (meat fell off the bone) and the stuffed grouper special for my entree, which was delicious. I went for a key lime pie also which was good. I definitely recommend Chicanes next time you too are in the middle of nowhere, FL.

The daily menu here was fantastic and the food was the talk of the town! Just fabulous, take it from me, seriously.
The bar? great dirty martinis and the service was on the money. -

Terrible service!! We waited an hour for our entrees to arrive after finishing our salads. The food arrived cold, and after complaining to the manager he completely avoided our table after hearing our complaints. The waitress took our food back to the kitchen to re-warm it, but it was just lukewarm the second time around. Chicanes used to be wonderful, until they remodeled and had to raise the food prices to pay for it. In summary - overpriced entrees, apathetic servers, and detached management. I would NOT recommend Chicanes to anyone anymore. HUGE THUMBS DOWN!!!

Fabulous! Love the view of the lake. Service is friendly and prompt. Food is excellent, high quality, delicious! My hubby had the cedar plank salmon, and I had the Supreme Christina... Both great!

I love sushi night (Tuesday's) at Chicanes. They have the best food and always have different daily specials for both lunch and dinner. I have eaten here several times and can honestly say I haven't had a bad meal or bad service. This place is ROCKS!!!! And the bar is open until 2 am.

Good thing the owner has a captive audiance, because the locals know the low down on this place. The food is over priced for what you get. Now that it has more competition in town, many locals avoid it. The owner has a habit of talking down to locals and making scenes with staff in front of guests. Good place to avoid.
